Description of Work: I contacted ACL for estimate bid in July 2013. It took me 2 weeks to get on their schedule for appointment on the day of appointment I received text from Michael stating his daughter was ill and had to take her to ER so would have to reschedule. When I told him I took day off for appointment and I'd be there all day waiting he showed up around 3 pm, 6 hours later than originally scheduled. I waited for the bid to arrive by email after a week contacted them and said fell off radar. Once I received bid I wanted to start work and then stated there was a 3 wk wait to begin work on Aug 26,1013. I agreed. I followed up with ACL painting today to affirm start date for this Monday and received an email that I would be pushed back another week to Sept 4. No phone call, an email. I don't want to do business with this company as they are unreliable.

Description of Work: Had a difficult time initially getting in touch with company due to no callback. Once the provider came out he was very nice, but the quote that came back was an additional $2,000 to the Big Deal price which means this isn't a deal. It's a standard exterior painting price. I would like a refund due the quote I received so that I can continue getting other quotes and do more comparison shopping before making a decision.

Description of Work: Mike was very nice to come out and give me an estimate. The way I read the coupon, it said it was for exterior painting of the house, trim and all. I just wanted the trim painted. Turns out that in order for the trim to be painted I need to powerwash it and that was an extra charge. If I wanted the front and back doors, window surrounds, porch and patio trims and surrounds painted, that would be extra as well as the paint itself. By the time I was done with this project, it would have doubled my cost. Ijust can't afford to do this right now which is why I am requesting a refund.

Description of Work: Ordered the big deal and then immediately contacted the vendor who informed me that they couldn't fit me in for 2 months. I'm moving in 3 weeks and waiting 2 months is unacceptable so I contacted Angie's list that same day and requested a refund. Called back today because the refund hasn't been applied and they resent the request form.

Description of Work: Made several attempts to schedule. Service provider kept rescheduling. We have already purchased the paint for the job. We were just dissappointed considering the high rating for the company.

Description of Work: I paid $1,007 for exterior painting of my home. The painter never contacted me I had to initiate his service. After that, his son, not him, came out to the house to look at it. The painter then called me to tell me some of the wood would need replacing prior to painting and he said he would e-mail me an estimate for that. I never received that e-mail and two weeks passed and I heard nothing from the painter. During all of this my husband was in the ICU fighting for life so I was terribly stressed and this only added to my stress level. This was very disappointing to me.

Description of Work: Left two voicemails and two e-mails over the course of several weeks attempting to get information on the big deal regarding exterior paint service for $899 and square footage. We never received a phone call or e-mail response.
