We are also a Trane Comfort Specialist company, providing high-quality services that include AC repair, duct repair, duct replacement, leak detection, and indoor air quality checking. Air Systems has been in operation under the leadership and guidance of Carlos and Sylvia Jimenez since 1988. Carlos and Sylvia have a combined experience in the HVAC industry of over 60 years. His knowledge of the HVAC industry is extensive and varied, as demonstrated by the numerous industry certifications awarded him, and her experience and administrative expertise has enabled her to develop a well structured organization. We do not service or install window units.

Description of Work: Came out to find out what was wrong with the upstairs a/c unit. Took a long time, but came back with a leak. blown fuse and needs a new compressor. When asked if he could temporarily stop the leak and re-set the fuse so we could get some relief (it was 100 degrees outside and unbearably hot inside from lack of a/c), he said no it would be too dangerous. Best to buy a new system. He would have someone contact me within the next few days. Again, it was 100 degrees outside. Next day, I called a different company, who offered us temporary relief of some units they could bring over to cool us down, investigated, re-set the fuse, and temporarily plugged the leak. He advised we would need to act soon so this doesn't happen again. It was a little frustrating that we had wasted another day in the intense heat that we didn't need to. We have used this company for 2 other units, so this was sort of a disappointment. Hopefully just a lazy technician, and not company policy.
