Michael quickly responded to my e-mail and text messages. His team was responsible, clean, prompt, and very professional. I could not have been more pleased! They take great pride in their work.

We were in the process of buying a new home so I started looking on Angie's List for a reliable painter. I called ACL who I saw was running a special at that time and spoke with Michael about doing the job but we hadn't closed on the house yet. He said to give them a call back when the house closed and he would come out and give us an estimate. We FINALLY closed on the house about 3 weeks later and gave Michael a call. I met with him and did a walk thru with him. He gave us an amazing price to do the whole interior and we set up a time for he and his crew to come in and get started. I asked how long it would take to finish and he said they would be done in a day or two. WOW I thought it would take much longer but they had it finished when he said it would be. My husband did a walk through after they were done and was very pleased with their work. Everything was perfect, looked awesome and they cleaned up very well. We asked for an estimate to paint the exterior and another one for the deck/balcony. ACL Painting will be my first phone call from now on when ever I need some painting done. Michael, you guys rock!!!

The two painters that came out to paint were so friendly. They describe to me what they would be doing for the day, and what time they hope to be complete. I have kids that were very talkative to them, and they would talk back to them. They were very nice to them! Thank you so much! Made my kids feel happy to have them say hello to them. They moved our furniture with care. They set out their supplies neatly, and they were very organized. They only took a lunch break. They did a fantastic job on the walls, and took their time with the hard areas like outlets. We have a vaulted celling in the living room, and they did a great job on ladders making sure to get every spot painted. When they were done painting for the day they put our furniture back where it was before with great care. They even did a walk through to make sure they didn't miss a spot while painting. They were dressed nicely, and like I said before very kind. I HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you so much!!

Purchased the exterior painting special. The estimate showed that our area to be painted exceeded the special's max sf, so we were informed that there would be an extra cost. Some wood was rotted and we received a quote at the time of estimate for the cost to replace that section wood when the painting occurred. Our start date was pushed back several times, due in part to the contractor being over-booked and also due to weather. We were very impressed with the painting, but were disappointed to find that the wood we had asked to be replaced was only puttied over, without informing us first (we'd rather have stopped and had a professional replace it). We asked for a break down of costs- to show that we were overcharged due to the puttying of the wood rather than the replacement we were promised, but never heard back from the company. Overall, the service was good; the painting itself was very well done and everyone was very friendly. However, as we are fairly strict customers, I don't think we will be using them again. We will recommend them to others, with the suggestion that potential customers ask for a formal written estimate first.

They were very late but then got right down to business. They were efficient and friendly. They put a second coat on the area that needed it.

Bought the $899.00 exterior for 1500sf of painting. Michael Jr. came out, looked at the house and said it would cost another $300 because of the square feet. I agreed to the price of $1199.00 plus paint which I bought for 380.00. His men came out and spoke NO english and began to spray paint the exterior. They could not understand that I wanted it hand painted so I called Michael Sr. and insisted that it was to be hand painted versus spray painting. He agreed and talked to his painters.His men did an excellent job and the exterior looks great. Had I left it to them it would have been a one coat spray paint job.

Both rooms also required taping and floating so we paid the firm the additional amount. Initially, I balked at the additional price and they offered to come down by $100.00. Ater watching them work for three days, including all the effort to mud and sand the garage three times to fill in the 30 years of non-maintenance, we decided to pay the full amount. Really great team -- professional and friendly.

I ended up getting a refund because the job I had in mind would have cost an additional $200. The square footage matched the Deal specifications, but it was in three different rooms. I have nothing bad to say about them, they were very responsive and courteous, but am enlisting Angie's List to find another company.

They were prompt, courteous, knowledgable and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and accomplished all that was contracted (plus some!).

Michael was very willing to work within my budgetary and timing needs. His price was fair and he was extremely professional. His contractors were late on a few days, but made up for it by staying a few extra hours at the end of the day. We made a complaint to Michael about the punctuality and the fact that the contractor had invited his son and friend over to the house without notice and Michael took care of the issue, apologizing for their actions. The overall job was done well and within the time frame specified. I would use ACL painting again.

I just finished a kitchen/bath/living area remodel and realized my bedrooms looked very drab after the work was completed. They were in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint, but with the holidays fast approaching I thought this would be impossible to do by myself. I went onto Angie's list and found the coupon for A.C.L. Painting. Imagine my surprise at not only a reasonable rate, but prompt and professional service too! I was called immediately with a bid and scheduled time to paint the next day. It was great to be met at the door the next morning by 3 very professional painters. They were able to do the job of 4 bedrooms (1 very large) in a matter of a 1.5 days. They moved the furniture, were careful of my new carpet and did trim as well. The colors I had chosen ranged from very deep rust/greys to light yellows/tans and yet there were no flaws in any of the rooms. I will be contacting them in the new year for a bid on the exterior of my house. The total cost I listed does include paint, so be sure you are prepared to buy they paint and pay for the service. I was also pleased by the followup text a day later to be sure I was happy with their service and the final results. If you need painting, especially quickly, then I recommend them wholeheartedly!!

Mike was very quick to meet with us to give us a quote. Even though his primary service is painting, he told us that he could take care of all of the rotting wood, including all the way up to the top of our chimney. He said they would start Monday and it would take 4 days to complete. They came out on Monday and power washed the entire exterior with bleach. We had lots of rain on Monday night and all day Tuesday, so we didn't expect that they would be out until Thursday in an effort to let things dry out. But they showed up bright and early on Wednesday and got to work. On Friday Mike spoke to my husband with concerns about replacing the wood on the side of the chimney. We agreed that they wouldn't do the work on the chimney, but if an inspector came out and said that it had to be replaced, he would come back and take care of it. A couple of hours later, my husband heard them by the chimney and went to take a look. Mike went ahead and had his guys take care of it rather than waiting to see if it would be a problem. All of his crew were professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themsleves and got things done in the time promised, even with all the rain. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything looked good and did an excellent job. They took care of the interior job for me at a moments notice and did an awesome job! We are very happy with their work! We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done for their home.

I felt that his pricing was fair. His workers were really great. They were respectful. They paid attention to detail. Michael came everyday to check on the work to make sure he was satisfied. I had three or four friends that used him since, and they've been really satisfied.

They did a great job. We would recommend them. Their was no pressure to add more work. They did such a good job that we had them do more work. Their prices were very reasonable. They didn't leave any messes, they cleaned up after themselves. They were an extremely professional company.

Job went well. Three painters arrived on Memorial Day day during which all of the wood was primed in about three hours. Tues and Wed all of the wood trim was painted with two coats of white. The bathroom took two coats as well. Our estimate was for one but covering a dark color over the textured wall took one more coat. We didn't do our usual 'do it yourself' to avoid uneven lines, brush marks on the ceiling, etc... We were not disappointed! The wood work looks great! All gaps were caulked and holes filled prior to prep work. If we need additional painting we will definitely call ACL.
