AFFORDABLE BLINDS AND SHUTTERS

Denise Rimkus of Affordable Blind & Shutters was very professional and her knowledge of window treatments helped me make the right choice for my new home. Also, she was always available when I had any concerns or questions The installer took great care and time in installing the Hunter-Douglas shades. It has been a year since the install and am enjoying them every day. I would highly recommend Denise for your window treatment needs.

I originally saw their add in "The Home Mag" and thought I would consider them as my husband and I try to do as much business locally as possible. Before I ordered anything I looked at reviews from Angie's list and checked on the BBB site. I read a couple reviews that were not great so I thought I would call them and talk to them personally. I spoke with the owner, Belinda about my concerns. She assured me that all of the negative comments were due to franchise openers of these stores actually going out of business and leaving their customers high and dry. She assured me that would never happen with her. She said if I bought from her she would personally take care of the order. I felt she was honest and really trying to repair the damage other franchise owners had caused to the company name. Boy was I wrong!!!!!!! I placed my order agreeing to pay half down and the other half after the install. They were installed a little over a month later but the installer had a problem fitting two of the solar shades correctly. They hung crooked and were too narrow for the windows so they didn't cover completely. The installer wasn't quite sure how to fix the problem and said they may have been cut incorrectly when they were made. He took pictures and assured me the company stands behind their product and would make it right. I paid the remainder and felt confident they would fix it. This was around the holidays so I really didn't expect anything to happen until later in January. To shorten this already too long review I will say that after many, many phone calls on my part and lame excuses on their part, and here it is six months later, they have NOT fixed it!!!! As a matter of fact the owner sold her company and left me high and dry! Sound familiar?????

Excellent! Ms Helen Griffith came to our home & showed us a number of different options & helped us decide on a product that we liked, and within our budget. She was very professional & helpful without being pushy - a real pleasure to work with. When our blinds came in about three weeks later, the installer was just as professional and pleasant as the salesperson (I forgot to get his name). He stayed until I was satisfied with the installation of all the blinds, tweaking here & there as needed. No complaints whatsoever about either the product, sales process or installation process. Highly recommend.

Affordable has a lot of integrity and it shows in their work. I can always trust them to do the job right and to tell me what the best product would be for my home. The blinds look great and I'll definitely keep calling them for all my window treatment needs in the future.

This company was wonderful. A man came and measured my windows. He was one hour late, but he did call me ahead to let me know that he was detained by the previous job. He was very friendly, neat, and very helpful. The man that installed my blinds did it in five minutes. Wow!. Thank you. Gracie

THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM AFFORDABLE BLINDS WAS VERY HELPFUL IN ASSISTING ME IN DECIDING THE TYPE OF BLINDS THAT WOULD BE THE MOST DURABLE AND AFFORDABLE FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE VERY QUICKLY AND WERE BACK TO DO THE INSTALLATION IN A REASONABLE TIME.

THE OWNER WAS PROFESSIONAL AND CAME AND MEASURED THE WINDOWS PRIOR TO THE COMPLETION OF THE HOME. HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT TYPE OF BLINDS WOULD BEST SUIT OUR NEEDS. WE HAD OUR BLINDS HUNG WHEN WE MOVED INTO THE HOUSE.

AFFORDABLE BLINDS WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL BUT ALSO VERY PERSONABLE. THEIR PRICES WERE LESS THAN THE TWO OTHER QUOTES I RECIEVED FORM OTHER COMPANIES. THE ENTIRE PROCESS ONLY TOOK A WEEK AND A HALF FOR INSTALLED CUSTOM WOOD BLINDS!
