Great! The technician was on time and acted very professionally. I have done business with Air Systems for over 10 years now. Obviously, they do a good job or I wouldn't continue to use them.

The technician offered me a variety of solutions for replacement with different prices and warranties. He was very helpful and informative. Everything has been working great. I recommend Air Systems to everyone.

Air Systems replaced a coil for me. Carlos provided a quote for me after I provided him with the details of the unit that required repair. I was concerned about making sure I stayed in budget, so Carlos came out to look at the job, to make sure everything was included. The crew arrived on time, wore booties in the house, were professional, and got the work done. It is a longer job, so when it was time for a lunch break, they told me they were leaving and when they would be back. They were back when they said they would be. Ruben reviewed the invoice and warranty information with me and asked if I had any questions. I would use Air Systems again.

There was nothing really terribly wrong with the system. They put some more Freon in and did a fine job. They did a good job.

On time courteous did Mal male mess nice worked quickly and efficiently.

Great service. The technician really knew what he was doing. Only flub up - we had made an appt. for the tech to come out. Somehow the technician was not notified. We had to call when they no showed and reschedule for another day.

Carlos Jimenez (VP/GM) came out for the initial visit so as to provide a quote. From the start, I was very impressed with his professionalism and overall thoroughness. He asked all the right questions, looked at everything, measured where appropriate, and, took away all the information needed to prepare a quality quote. This was in the morning. By that night, I had a very complete and detailed quote covering a variety of size appropriate options. Carlos also provided a follow-up call to ensure we had received the quote and asked if there were any questions. We went with Air Systems and the option we selected was very price competitive with the two other firms we had gotten quotes from (also Angie's list listed and having favorable BBB ratings). Carlos coordinated an install date with us, placed a follow-up call the day before the install, and again availed himself for questions and recommendation as to be prepared for install day. On install day, the crew got here early (as they said they would), put up the appropriate city permits (which Air Systems had pulled), laid down drop cloths to protect our flooring/carpets, and got right to work. By four in the afternoon the unit was up and running and by 6:30 PM the crew had completed the install and done a fantastic clean up job. I scheduled the city code compliance inspector to come by the following Tuesday. Not only did the install pass code compliance review (from an inspector know to be very demanding) without needing any adjustments or corrections, the inspector complimented the work that Air Systems had done.

Rick came to check why the air flow is so poor and found the duct leaked. He recommended the whole unit be replaced. Communication and diagnosis was professional from start to finish. I really appreciated the help with the CPS rebate process. Carlos the manager was easily accessible whenever I had any questions. There was never any fear that they were taking me for a ride or overpricing the services and parts.

Ruben, the A/C specialist arrived on time and was very professional. The price was for a Spring and Fall checkup on 2 systems. Plus, they offer a military discount.

The contractor, Carlos was very responsive even when I was still 'shopping around'. Carlos was the only contractor I spoke to who gave me a clear and consistent explanation of the work that needed to be done. Some other contractors recommended replacing the indoor heater as well (in order to upgrade the entire system), Carlos explained why that was not necessary and we were able to avoid an upsell with another contractor. When we agreed upon the quote, they checked for availability at first opportunity and were able to start work on the first available day - hugely appreciated when your unit goes out in San Antonio in the summer. The head of the work crew, Rick, was very accommodating answering our questions and got the new unit in faster than we expected. When the job was done, Rick replaced a dubious breaker just to reduce the risk of a fuse going out (at no charge).

This provider completed the job as promised and made several checks on current system. At the time of service my home was undergoing a huge remodel. The owner, Carlos, and his crew worked with us to get the job done in the least intrusive and timely manner possible. They were extremely responsive to any questions we had going as far as coming out to the house to answer and/or explain any question or check out anything we perceived to be a problem. In the last 18 months I have had to deal with several contractors and sub contractors in the different trades. None have matched the quality of work delivered and professionalism displayed by the owner and employees of Air Systems. I feel that the investment made in hiring Air Systems was well worth it and my husband and I will hire them again for future services.........

Had a bad experience with another company before and called Air Systems. Ruben was very knowledgeable and professional. Saved us tons of money. Previous company said we had to get new unit where as Ruben said not necessary.

Bright, knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Fixed an AC problem that another company said couldn't be fixed and they wanted $12,000 tp put a new unit in. I was convinced the unit was dead and was just looking for a better price, but he repaired it in about 30 minutes. Had what he needed on the truck.

They were prompt, very courteous and very professional--from my first phone call through completion of the project and the follow-up phone call. I am recommending them today to my sister. They are an excellent company!

The service guy couldn't fix it, but N/C for the call. He said we needed a carpenter & when they removed the boards. He would come back & complete the job which he did.

Ruben arrived a few minutes prior to the 10 am appointment, so he was very punctual. This is very rare in the A/C busines from my past experience, I have done business with a company that claims to be "on time" which is technically true because they give a four hour window. Anyone can be on time when you give your customers a four hour window, this is not being punctual and does not offer good customer service. I had numerous questions prior to Ruben begining which he kindly answered while setting up and then he explained what he was going to do before he did it. Once he determined the problem to be my capacitor, he provided me a quote and upon my agreement he immediately removed the old part and installed the new one. Once everything was in place he proceeded to check voltage, freon and everything else prior to giving it his stamp of approval. I was so pleased with the service that I asked about a service package for my new house which I will be signing up for. A little over an hour after Ruben left the owner of the company called to ask me about my experience, he left a phone message and promptly answered when I returned his call. I have had two other experiences with two other companies and I can honestly say this is hands down my best experience and Air Systems provides honest and dependable service with reasonable and fair pricing.

The bid was excellently written, comprehensive and detailed for tasks and options with prices. The crew arrived exactly on time. Mr. Carlos Jimenez knows the business, runs a tight crew that was efficient and thorough. Personally inspected all the work and made sure that all tasks met his standard of perfection.

I called Air Systems because of the positive reviews on Angie's List. Carlos came the next day and provided an estimate the following day. I had three companies also give me estimates. Carlos was by far the most honest and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. He provided four options which helped us make the best decision. His crew was professionalism and polite. The work was completed in two days with everything cleaned up. The system works great.

The entire team was fabulous! They were very professional, knew what they were doing, took care of any problems that arose and worked well with our contractor as work progressed. We have enjoyed our new unit and it keeps us comfortable regardless of the temperature! We will continue to call on them for our regular maintenance checks and definitely would recommend them to anyone who needs a quality team to repair or replace their heater/AC.

If you read through the entire comment history of this company on Angie's list you will find plenty of glowing reviews. Mine will be one more glowing review, but I want to assure you: that is not the norm for me. Rarely do I find a company's service even worthy of comment in a public forum. But these people are something else! While I have no doubt that this company can handle large jobs, they appear to be well configured, in terms of size and personal concern, to deal with homeowners like me. I'll start with the most important single characteristic about the owners and workmen of this company. Simply put, you can TRUST them completely. You can trust them to be consummate professionals and experts in their profession. You can trust them to do exactly what they say they will do. You can trust them to do the right thing for the customer every time: You can trust them to do the right thing, and the best work: even when no one's looking , even when they could get by with less ,even when it eats into their profit margin to do so.. Carlos, the owner of this company, and correspondingly his employees, exhibit a high level of integrity. Carlos is constructively obsessive about doing great work . (Building inspectors don't easily give opinions, but when directly questioned the man who inspected my unit said he was consistently impressed with the company's quality and thoroughness.) Rick and the installation crew were nice to have in the house and were always on time, courteous and unobtrusive. They really seem to love the work they do! I was in the house looking on during the entire installation and the crew was always cooperative in answering questions and explaining their work. If you don't know much about HVAC and need to trust a professional to give you the best deal on what you really need; you can feel safe with these folks. On the other hand if you want to be like me and you want to become reasonably educated on the engineering and equipment ; and if you want to be highly involved in the selection of your equipment or repairs: these are great people to be with as well. I had the ability to plan way ahead and do a lot of study on replacing my system I talked to and visited quite a few companies and got many bids . Air Systems was highly competitive in price. They provided initial estimates for the standard three levels of equipment. I chose to shop for an even higher efficiency unit, and Carlos was highly cooperative in helping me make the best selection. I was a total pain in the a** about details and Carlos cheerfully stayed responsive all the way through. He even took the time to meet me at the local Trane showroom and get a distributor sales representative involved in educating me and helping me make the decision. Don't be intimidated by the installation price of my unit. You can go much less expensive with these folks. I just happened to choose a very high tech and expensive unit. Trane is a great brand selection. They have manufacturing facilities in Texas and have a strong local distributor presence.They are one of the top rated companies in terms of long-term reliability. They also appear to be on the practical cutting edge of cooling technology. I chose a variable speed compressor unit which is state-of-the-art and I am very happy with that feature as it is coupled with a variable speed fan which makes the unit practically imperceptible in operation. The comfort level and efficiency are correspondingly quite high. It is an 18 SEER unit and should easily pay for its additional cost with utility savings in as little as seven years. I couldn't be more pleased with the equipment and particularly with Air Systems that installed it and will service it under warranty for 10 years.(That means, outside of the nominal cost for normal yearly checkups, all parts and labor for repairs are covered.) In short ,I'd say why bother to shop elsewhere, unless you're just curious . This company is the best.

It went ok, but was much less "complete" than I had expected. The technician arrived on time and was courteous. He brought in a vacuum cleaner and vacuumed around the areas I could have gotten to, measured voltage at a couple of points, and replaced the filter with a filter that I already had. I had expected that the furnace would have been disassembled a bit more so that the heat-exchanger could have been cleaned more thoroughly. I don't believe a brush was even used. Overall I don't feel like the deal was a good value. Air Systems DID service my home. The Angie's List Coupon # Furnace-186374-1 was bought on 11/26/2011 and the service was performed sometime shortly thereafter. Angie's List can confirm the purchase.
