The technician was very prompt and professional and did a very good job.

My clients hired this company to do some repairs on a home they were selling. The sellers were out of state so I scheduled and coordinated the repairs. The company was able to get out there promptly however it was down hill from there. They repaired the wrong section of drywall, charged $1300 to replace a first floor standard double pane kitchen window and failed to keep me updated on the status of the project as it was being done. The office personnel did not know my name or my clients name after being told both repeatedly. Called demanding payment for a half finished job stating they couldn't do what they had already agreed to do.

Marc came to our home and did a wonderful job on everything. We have already called them to schedule another project! He is very professional and provides honest quotes for the types of projects in his specialty areas. He had all the correct tools and additional supplies to use just in case. In fact, the screws supplied with the curtain rod kits snapped so he supplied ones from his collection. He does excellent work and cleans up all the dust, debris, etc that is left from the job. We are glad we found him!

Marc did an excellent job and was very professional. I brought them out after having a problem with someone else trying to install the curtain rods. Marc did a thorough job and made sure they were anchored well as the previous person had compromised the drywall pretty severely. I would definitely hire them again if the need arises!

Rich was a thorough professional, fast, steady worker, good problem solver, great attitude, multi-talented. So far everyone that handyman matters has sent has been superior talent.

Marc Chambers was terrific. I had originally scheduled Handyman Matters to replace the light kit in my game room ceiling fan, and switch out a fluorescent light fixture in the kitchen with a ceiling fan with lights. Replacing the light kit was a breeze! Unfortunately, in my 20 year old house the fluorescent light fixture did not have a junction box from which to connect (and hang) the fan. Marc went to the trouble to go to Lowe's to purchase one but it was decided that a bigger hole would need to be created in my popcorn-covered ceiling sheetrock...and a different handyman would be needed to do the job. Marc returned from Lowe's, helped with measuring for a different job, and will be back again! Overall, very pleased with the honesty and excellent communication! Will definitely hire Handyman Matters again!

I had a few repairs requested when I closed on my house. Marc did a great job with the 3 tasks that I requested: taping the vent hood above the microwave, cleaning out the aerator at the kitchen sink that was causing a slight leak at the base of the faucet, and repairing the trim at the window on the back door. He did an exceptional job with the trim on the back door as there was extensive damage! He was able to fix the trim in a seamless manner and paint the door to make it look brand new.

John Gonzales was very professional and friendly, and gave me good advice as to types of bulbs suitable for my fixtures. He did an excellent job.

Mark called to let us know he was running a little late. We appreciated the courtesy call. When he arrived, he noticed that we had purchased the incorrect roof shingles. He took the incorrect ones back and got the correct ones. Mark did an inspection on the roof and was able to replace the missing shingle as well as seal up the exposed nails. This work was to fix a leak into the house only when it rains. It hasn't rained yet so we don't know if it has been repaired yet, but we did get great service and would use this company again.

The second time I've used this company and again I'm pleased with their work. I recently pulled carpet out of two of my rooms and replaced with laminate flooring. I couldn't quite get the doors to hang properly without getting stuck. Marc was able to rehang the doors properly and now my rooms look complete. Based on these two experiences and a time where I referred this company to a friend for a roofing repair (he was also pleased), I will continue using this company for my small home repairs.

The out of big shipping box shelf was carefully and flawlessly assembled in 2 hrs or less. It is a good size, decent piece of furniture. Marc, my repeat service pro, definitely knew what to do. The other two items were done well too. All 3 jobs were completed in about 3 hours. Everything is working well. There are conscientious and clean up well after the work. I have used them 4-5 times since buying my substantially remodeled home (built in 1951) three years ago. I researched them carefully from Angie List. I happy with the quality work done by their professional and knowledgeable service team. The owner, office and scheduling team are superb too.

It went very well. Mark arrived one time. He was very friendly and professional and I felt very comfortable that he could do the tasks I had. Most were simple but he accomplished all efficiently and quickly. There was no job too small and I appreciated he was so willing to do them since my husband nor I are able to. Plan to use him again in the near future for other jobs.

The job began with a call to Handyman Matters which answered all my questions and set up services in a very timely manner. It went very well. Brett did an excellent job and was very professional and personable. He cleaned up after himself and even pointed out that a bookcase would need to be moved so the glass door would not meet up with the corner of the bookcase. He moved the bookcase for me as well. Brett did an excellent job and worked quickly and efficiently. His work was meticulous. I would definitely hire him again.

Ed and his assistant Jason gave me fantastic service in every way, and at a reasonable price. Ed is so knowledgeable that he was able to suggest better and less expensive methods than I had in mind. We had a thorough discussion when he provided an estimate, and his comments showed he was carefully considering how to get the job done well while keeping my costs down - he's a creative thinker and he comes up with options to save money rather than run up the bill. Had I followed the advice of an earlier handyman (not from their company), one of the changes wouldn't have met Code - but Ed knows details like that. He's also super-skilled in executing his work, so he doesn't have to dawdle - he is a mean motor scooter when it comes to running down the task list! These guys also were very personable and professional and I felt completely comfortable having them in and around my home. I would recommend HANDYMAN MATTERS for your home repairs to friends and neighbors without any reservation. I have their number on file, and next time I need something, I'll go right to them. Are you getting the theme here? - they are GOOD.

Jason did a good job verifying the wall in questions showed me in the attic the wall and ensured it wasn't load bearing. He then proceeded to take out a portion of wall and door jams. He worked closely with my electricians ensuring they knew which part of the wall had electrical wires in it. He accomplished everything on my to do list as requested. He was able to create my two new wine cabinets without design drawings just by talking through it.

Brandi was very, very professional and courteous with the scheduling process. Marc and Eric came out on separate occasions to complete the work. They were efficient, polite, professional and got the job done to my satisfaction. I appreciated their "no nonsense" approach to the work. I will use them for any future jobs!

When Marc arrived, I wasn't sure how long it would take him to do the requested service which was reattaching the loose shutter and checking the shutter on the other side of the window (and securing it as well, if necessary). Not only did he do that, he asked if there was anything else I needed done since there was time remaining in the hours' worth of time that the company charges the customer for. I asked him to check the gutter to see if it needed to be cleaned and he removed whatever leaves were present, and then he made sure the downspout was clear by using the hose. There was still about fifteen minutes remaining in the hour, so I asked him to install a hanger for my paper cutter which he did. All work was done within the 60 minute time frame. He was professional, friendly, time-conscious and made sure that I was happy with the results. I'm very pleased with his work and will make sure to ask for him again if I need a handyman.

Jason Mickel arrived on time at 9 am. He was friendly, courteous, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Work was done as my wife and I specified. We are very pleased with the work done today.

It has been a couple of years ago. They did have good pricing. There's a reason why we're not totally happy with them but I don't remember exactly what the reason was. They did fairly good quality of work.

Jason was friendly, and would make jokes when the time allowed lol. He was quick and efficient and was finished earlier than expected. He required little help from me once he got the picture of what I was trying to do. Will use again, thanks!

My husband and I are in the process of getting estimates to have our master bath remodeled. He was interested in the Wedi shower system, however, very few licensed companies/individuals are certified in this process. Handyman Matters was recommended by the local Wedi representative. My husband first contacted the Boerne location, but was told that we were out of his area, so we were referred to the San Antonio location. He called and described what we were looking for and was told that their "craftsman" was booked up for the next month, and that the first appointment that we could get for an estimate was today, Monday July 13 at 5p. I was off from work today, so we made sure that we scheduled everything that we had to do, with time to get back home for our appointment. At 4p, we were contacted by Handyman Matters to cancel. We were told that his truck had broken down this morning and he was unable to get it repaired to come out and give an estimate. The other estimates we received were in the ballpark of 8,000-10,000, so I would expect that they would have been in that general area. This last minute cancellation, after waiting a month, indicates to me irresponsibility, and more importantly, complete disrespect for my time. The offered to "fit us in" tomorrow, however, we both work, and this is not an option. If they can't keep an appointment just to give an estimate, why would I want to trust them with a 10,000 project?

Had a few small plumbing projects to fix so I contacted Handyman Matters and was scheduled for service the next day. Jason arrived on schedule and was able to fix the small projects and give suggestions on a few other projects that needed attention. Will use again.

They guy came in to look at the project and would send me a quote. They never sent me the quote. The guy who came out never bother to call me to see if I got the quote.

Excellent, saved me several hundred dollars because he repaired the bad door I thought I would have to replace, every project I gave him was finished in a manner that exceeded my expectations.
