Description of Work: Re-hung a large cabinet that had pulled off the wall. Did an excellent job and were most kind and considerate about the problem I had because of this situation. I could not park my car in the garage as long as this cabinet was not solidly affixed to the wall. Could not have been more pleased!!!!!

Description of Work: Called provider and explained what the job was and they said they could do so. Had an appointment on a friday and thought they would start that day. They canceled the day before which was not good but understood. We lined up for the following Wednesday. A man did show up and looked at the job for just a few minutes and left. I was told before he showed up that he would start the job the next day. I got a call from Brany a short while later saying that the man did not have the right tools. She called another office to see if they could help but she stated they were not able to . this was such a waste of time and now I have to start all over. Be sure to be looking at other places and not put much faith in what they say.

Description of Work: We were making modifications to our house in preparation to sell it. We bought a door from Lowes and attempted to set it ourselves. Ultimately we went with Handyman for the repairs. Initially, it was going to take a week to come out and replace our door, but a last minute cancellations got us an appointment the next day. The technicians were extremely friendly and professional. They even provided additional tips on things we could do to fix up our home, to make it more prepared for selling!

Description of Work: We had leaks inside the house from what we thought was the roof. They inspected our roof, particularly around some windows. They found dry rot and some bad flashing. They repaired (and repainted) all the areas repaired. A couple of other companies estimated and each similarly diagnosed the problem, but 2 of the 3 others stated they recommended replacing the entire window. It has been raining steadily (off and on) since repair and we have not seen any leaks.

Description of Work: I bought a new stove and after delivery I discovered that I could no longer open the diswasher door due to the size of the handle on the oven door. Steven creatively moved the dishwasher and stove just a tiny bit to solve the problem. I anticipated cutting into a wall and having a big project so I am a happy person. I definetoly will call Handyman Matters in the future and have recommended them to a friend.

Description of Work: Came out to give estimate on door repair. They were unable to do the repair, but referred me to a company that can. We have used Handyman Matters a few times in the past and have been very happy with their work.

Description of Work: They built steps for the patio and stained the back fence...also changed a light bulb and put in a screen door.

Description of Work: I needed 3 blinds hung. Simple enough job BUT on a 15ft ladder almost straight up to reach. Mark was given the job and arrived a bit early which was fine with me. I pointed out what I needed done and we laughed. He proceeded without hesitation. It took about an hour up and down the ladder about a dozen times. Had to remove old brackets, kill a spider or two, knock webs out of the way then place new brackets and attach blinds. Did an excellent job. Thanks much! Will definitely use this service again!

Description of Work: Gave me a bid to do a small roof repair and re-stain my pergola. Very nice gentleman, early for appointment and he spent about 20 minutes looking at the job and talking to me about it. Unfortunately, the pricing was considerably more than I had anticipated. This is not a reflection on them(as they were my first bid). And apparently labor costs are much higher than pervious jobs I have done over the years. |
