AAA Jesse's House Painting & Remodeling

Superb. The man is an excellent painter. He was also most informative and responsive. I'd use him again in a heartbeat. Based on his performance, I will have the company other non-painting work for me.

First off let me say that I am pretty picky regarding work completed at my home and normally complete all work myself, but the time came where I had more painting to be completed than time available. I found Jesse via Angie's list and he is also the only company I have hired to do work at my home other than landscapers, which is mainly a result of my first comment. i contacted Jesse initially to get my hall and foyer ceiling and walls painted, and also get a quote to paint the exterior of my house and detached garage. Jesse gave me an initial quote for the hall and foyer painting, and also painting the ceilings in 5 large rooms. Jesse was able to have a painter complete the work within 3 days of the initial quote. The painters always covered or masked all furniture, floors, etc before painting and cleaned as they went. My wife and I were surprised about how much better the room looked with fresh flat ceiling paint. My house and garage are limestone block on all four walls, with open eaves and rafter tails. The home is also in the historic district, over 60 years old, and had plenty of old paint caked up on the eaves and rafters. Jesse stated that they would need to color match the exterior color, clean all of the wood with a low pressure sprayer and cleaning solution, remove all of the older peeling paint, fill any cracks or holes, and sand the wood where needed. Also he stated that the house wood need to be hand painted in order to not spray paint on the stone exterior and to help bring out the details in the original exterior woodwork above the front windows. At first I told him that I would not be needing to have the work completed for a few weeks and just needed the hall painted as stated above. Jesse called me a few days after completing the hall and ceiling paint and worked out a deal to start the exterior painting of my house. The work was completed as described in the initial quote in 4 days. Jesse's crew was always on site and working no later than 0830 and Jesse came by several times a day bringing the crew more supplies and inspecting the work. The crew cleaned up before leaving everyday and always put back anything they had to move in order to complete the painting. The exterior of my house and garage now look better than it probably did when the home was new. Will definitely be hiring Jesse again for any future projects.

Jesse and his entire crew were all professional and courteous. They cleaned up each day after completing the job, and at the end of the project walked around the entire home with me. They corrected any defects that were noticed. I plan to use them for future work.

He did . nice job. He was reluctant to caulk with one hour left. Ap.parently he felt it should have been a two man job I had planned.

Provider called we scheduled date for today (Friday) clarified what needed to be painted provider asked me if I had ladders and I replied, you don't provider ladders? I said I have a 6ft and maybe 10ft but may not tall enough for all areas. He said he would bring over a taller ladder. One painter showed up on time with nothing but a paint brush. No ladders, no supplies as deal states minor surface repairs and inexpensive supplies like tape and spackle. I provided the paint, now ladders and also repair supplies. My husband told the worker that the owner said he would supply the ladder, my husband also talked to Jesse on the phone and he said he would bring it by in a couple of hours. The worker said this always happens, he gets sent to homeowners with no supplies. We got our ladders out unlocked the gates introduced ourselves to the worker and he started painting We were nice to him and he was pleasant and ready to start. All was fine I thought, when I received a call from the owner Jesse stating the worker left because he said, that man yelled at him. I said what are you talking about no one yelled at him and he's outside painting right now. I went outside and he was gone. I'm sure the owner told him to leave because the owner didn't like the way my husband (not the man as he referred to my husband) questioned him about his painter showing up with nothing but a brush. My husband also said to Jesse on the phone I heard you tell my wife you would provide the ladder. He said he would refund my money. Just to note Jesse also called me at 8:30 PM Wed night wanting to change my scheduled date to Thursday. I thought that was too late at night to make a business call. Also he states on his profile he is on every jobsite this is false advertising. I paid for a deal that advertised professional painting in one day with inexpensive supplies all the owner had to provide was the paint. I have never had a contractor asked me to supply my tools and professional equipment for them to use that's a liability for them to use someone else's equipment and a professional business owner would/should know this.

They were very meticulous. My neighbor was watching while they worked and he stood out there and called me up to say they did an excellent job. They were professional and courteous. I felt they were reasonable. I had not even asked them to touch up the paint but they did that so everything looks beautiful!

Jesse's was not our cheapest estimate but the quality of work and speed completing the job made the slightly higher price worthwhile. Crew arrived on time every day. Jesse was on hand to cover any worker questions. Excellent attention to detail. Repaired wood trim on some doors. Trim and all aspects of paint job very well done. Job was completed ahead of schedule. Everything cleaned up. Great job. I will use them again and would highly recommend this work.

He never called back and never showed up for appointment.

We were very pleased with all the work Jesse and his team did!! They were professional, knowledgable, always on time and worked hard until each job was complete. We will absolutely use them in the future!!

For 3 days the guys arrived at 8:30 AM as promised and worked until about 4:00. They were professional, friendly, courteous and very hard working. As mentioned above, I extended the job and Jesse willingly accommodated me. I decided I liked the look of the windows without drapes, and they were willing to help me with the installation of blinds. They handled any of my requests with a readiness to comply. I appreciated that they moved all the furniture before painting and returned it when they were done. I am very satisfied with the results and will definitely call on Jesse for any future needs.

2 very polite men showed up around 8:45 or so and started work immediately. They didn't have a tall ladder but fortunately I had an 8' ladder they could use since ceiling was 12' tall. I had most of the furniture out of the room and what I couldn't move, they covered and worked around. They worked steadily all day until about 3:30-4:00 p.m. when they completed the job. Room looked very good and trim looked good. I am unsure if they sanded the trim first or just painted as I was in and out during the afternoon. Unfortunately I am farsighted and didn't notice small marks of trim paint on the floor. Jesse volunteered right away to send them back to do so. However, I will try to clean up myself due to my work schedule. If I can't, he said he would send them to clean up.

Great. This is the second time I've used Jesse and I'll probaly use him again this summer at my home. I trust Jesse. He can provide great suggestions and ideas. His crew is very professional and trustworthy. We had some bad luck in that we discovered a disintegrating shower pan in an upstairs bathroom and a short in an electrical circuit. Jesse was able to tweek the job to include retiling the shower and troubleshooting the short. These were not included in the original scope of work. Jesse was also able to accommodate our schedule even when we needed the job done quickly.

This company was excellent! We purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for 2 painters for the day. This was an incredible price. We were surprised the company would work on Good Friday - trust me this is an anomaly for San Antonio, TX. They were on time, diligent and worked top to the last minute. I was impressed with their professionalism, politeness and for cleaning-up after they were through. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for painting projects.

Pedro and Paul arrived on time and started working immediately. They are clean and neat painters. They are both excellent painters and accomplished far more than I thought they would in one 8 hour day of painting. They were both pleasant and hard working individuals.

They did a very good job, I am pleased.

It didn't go... Sporadic attempts to coordinate a time to deliver paid for service. Last telephone conversation, service provider indicated 30 years length of service in this area led him to believe I customer would not be happy with his services and that he could not indicate how much painting could be accomplished by two individuals in eight hours. This 30 year experienced estimate was done without one question asked as to what size the rooms were or how many of them. Totally unprofessional approach to a job that was prepaid. Service provider opted to return payment but has yet to do so. Calling BBB to report both Jessie's House Painting & Remodeling.

One experienced person came and painted much of the inside trim and cabinets in my home. He came prepared and his work was very neat, clean, timely, and professional. I felt at ease with this person and he was an excellent painter. He left no drips or puddles and caulked where necessary. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend Leo.

Jesse and everyone I came in contact with as a result of AAA Jesse's Remodeling was attentive and performed quality work. The house was in desperate need of work, on top of the painting and the patio cover I was told that the roof needed to be replaced and since the patio cover needed to be shingled anyway, I went ahead and completed that work as well. In addition to the planned work we reinforced an existing car port, which was placing too much stress on the frame of the house. Jesse and his team went back during my final walk through and addressed small touch up's without blinking an eye, he was definitely worth the money.

I inquired about a promotion this company advertises on Angie's List, $350/all day painting. Within a couple of seconds the owner starts to ask me how big the job is and insinuated my job wasn't big enough for him. Having minimum jobs is fine, but not keen on the misleading advertising. Reflects badly on Angie's List as much as the provider. Anyways, my 2cents.

Job went very well. Excellent quality. Prompt response time. Jesse and his crew were very knowledgeable. They kept the job site very clean and tidy. Did everything he agreed to and more. My only slight complaint was that there were a few days when they did not come to work. It may have been due to the weather, but we should have received a call. To be fair, I could have called him, too.

My husband and I have contacted AAA Jesse's twice now and have been disappointed both times. In August, I contacted Jesse about his Angie's List deal - Contractor for a week for $800.00. Since my husband and I are moving into a new house and are going to rent our old one, we have SEVERAL jobs that need doing. I asked him if he was able to do the items we needed, and he asked me to call him. I did. Almost immediately, he started telling me that he was really busy right now, so he didn't think he could do the work. I thanked him and hung up - confused as to why he would offer a deal if he was "too busy" to honor the deal. A month later, my husband and I needed someone to paint the inside of our 1690 sf home, and I saw that he had another deal on Angie's List - 2 interior painters for 8 hours each for $350.00. Thinking that this may be what we needed, I decided to let the handyman incident go, and after reading several glowing reviews, decided to contact him about this deal. I knew that interior painting for our home would run closer to $2000, but I wasn't sure if maybe his deal might meet my needs (and I could save quite a bit of money). I emailed him and still have not had a response. In the meantime, we have had 3 other painting/contracting companies contact us, come to the house to give estimates, and the company we ultimately chose will start work tomorrow. I guess Jesse's still "busy."

The worker arrived promptly and got right to work. He didn't take breaks longer than 5-10 minutes. He asked me questions along the way which made me feel like I was getting the job done the way I wanted it done.

Loved Jesse and his crew. He did what he said he'd do, and when he said he'd do it. His workers showed up every morning on time and worked all day. They cleaned up the yard and work areas before they left, and took care to lock up as well. These months later, the house looks as fresh as the day they finished the work.

Reasonable price, timely execution, and excellent results were the experience with this group. Once the estimate was received and the job was initiated, all workers were present at the pre-coordinated dates and times. The entire job was actually finished earlier than projected. All members were extremely professional, diligent, and very courteous. Even though the work was performed in an expeditious manner, no shortcuts were taken. All materials utilized were top quality and all workmanship was top-notch. Jesse's extensive experience in the construction field is apparently evident with his selection of building components and his meticulous nature on how they are being assembled. Great thanks to Jesse and his team for a job well done!!
