Appt confirmed, good communication, all but one fan installed, told me what parts to buy for 3rd fan.

This is my second review on Mark Chambers. He was the professional expert! He came back to finish the job since I had so many items. He was chased by wasps, pelted by rain, and broke his Nail off on our old lock box he still finished the job. Mark is your handyman if you have a hard job!

Rick did an outstanding job. Very professional, very nice. It was a hard job. This is the second fence job done for me by Handyman Matters. I was completely satisfied with the work done.

Phillip Gardner is very personable and did a great job. He arrived early and got to work right away. Can't ask for more.

The work was done quickly and professionally! Mark even helped the cable guy when I went to pick up my son from daycare! You won't regret calling these handymen.

Stephen is a pro. He explained what was needed to accomplish the task and did the work in a timely manner. I will use Handyman Matters again.

I have a barky dog that manages to scare off most people. Phillip Gardner, the craftsman - and trust me, he deserves that label - just took Flash in stride. Plus he did everything I needed with professionalism and so quickly that I was amazed. He not only did a great job at everything, but he gave me some additional insight to things I might want to have done in the future. Because of my schedule, I had to have things done on separate days. Each time Phillip showed up on time and was more than willing to handle something off the cuff (I have occasional brilliant ideas like the wifi doorbell.) I had delayed having things done because I really don't like people in my house. Plus, I had a previous experience with a company that left me feeling a little wary about calling anyone. I have to say that I'm so impressed with Handyman Matters from Brandi in the office to Phillip. I will definitely be calling them in the future.

The wood siding was rotted cram the bottom to approx; 12" up Stephen replaced and painted the new wood. He is very detail oriented and did an excellent job.

He was quick, polite, and professional. Good man.

Stephen did excellent work for our home! He repaired mounting of kitchen cabinet so that it is safe and took the time to insure that the repair looked great as well. We have had a few repairs performed by Stephen over the past months as we have readied our house for sale. He has been a pleasure to work with during a very stressful time. He is reliable and does excellent work in a timely manner. The price is always reasonable and noted up front. I am 100% happy with the results!

Extremely pleased with Handyman and specifically, Marc. Marc is very kind and does a great job. I plan to use Handyman for everything that I can hire them for.

All the work was completed within the timeframe we talked about and it all looked great once it was done and things were cleaned up after the work was completed. It was great that Philip took the time to find several touch up spots that needed to be painted as he was repainting the repaired dry wall spots as well. It is so nice to have these things checked off the list.

He was on time, but the phone bid estimate of 2-3 hours turned into an hours of work.

Called them regarding diagnosing and fixing a water leak coming from under the fridge in our rental property. Call was answered promptly, Brandy was great at setting up the appt with our renters and calling us back to let us know when the appt was set for. Repairman went out and was able to fix the water shut off valve, which is what appeared to be leaking. Kept us informed of what was found and what the cost of repair would be. Went ahead and repaired it even when they couldn't get ahole of us, based on my conversation with Brandy; this was appreciated as I could not return their calls while I was at work and we didn't want the job delayed. I was contacted by our renters the next day saying that there was again water coming from under the fridge. I called Brandy and she sent the repairman back out. Now it appeared that the water was coming from a leak in the fridge itself. Brandy called and left a msg with this info and the name and number of an appliance repairman they use. When I called them back the next day to settle the bill Brandy informed me that they didn't charge for the return call, which is appreciated. Overall they are very professional and I would use them again.

Stephen arrived with the supplies for the different jobs and he came with another handy man. Both were professional and courtesy. Their work was excellent, the paver's on the side of house were to store our garbage containers. The work actually reduced the erosion in the area due to rain and improved the function of that side yard area. The front door was weathered and in need of help. We thought the door was going to need replacing, but Stephen checked the door and said it just needed staining. The biggest surprise was the brass door handle. The weather had completely aged the lacquer on the door handle. Stephen was able to strip the aged lacquer, put on a clear coat and the result looked like a new door handle. In fact, I was again admiring the job that was done on our front door. It really improved the curb appeal on the front of our home. Stephen has provided estimates are several other jobs we need completed around the home. He came out another time to repair the caulking on all the windows. The caulking on the windows was not properly done when the house was built in 2005. I am looking forward to seeing a continued drop in our energy bill. I cannot say enough nice things about these folks and their excellent work. Also, the scheduler, Brandi, is excellent and keeps customers up to date on coordination.

They were very flexible in scheduling a day and time that worked for me. The tech that came out, Marc Chambers, was very nice. He worked very quickly and made sure that he got everything done that I needed. Marc also went above and beyond when he helped me check out a "critter issue" (snakes) that was in my front yard. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others.

Went very well. Some modification to the existing door trim was needed but Marc (Chambers) did a superb job. This is not the first time that I've used this company and it won't be the last. Very professional and perform good quality work.

Stephen was polite, thorough, professional, and performed the job according to what was asked for.

I sent a message via Angie's List that I needed a new back exterior door installed before today (Monday) and they were able to send an experienced craftsman out last Friday around 11AM and he worked non-stop and was done around 4:30PM.. He was very friendly, did a stellar job and even painted the door and door trim and my window seals after being able to figure out how to make the new door and door frame fit correctly. I will definitely call them again for anything I need around my home again.

Marc ROX. Prompt, efficient and concerned with tidiness

This is the second time we have used Handyman Matters and both Stephen and Paul were outstanding. We were very pleased with the completed projects on both occasions. This time we had tried replacing the kitchen sprayer and bathroom light/fan ourselves and met with frustration every step of the way. We didn't have the right tools, the parts we bought weren't fitting, etc. Next time we're eliminating the time, expense, and frustration and calling Handyman Matters FIRST. Everyone we have dealt with at Handyman Matters, from the delightful young woman who schedules the projects to the men who complete the work, are polite, thoughtful and very concerned with the customer's satisfaction. Paul arrived on time and went right to work. He looked at each project and figured out how to complete each task. After struggling unsuccessfully to complete our repairs ourselves, I can't tell what a relief it was to hear him say, "No problem, I can do that." And he did at a fraction of what I thought it would cost. I would highly recommend Handyman Matters

In the beginning everything was wonderful the handy men were friendly and we were quoted a price of $70.00 an hour. After the completion of the service the bill was well over estimated as we were told $70.00 an hour. The 1st handyman came and stayed he would need help lifting (this was on a Monday), the handyman and his "helper" returned on a Friday. They did great work I'm not going to deny that when we received the invoice they charged us $140.00 an hour for both men which was once again unknown to us as we were told 70.00 an hour we called to discuss the situation and they dropped the price by $100.00 the reply from the company was this and I am copying and pasting. "Attached is the revised invoice. I have spoken to management regarding the situation. We thank you for giving us a call to discuss and have the opportunity to address accordingly with the craftsman as well as billing. We apologize that the craftsman at initial visit did not clarify what the charges would be for needing additional help in the subfloor replacement and bracing. The second craftsman was not just a helper as in handling and lifting, but needed for craftsmanship knowledge and skill, measurements, cuts, bracing for flooring etc; Which is why the normal rate of $70 was applied. Management has reduced the rate of the second craftsman, removed the service charge and will address communication with customers regarding future work, making sure our staff and the customer are of the same understanding. Again, we thank you for your handling of the situation and contacting our office." After this please make sure they clarify their charges to you.
