I had an appointment to meet with ARS at 9am on Monday. The gentleman called me at 805am telling me he was going to be 20 minutes late ... no problem! 945am, he shows up. I met him in my drive way, explained to him how can I count on giving you a job that may cost a few thousand dollars and you can't be on time. I told him I did not have an issue with him being 20 minutes late, but when you do not call saying you are going to be another 25 min late, that doesn't work for me. I expressed to him, I also have a job to go to and the appointment is a part of the process of getting the bid to do the job, how can I trust if given the job, your team will show up no time? Furthermore, I called ARS 5 times in the course of the week leading up to the appt., it went to a voice message every single time. I told him, how can I trust that if I have an issue afterwards, that I will be able to reach you since every time I called I got a voice mail. I did leave a message once, no call back. We communicated through email. Bottom line, trust is established during the appt., especially when you know you're going to spend a good chunk of money! The gentleman was nice, very polite, but I have to gain trust from the very first visit and no trust was established.

Marcus was an excellent communicator and kept me posted on progress and what he needed. The quality was excellent, too. I will definitely use them again!

Three trades were involved: door framers, trimmers and painters. Coordination of the pieces went well with no time spent waiting for a worker. All the workers were pleasant to have in my home. I have a small "punch list" that I am sure will be addressed. The only item that could have been better was that a trimmer determined how to install a baseboard in an funny spot. The project manager and homeowner had already discussed a different approach. No harm done and no visual ugliness.

Deal through Angie's List was 2 rooms, but I only needed one, so I requested trim painting to be included with the room. Unfortunately, I was told that wasn't relayed to the painters, so only the room walls were completed. I'm sure I'm partially to blame for that misunderstanding, and I will ensure to be crystal clear in the future. The overall value received was good in any case as I do not enjoy doing painting work myself. The painters were prompt for the scheduled arrival time, very professional, and friendly. The work quality was excellent and completed without delay, so I look forward to using them again in the near future for other painting needs. The cleanup was thorough and I couldn't ask for much more for this type of service.

Anthony and the exceptional team from Affordable Renovation Services deserve notably high marks on my living room project that included new baseboards, a brick fireplace partial demo, painting the entire room, and re-tiling the entry closet and foyer. I've been through many remodels that were challenging, problematic encounters that never ended well. Kudos to Anthony and his team for making this experience trouble-free and completely STRESS-FREE. This remodel couldn't have gone better from start to finish. The professional quality of work done was nothing short of amazing. Ernest is a genius with a paintbrush! When the time comes to remodel my kitchen, Affordable Renovation Services is MY team.

The process went smooth considering there were challenges along the way. Marcus was very professional and was always a phone call away when I had any questions or concerns. He did an amazing job keeping me informed of the process. I would definitely use them again.

The process went very well. This company did exactly what was agreed upon. The workmanship was tops and they did a beautiful job. Price noted includes cost of tile. I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend.

Anthony and his great team did an excellent job, the best we have had in several renovation jobs over the years. His painters were exceptionally efficient, cleaning up daily behind their work. The scheduling was accurate and there was no unexpected down time throughout the process. the new cabinet doors were well-made by his carpenters and the installation went very smoothly.

As a first time home renovator I was very nervous with taking on an older home renovation due to all the horror stories that you hear regarding renovation companies. After getting estimates from five different companies I felt the most comfortable with Affordable Renovation and project manager Marcus. Marcus listened to what I wanted to do regarding the renovations and kept in constant contact with me during the different stages of renovations. There were never any complaints when I added multiple different add-ons to the original scope of work and all estimates including the add-ons were reasonable. The entire experience went great and I will definitely be using Affordable Renovation for a future bathroom renovation.

They were pretty good. They were great. They were prompt. They had good quality work. They got it done pretty quickly.

The work was very good which is reflected in the A given for quality. Marcus was a very good project coordinator and was very responsive to our needs/inputs. However, the overall B was because of the difficult time we had with the recommended tile wholesale company. I would never work with ProSource Tile again. I think the overall estimate of the timing for the project was in reality never feasible. Told the project would take 1-2 weeks, it really took at least double that because of the delay in obtaining shower glass which in itself takes at least two weeks and can't be ordered till very late in the overall scheme of things.

The work performed was excellent. They were on time and vert professional.

Their project manager Marcus Armstrong was a professional from the beginning and throughout the entire process. Whenever there was a discrepancy he was proactive and was able to resolve all issues to my satisfaction. The quality of the finished carport was top notch. It looks like it was built along with the original house eleven years ago. I highly recommend this company and will keep them on the top of my list for future jobs.

I did not have the painting done within the allowed timeframe due to my busy schedule. It appears to be necessary to complete this evaluation to get it off my Angie's reminders list. It also appears that N/A would be the appropriate choice for overall rating, but, that is not available, so I am forced to give a rating. I do hope this does not get published.

I love everything. Anthony was very helpful in helping me with choices or he connected me to people who were very helpful. His workers were very professional and easy to be around. The whole project went as scheduled. I will definitely call Anthony again for the rest of my home improvements

The entire experience was great, Anthony and his team were professional and highly skilled, went right to work and were very neat and ensured minimum disruption. The tile work was superb, and the bedroom ceiling repair and painting were excellent. On the demo, they discovered the upstairs plumbing drain needed to be rerouted to avoid any future problems and they did great and fast work to do this mod. We had purchased and cut new baseboards for the downstairs bedroom, intending to install them ourselves, but Anthony's team went ahead and did this for us at no extra cost. We highly recommend them.

All of our work was done on budget although it took a couple of extra days due to unexpected duct work. The ARS Project Manager, Anthony, was onsite almost every day. Like many general contractors the electrical and plumbing was sub-contracted and all work was done very well. We are very happy with their work. Anthony was available by phone and email when we needed to coordinate if a face to face wasn't possible. I would highly recommend ARS.

All of the people who worked with AR arrived punctually and did their jobs well. They were careful, efficient, and made sure I was satisfied before they moved on the next step of things. Each day Anthony stopped by or called to be sure workers had what they needed, and to keep up with progress. His manner was always unhurried and respectful. We had a couple of unexpected turns during the project, but there was no hesitation about pitching right in a finding solutions. They cleaned up after themselves each evening before they left. They also left a clean worksite at the end. Virginia Barela was always available and helpful when I contacted the office with questions. She returned messages promptly the next day if I called late and left a message. I will definitely call Affordable Renovations first when I have future projects!

My house was damaged in a store in July. Anthony came to my residence and looked over the entire job. He submitted an estimate to paint the entire house with the exception of a couple of bedrooms. He also worked with me on getting my game room repaired. Anthony went above and beyond to make sure the repairs were done right and that I was satisfied with their work. I really only had one problem and that was that the painters never showed up on Monday. It was kind of funny. Once the job was complete Anthony and the painter, Ernest, came to the house and did touch up work and made sure that everything was back in working order. I would recommend them and will be using them again to paint the exterior of the house soon.

The work was done exactly as we wanted. The building inspectors were quite demanding but Anthony and his crew handled everything very professionally. They quoted a price and stuck with it...Anthony has gone above and beyond to make sure we are pleased with the results of the construction. He is our go to guy for any renovations in the future! Scheduled Appointment, spoke with office to confirm. We waited for over 2 hours, no one showed up or called - never heard from them.

The cost was not in the ballpark I was looking at. My interactions with them was fine. They were professional, on time, courteous. I would consider getting an estimate again.

David called and communicated several times coordinated with my tenant and was courteous and professional in the whole transaction. I highly recommend Affordable Door and David, and will use them again for other properties when necessary.
