Was told to expect an e-mail estimate within 2-3 days from appointment. As of 5:37 P.M (11 days later) we have not received an e-mail or phone call regarding estimates. This is the second Angie's list provider in the past two weeks which has failed to show any follow-up action. No intention of using company

Description of Work: We had some exterior wall rot that required the handyman to replace about 5 ft x 20 ft of siding, and facia boards around a window. In addition an entrance wood railing needed to be rebuilt. The handyman visited our home, calculated dimensions, priced the products needed and gave us an estimate. He returned on the day scheduled, and completed the project. We paid exactly what he estimated.

Description of Work: Fast, friendly service. Our cabinets and door frame look like new.

Description of Work: We had screws coming loose that were holding our shutters to the masonry on our house. These were repaired by a friendly, competent handyman who explained what was going on and how he was fixing it. Extremely good service!

Description of Work: Replaced dry wall material in ceiling of garage due to shifting of house. 2 and 1/2 sheets were required. It took a lot of work to fit the sheets as the rafters had moved making the fit difficult but Jeff fixed the problem and got it done. Very impressive. Since he is moving to Colorado it will be hard to replace him if at all.Very satisfied.

Description of Work: Mine and my neighbor's mailboxes are jointly mounted on a wooden 4 x 4 pole anchored in concrete. The pole was broken off just above ground. In response to my call to Handyman Matters, arrangements were made by them for a handyman to arrive, assess the damage, and repair if time permitted, with an appointment time of 2:00 pm the same day. The handyman, Stephen, called and indicated that he was available a little earlier if I wanted to go for it right away. I therefore met him in short order. He assessed the damage, offered a couple of solutions; we settled on one and he went to work. The job was done in three hours and I have been pleased with the results. Stephen was prompt, professional, and easy to talk with. If this is typical of Handyman Matters, they're the best!

Description of Work: Squirrels had made a hole on the second story roofline allowing them access into the soffit. The wood of the drip board underneath the shingles needed to be replaced and painted. HandyManMatters gave me an estimate the same afternoon I called them and came out the very next day to do the work. They did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Employee replaced our old ceiling fan with a new one we purchased at Lowe's. This was on a 15' slanted ceiling. Excellent service, very experienced employee. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: several doors would not close including front door due to settling; Izzy was there as promised, explained the various solutions and let me choose what I wanted done. Kept time accurately, did great job...will use again in the near future. Also able to give quote on exterior paint job needed.

Description of Work: I first contacted the company on July 27 2009. Had a pleasant phone conversation with Alicia, who identified herself as the 'job schedule' and assured me that the job I needed was something they would be very interested in doing. Alicia asked me to send photos and job description. Two days later, after no response, I contacted her again by phone. I was assured someone would be calling me that very day with a quote. Two days later and another phone call on my part I was promised again someone would be calling me shortly. Needless to say, no one ever called or e-maild me back. I have had the job done by someone else and will not recommend nor try use this company again
