Responsive and easy to schedule. Craftsman Marc did an excellent job, completing all work within estimated time. He even made a run to a close by hardware store for a part that should have been left with the shelving, but wasn't. All work was completed carefully and expertly. We will definitely use Handyman Matters again.

Made an appointment , took the day off. Expected a technician to come and do the work and it was a no-show. I was told that the service would cost approximately 67 an hour and I anticipated several hours to clear out rain gutters in my home. Rescheduled but I did not take another day of work off. Technician came by but did no wok, only gathered info, I guess to make an estimate based on the length of the gutters. I waited over a week and received an estimate of 750 for four laborers and parts and this was done without anyone even looking into the gutters, just measuring from the ground. The majority of the gutters are clear but one side has trees. I went from expecting a few hours of work at 67 an hour and then I ended up with a 750 estimate, all the while I kept expecting somebody to show up, clean the gutters and charge me for the time they spent doing it. Now I have to look for somebody else.

EXCELLENT!! The craftsman (Mark) was awesome! Very professional and insightful. From his communication prior to arrival to the finished task - SIMPLY PHENOMENAL! Additionally, I had asked for him afterwards to take a look and provide a quote on an aging deck for add on railings and gates for my 19 month old daughter. EASY DAY - got his tape and provided me ideas and recommendations. Mark and Handyman Matters will definately be at the top of my list for service!!! You will not be disappointed!

Booked this appointment about 30 days out after receiving a few bids from other vendors on Angie's List. Handyman Matters was far and away the best deal out there, and I booked them the same day I spoke with them. I opted for an 0900 appointment and was told David would be the handyman providing my services. Fast forward to today, the day of the appointment, and things started off a little rocky. 0900 came and went. At 0930 there was still nobody here. I finally get a phone call at 0945 from Marc advising me that he was running late and asked if 1030-1045 would be a suitable arrival time. My radar immediately went off due to the fact that David was supposed to be our handyman, not Marc. It turns out David stopped showing up for work, and Marc got double booked at 0900 due to the fact that he had to absorb part of David's schedule. No biggie. Once Marc showed up at 1030 we both realized what had happened, and he promised to work hard to make it right. Marc was outstanding, and had all the work completed within 3 hours. He was professional and friendly, and I intend to ask for him again the next time we use their service. On top of that, they came in well below the dollar figure I had budgeted for, so it was a definite win all the way around. Can't recommend these guys enough. Great job.

To start off, this is the second time we have used Handyman Matters. So that says something there. Marc Chambers showed right on time and after I showed him what the problem was he was ON IT. Seems the old grout and caulk in our shower had cracked and after our grand son put a towel over the drain and had water 2 inches deep in the shower stall which then leaked into our den and bedroom. Grandson knows better now. Marc had the problem solved in 20 minutes and looks GREAT. Re caulked all around the floor and up each cornor about 4 inches.. Another good job by Handyman Matters.

They arrived on time for the measurements and then we received a call with the price within 24 hours. We were going to use this company but we received a estimate from another company that was within dollars of Handyman Masters. The only reason we did not use Handyman Masters was the other person could get the job done a week sooner, and we were on a time frame. I would not hesitate to call Handyman Matters again if I need other work done on my home.

this is third time doing work for us--obviously they are doing great work. Steven has been here twice and is outstanding--works hard and efficient. he's very professional. yes they will be called back for future work.

A fairly old sliding glass door had become more and more difficult to open. Marc Chambers of Handyman Matters figured out that the track was bent and that the rollers had become loose so that the door was actually grating along the track. He repaired the track and soaped it. Then he tightened the rollers so that the door actually rolls. He was ~30 minutes late because the previous client had found more new problems while he was working on the one about which they had called in the first place. But Mr. Chambers called to give me an updated time, so I was not inconvenienced.

Jerry was a few minutes late due to rain but called to notify me. He was very friendly knowledgeable efficient. He did a great job ! was able to work through complications that arose. Grete job!!

Handyman arrived on time . Quickly assessed repairs needed and promptly completed work. Inquired about fence repairs. Handyman agreed to return the next day. He returned next day with necessary supplies and repaired fence, fence gate, and siding on shed. All repairs were completed courteously and satisfactorily. Have made several requests for clarification on painting job but have not heard from handyman.

Jerry arrived a little early and went right to work, he didn't waste any of his or my time. He kept me aware of where he was with the repairs and estimated the ending cost for me. He was extremely polite and professional, I would not hesitate to recommend Handyman Matters or Jerry to anyone. They stated no job too small and they stand by that, spend a hundred or five thousand they treat you the same.

They are very curious, very knowledgeable and we got the bidding in a timely manner. The other three companies that i need did not respond back to me.

After some confusion before receiving estimate all was performed on time. Jerry was very courteous and knowledgeable.

Steven arrived right at the agreed upon time and after reviewing the work to be done, got right to work. He was diligent and moved all of the tools he needed from his truck to the work site. Because our house (like many in SA) lacks gutters, the rain water splashes off the patio and onto the back door jams. Over many years, that water has caused the wood to rot. He cut out the decaying wood and replaced with milled cedar. After filling with wood putty, he primed and painted the jams with paint he matched perfectly with our existing paint color. I've had a gate fence that hasn't opened smoothly for years because it drooped and rubbed. Steven offered to install a small angle bracket to it shoring it up. Now the gate opens effortlessly! His attention to detail is excellent. Even though I wish this sort of quality work could be done for less money, I realize that skilled employees (not sub-contractors with questionable backgrounds) that are insured and bonded drive overhead costs up. My wife and I are very happy with the work performed by Handyman Matters!

The ladies in the office were awesome, professional, helpful and provided an estimate for the work. Nick was incredible. He was on time and finished earlier than anticipated. He was completely professional and the work is better than the originals. I have more projects on my 'to do' list and I will definitely use Handyman Matters again.

Everything went very well with the gutter cleaning service. The only unprofessional thing I found was that Zack had asked to use the restroom upon arrival. I find it unprofessional that he wouldn't have taken care of that before arriving at my home. Other than that the quality of the work was very good.

Jerry Settles was great. He went with me to Lowes to get what was needed, explained everything he was doing, and cleaned up afterwards. He was polite and efficient, and very pleasant to deal with.

We were very happy with the experience and would call Handman Matters again.

Stephen arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently to perform the desired work. He was courteous and professional, and made sure to consult me with minor modification decisions as he built my banquette. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the work performed, and I would definitely consider hiring Handyman Matters in the future for other projects.

The young man who came out was punctual and genial. He was friendly and easy to talk to. He went up into the attic of my 1 story home 2100 sqft to take some measurements. It is partially floored already with plywood that provides me with some storage space. However, as the family gets bigger we need more room to put our junk. He took his measurements and explained that I could provide the materials (plywood and screws) to decrease the overall cost. I also volunteered the use of my table saw so they didn't have to lug one from across town. I would have thought these concessions would have easily made the price reasonable, but I was mistaken. A few days later, I received an estimate via email for nearly $3,000! That was for labor only. Not one single material would be provided in the estimate except for plastic bags in case any insulation would need to be removed. Remove excess (extra) insulation and bag up for customer Estimated labor (craftsman) = 6hrs @ $67/hr = $402 Estimated labor (helper) = 6hrs @ $40/hr = $240 Estimated labor (helper) = 6hrs @ $40/hr = $240 Estimated material cost = $133.75 Notes ? If customer would like for us to dispose of the insulation removed there will be additional costs involved. Install sheets of plywood in attic Estimated labor (craftsman) = 14hrs @ $67/hr = $938 Estimated labor (helper) = 14hrs @ $40/hr = $560 Estimated labor (helper) = 14hrs @ $40/hr = $560 This is laying plywood and screwing it down. I don't need a craftsman to do that. And 18 man hours to bag up extra insulation that may be in the way? That seems excessive.

Marc C. called me when he was on the way and arrived promptly. He adjusted the door and replaced the strike plate and now there is no daylight visible nor outside air drawing into the house and the door feels more secure. Marc was very professional and the quality work was quick and totally to my satisfaction.

Emailed a short description of the work to be performed and was contacted within a day or two by the office. An on-site estimate appointment was made for Apr 1 at 5:30pm which was approximately two weeks from the office contact. I did not receive an appointment confirmation. I called the office about 5pm on Apr 1 to check to see if someone was coming and was told Steve Crowe would be there soon. He then called me and said he would be there a bit later than 5:30. When he arrived we discussed the work, he gave me an informational brochure and said the next step was a written estimate. That is the last I heard from Handyman Matters. An Update: I think when the Company saw my review I was called and they left me a voice mail. It explained that two emails with the estimate had been sent. I had already checked my inbox, trash, individual folders several times and didn't see the emails, but after receiving the call I did check again. Then a couple of days later I realized I had not checked spam and they were both there. I've updated my ratings. We have not yet decided to contract for the work with Handyman Matters, but we may.

Jerry was on time,courteous, and very skilled. The job was well done and very efficiently.

The experience with Handyman Matters was pretty poorly. They canceled the first session we did. The second session, they came out and did some of the work but did not finish it. They said they would come back and finish it but never heard from them for more than a week. I ended up hiring another handyman company to finish the work. The sad thing about it is they left an open hole in my master bathroom floor where the toilet should have been. They removed it but they never installed the new one. They said they could not do it because they ran out of time or whatever but it’s only been two and a half hours. It was very annoying.

I have not done any work yet. For Handyman Matters it was very easy. I had them look at things i.e. for multiple repairs, some lighting issues, some plumbing remodeling. Most of it is pretty minor stuff. I spoke with them probably two weeks ago. I don’t have it in front of me. They actually did a quote on multiple jobs. I think it is reasonable. I don’t think it’s high so it is reasonable. Yeah, if I get everything lined out I probably use them it just that I may not use them for everything but there may be some things that I had to do myself but I do see why I would use them.
