Anthony and his team were wonderful to work with! Anthony was by here often to check on progress and made sure that areas needing to be re-touched or fixed were done. I also changed my mind on the paint color for the bathroom walls and vanities after the initial color did not work well. They willingly re-painted with new colors, even though it may have pushed them back on finishing time. They put making the customer happy at the top of their priority list. We would definitely use Anthony and his team at ARS again!

Anthony and his team did an excellent job. This is the second time they have done jobs for me and both times I have been very pleased. They are always on time, thorough, efficient, and patient with my dogs and 4 year old.

First day there was no staff to start the job. Then someone was brought in and had no knowledge of what was to be done. Did not cover the ceiling fans to protect them from getting splatter with texture and paint. The ceiling fans were left a mess and I had to clean them and also had to take them down and put them up right because they were swaying and making a horrible noise. The walls were left with lost of spots where the paint did not cover. I had to touch up the paint job that I think I paid for and should have gotten professional looking painted walls. The baseboards had run off paint and are noticeable. This company I will not call on to do paint jobs.

It was fine. I would use them again.

We couldn't be happier with the results of the new open space of our tiny upstairs bathroom! Everything Affordable Renovation Services did seemed effortless and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Knowing that our 99.00 paint a room coupon would expire in June, we contacted Affordable Renovation Services to schedule someone to come and survey the rooms we wanted painted. This was in May. Mr. Anthony Barela showed up at our home, and we proceeded to show him the 2 rooms we wanted painted. He reminded us that the coupons were for walls up to 10 ft and that the 2 rooms we wanted painted had peaks higher than that. So he said it would be 50.00 more. We agreed and proceeded to schedule a time for their services. On Wednesday, June 12, Roland and 2 co-workers showed up sharply at 8:00 a.m. They proceeded to touch up any marks on the walls and edges, and tape off anything that wasn't to be painted. They also removed the blinds from the windows. Anthony had recommended paint with a primer. We purchased a 5 gallon paint of Behr premium interior satin paint, since we were painting the 2 rooms the same color. By 6:00 pm 2 the rooms were completed, Roland and crew did a great job of cleanup and restoration. We would certainly use Affordable Renovation Services again.

It went pretty smoothly. The first day, the old shower and bath was removed and the new shower was framed out. Next the plumbing was moved and I needed to purchase the showerheads I wanted. I needed the valves which I know nothing about purchasing so they took care of that for me. Next the floor was installed. In the meantime, I met with Amaris at ProSource to go over tile selection (recommended by ARS). She's the best! She worked with my existing floor tile and my budget. Jason made sure everything went smoothly. Drywall and texture repair, showerheads installed and I have a gorgeous new shower. Cannot be happier.

I did a lot of the prep work beforehand, but they came in and did a lot of the detail work and preparation and then they painted. They were in and out very quick. They cleaned up very well. They did an excellent job. I asked them a couple of questions and they provided answers to me. That was helpful.

We were prepping house to sell and had a target date to show a potential buyer. we wanted all repairs, painting and the new master bath shower completed before we showed the house. We shopped around and had three companies submit bids. ARS submitted their bid the next day after walking the job site. Others took as long as 3 days to prepare their bid. ARS was the only firm willing to do all the work thus reducing my having to oversee more than one contractor. An Exceptional ARS team led by Jason showed up on the promised start date. All demolition work was completed on time as was the painting. Jason ensured there were minimal production delays waiting for custom orders or other materials. New paint job turned out fantastic. Little to no touch up required. New carpet was installed flawlessly. The remodeled master shower was truly the showcase of the project, absolutely stunning. Bottom line - we sold the house during the viewing! One change order was submitted, priced and ultimately completed as a part of this renovation.

It was very simple. I brought in the furniture, was given an estimate, and the work was done. All work was excellent.

An absolutely superb job. We had an in-law suite rebuilt with two small rooms opened to become one, the carpet removed and the floor stained, plus everything was repainted. And it turned out so gorgeous! That was the results side; the business side was just as enjoyable. Their price was lower than their competition and they provided a concise but comprehensive fixed-price contract and then they stuck to it. They were on-time and on-target with the quality of teammates and work performed. If you are looking for a great experience with a remodeling contractor, this is the one to call.

The contractor was very meticulous in ascertaining exactly want we wanted and ask detailed questions to assure he understood. Within a few days we had an acceptable estimate and work began after the loan was approved by my bank. The finished construction was exactly what I had envisioned and all minor details and problems were promptly addressed to my satisfaction. My telephone calls and e-mails were answered quickly and there were no changes to the agreed price for the work. I would highly recommend Affordable Renovation Services.

The job went well. The painting crew showed up on time each day--took three days to complete the work as material and equipment were unavailable to complete the work on the second day. The crew was polite and attentive to the look I wanted achieved.

They came out and gave us a bid on the work for the deck, which they stuck by. They were punctual and worked quickly and efficiently. We ran into a couple of complications, which they took care of immediately - we needed to add plywood to the deck for the carpet, which we had not thought about and the paint on the railing began to bubble, for some reason, and they made sure to fix the problem immediately. They removed all the wallpaper from our bathroom and left no mess! They made a point of matching the paint, perfectly, with the paint we had on the walls in the hallway outside the bathroom. After the work was complete, they made a point of making sure that everything was satisfactory. We will be using them for future projects and will recommend them to anyone needing contracting work.

Called the company and they sent out a foreman. Foreman was very courteous and respectful and gave a killer price. Larry and Cody were the painters who came out and helped me move furniture out the way. They were fast and very nice folks. I will be using their service in the future. This is a top notch team! Anthony, the owner, was great, he came in and looked at the project and had a written estimate within 48 hours and his price beat the competition! Jason, the project manager, was there daily to get the day going and his craftsmen were total professionals. Jason kept me in the loop at least twice a day on the status of the project and was very receptive to my requests. I had crown molding installed and their carpenter was excellent; all edges were nice and tight in spite of the pitch of my ceiling. The painters came in and finished the job, they were just as professional. Everyone cleaned up after themselves every day. My house looks very nice. I wholeheartedly recommend them without any reservation! I plan to use them again for my next project.

The original purchase was for painting a room. When Anthony Barela, the project manager, came to plan the service I requested an estimate on additional services which were not part of the promotional. The price was fair so I included all of the services described above. The project took a week. Anthony began with the ceilings. Larry, Rolando, and Cody taped off the walls and covered the carpets and furniture. It was a masterful job, but still it was hard to keep some of the fine dust from escaping into rooms which were not being worked on. AR's painters came punctually and worked with minimal interruptions. They were friendly and professional throughout. They also took care to be sure that my cat could get back and forth as needed with all the plastic in place. They checked with me at any decision points and made sure I understood what they were planning. Ceiling fixtures were removed carefully and replaced carefully. Walls were painted using a premium paint they recommended which had the primer in it. We discussed the various choices and agreed upon the right products. AR was even able to help me save money on the paint purchase by sharing discounts they had for paint. They used two coats on most surfaces, and three coats on a wall which had been quite dark to start with. They did not paint the floor trim (not in the agreement for walls). Once the ceilings and walls were done their door specialist came to remove the old front door and install the new one. He removed the Larson storm door first, Then he removed the old front door, prepared the opening and installed the new one expertly. He took time and care to make sure that the door was seated just right. He had to adjust the latch on the storm door, though, since he installed the door level and plumb, but the house is no longer really level and plumb. He installed the new trim on the front door interior, and similar trim to a door leading from the living room to a back room. (I had purchased the trim sets.) Sherman took great pride in his work and loved talking about doors. Once the doors were in and the trim was installed, their painter returned to paint the door trim. All of the people who worked with AR arrived punctually and did their jobs well. They were careful, efficient, and made sure I was satisfied before they moved on the next step of things. Each day Anthony stopped by or called to be sure workers had what they needed, and to keep up with progress. His manner was always unhurried and respectful. We had a couple of unexpected turns during the project, but there was no hesitation about pitching right in a finding solutions. They cleaned up after themselves each evening before they left. They also left a clean worksite at the end. Virginia Barela was always available and helpful when I contacted the office with questions. She returned messages promptly the next day if I called late and left a message. I will definitely call Affordable Renovations first when I have future projects!

They've come by, they are going to do a bit more than just painting the walls of one room. They gave me an estimate on the rest and told me what they would need for the other work. Overall they have been very nice so far.

Three different painting and flooring jobs were performed and each one as agreed on in both time, price as well as quality. We have to give Anthony very high marks for his efforts on our behalf. The employees he has work under his quiet supervision and everything went very well. I will use and recommend this company again without any hesitation. Thanks to Angie's list I found this great company and so glad we did.
