 + -1 moreI would not recommend them. After he repaired the small knob, then he told me I needed a new air conditioner and started quoting me prices for a new air conditioner.
Description of Work: He first came and said a little knob needed to be replaced; he replaced that and charged me $120.00.

 + -1 moreThey were very good. They did a good job at a good price. The company owner was friendly. He has got his financing at a good interest rate. He was prompt and his workers were here when they said that they would be. They did have the best price.

Description of Work: We moved into our new home in May of 2012, within a month our AC failed. We called several companies to give us estimates. All said that our system needed to be replaced for 5-6k or repairs would be about the same. Air Texas was referred to us by a close family friend. They came out and explained how our system still had a parts warranty for another 2 years and that there was no need to replace it. They ended up replacing the capacitor and fan motor on the outside unit and replaced the capacitor on the inside unit as well for a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: No work done this time due to my husband contacting another servicer who could come out this morning. Since Mark had a large job already scheduled for the morning, he would only be available by the afternoon on this particular Monday.

 + -1 moreThe technician and helper arrived promptly the day that I called. They diagnosed the problem as a bad computer board. This was an unusual part to fail and I was impressed with their professionalism. They explained and showed me why the board was bad. The board was still under warranty, so I was charged with labor only. The price was very fair, and I will use them in the future.
