AAA Jesse's House Painting & Remodeling

They did very good. When they cleaned their brushes on my grass, they killed my grass. Exterior paint is oil based so they need to wash their brushes, not clean them on my grass. Their price was good, and they had a good rating. I was satisfied with the overall result. We had to wait until the middle of June to get the painting done because of all the rain we had. They always answered me very quickly. I would use them again.

Jesse's crew did an excellent job! First, they chemical washed the outside (pressure washing would be dangerous to window seals). Then they caulked & sanded as needed & supplied 2 coats of paint. They were completely professional; started when they said; finished efficiently; and cleaned up after themselves. I would DEFINITELY hire his company again. Thank you Jesse!

Numerous delays on our part as we waited to put our home on the market; Jesse was very accommodating and didn't protest. He sent Joel out for two days; this covered a bathroom and dining room, with full color changes to both. Joel did a terrific job with both rooms--trim and walls were flawless!

BIG MISTAKE!!! * He patched over rotten boards *Painted the color he wanted and NOT the one I chose *Sold me one paint BRAND but painted with another * Didn't clean up and spilled paint on my roof I don't want anything more or anything less than what I paid for: JUDGE for your self see attached pics. I didn't hire him to just "patch" rotten boards, if I wanted that I could of done that MYSELF! I've tried to resolve this issue with him before I wrote this REVIEW he said have your husband call me; BTW I hired him, I paid him. **** I must warn MR. Perez before he responds with lies I have ALL the TEXTS and I will post them here if you say anything that's FALSE.

I contacted Jesse Perez and he sent a crew out on the day we agreed on and completed the job on one day, two-coats, brush/roller applied. His brother Leo was the crew chief and was extremely good at his job. They washed the whole house, top and bottom with a water-bleach solution (house is white/grey trim),the day before they did the painting. On the day of painting a crew of Leo and three others arrived at 8am and were done by 6pm. Great job and great experience.

Excellent work. Jesse was very responsive, and was able to show up within just a day or two of me contacting him and get the painting. The price for a two-story exterior job plus fixing anything along the way was very fair. His crew was professional, and they paid attention to detail.

He wouldn't get off my back and was clearly desperate for business. He quoted me approximately $5000. I declined, telling him that I was still trying to get estimates. I finally agreed to hire him when he brought his prices down to approximately $4000. I scheduled him for September, which he agreed to, saying that he would do the job once he finished the job he was currently working on. However, once he finished, he said that he couldn't do my job for the price that he had quoted me, saying that it was supposed to cost $9000 instead of $4400. All the other estimates I received from other companies said the cost of the job was around $4000- $5000. I finally got the job done months later with a different company who had charged me less than $3000. What really bothered me was that Jesse changed his mind after he got a better offer. I really thought he would have done a great job had he kept his word and completed my bid.

Jesse and his crew are consummate professionals. They are on time, thorough and have immaculate attention to detail! They went above and beyond completing touches to the job I hadn't even noticed needed to be done. Book far ahead, as folks like this are hard to find! Would use them for any job again in a heartbeat. RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND, RECOMMEND!!

I purchased the advertised special of 2 days of painting for $399 on January 10, 2016. I immediately received a message from Jesse via Angie’s list stating that he was booked until March, so he wanted to refund my money. I replied to his message that March worked great for us. I did not receive a reply. The weeks came and went, and I started to get nervous about the purchase. Since I had not received a reply to my previous message, I reached out to Jesse again on February 15, 2016. He replied that he would call the following day, which he did. When I answered his call, the first thing he said was that all of the other “specials” had already been fulfilled and he was no longer offing the special price. I mentioned that I had already paid for the service, so I would like to have the work completed. Over the next several minutes, Jesse explained to me the limitations to the offer, no furniture moving, the area needed to be prepped, the painting could not include kitchens, or any type of special treatments. I got the impression that he was trying to discourage me from proceeding. After listening to all of the restrictions, I explained that I just wanted to have two rooms painted. I also mentioned that I would like to have an additional job quoted. He agreed to quote the additional job, and sent someone the next day. The gentleman that Jesse sent arrived on time and was friendly. The problem was that he spoke absolutely no English. None. I know a few words of Spanish, but not enough to communicate adequately. After trying to explaining what I wanted, his employee nodded. As he was leaving he stated that Jesse would call me. I assumed that meant that Jesse would call to give me the estimate since I was unable to communicate with the person he sent to give the quote. I waited for two days and called Jesse. I explained that I was waiting for the quote for the additional job, as well as to set a date to complete the work that I had already paid for. Jesse gave me a quote that was literally 2.5 times the amount of the next highest quote. He explained that his company was booked and that trying to have someone in my area “any time soon” would be difficult. He tried again to refund my money. I explained that I could not afford to have pay someone the full price to paint for 16 hours. I told him again that we could wait, but we wanted to proceed with the advertised special which we already paid for. He said he only ran the deal to get a little business over the winter and did not expect so many people to purchase it. He went on to say that he had customers paying regular prices for bigger jobs. I finally convinced him that I was willing to wait and that I did not want a refund. He finally said he would have someone come between 8 -8:30 on March 14 & 15. For two days prior to the expected painting day, my family and I moved the furniture, washed the walls, filled holes with spackling, and prepped the two rooms as instructed. In addition to prepping the house, I had to pay for my dog to be boarded for the two days that the painter would be in my home. On the morning of the 14th we had our paint, we had our house prepped the only thing missing was the painter. We anxiously awaited; 8:00, 8:30, 9:00 came and went. I called Jesse at 9:15 to see if the painter needed directions. He informed me that he was not sending a painter. He said he was refunding my money instead. I asked why he didn’t called to tell me no one was coming. He said he lost my number. I asked why he didn’t check Angie’s list, he said he couldn’t remember my name. I told him again that I didn’t want a refund. I explained that I had already paid a ton of money to have everything ready for the painting to be done. He offer to “maybe” send someone out the next day or the day after. I told him that I would have to pay additional money for my dog to be boarded etc., but I agreed to him sending someone the next day. I also told him I was disappointed that I had made all of the arrangements for his company to come and they didn’t show up. He then flat out refused to come at all! He told me that since I was already disappointed that I was probably going to write a bad review so there was no point in him wasting time doing the work. I was shocked. After regaining my composer, I explained that I would give an honest review based on the work. He still refused to come. I told him that was a breach of contract. He still refused to come. I told him that I would defiantly write a bad review if he was just not going to show up! He actually offered to DOUBLE MY MONEY BACK if I didn’t write a bad review! I cannot help but wonder how many of the positive reviews on Jesse’s painting are from people that he paid to not say anything bad. I refused his offer, and stated that I just wanted to have the work completed. Jesse hung up on me. My husband called and tried to figure out why Jesse would not complete the work, he offered my husband the same double money back if we didn’t write a bad review. Again, this makes me wonder how authentic the positive reviews are about Jesse’s Painting. My husband refused the offer as well and asked Jesse why we could not just proceed as planned. Jesse said he would refund our money and hung up. It has been almost a month since that call. We have not received a refund. My husband called Jesse again to see what was going on with the refund and he refused to talk to him. I was hoping to be able to settle this quickly and without issue, but it seems Jesse is not willing to do that. I am afraid that we will be forced to take legal action to get our money back. We are still out the cost of boarding our dog, and having the house painted by someone else. No matter how good the deal sounds, I would NEVER recommend AAA Jesse’s House Painting and Remodeling to anyone.

Jesse's crew did a great job. Very professional. Jesse's recommendations for my house were the same as the research I did. He suggested the same paint, caulk and technique(brush or roll) the I wanted. His crew worked fast and finished on time.

All the guys on the crew were friendly and polite and they did a good job - no drips or unwanted spots. There were a couple of spots that needed a touch up and Jesse had no problem sending a crew member back to get those the areas. We have more work we want done in other areas of our home and will ask Jesse to do those as well.

AAA Jesse's House Painting and Remodeling was very professional. They did what they said they would do in a timely fashion. I Completion was much faster than time quoted. Workers were professional,courteous, and helpful. Jesse( OWNER ) was frequently on site to ensure work being performed properly. He also helped in selection of paint colors. We are completely satisfied.

Jesse and his crew did a great job on the house. Worked us in his schedule after another project was delayed. Crew was professional and finished the job in 3 days.

When I originally contacted Jessie's Painting to schedule our project and to discuss particulars, Jessie recommended using an oil-based stain. Since neither the fence, nor the deck railing had ever been stained, an oil-based stain would penetrate the wood better and provide better protection. We purchased the stain from Sherwin Williams and could not be happier with our experience or the quality of the stain. The painter, Jimmy Ybarra, arrived on the morning of 2/3/16, as scheduled, and, after being shown what we wanted, began working on the deck railing. He was very professional, and meticulous about his work. He kept his work area clean and orderly. After finishing the railing, he began the job of staining our fence. Being concerned with wind, he suggested brushing the fence instead of spraying it. Brushing the stain on the fence took longer than we originally anticipated, but the results, in our opinion, were worth it. We have had many compliments from friends and neighbors. I will use Jessie's Painting on our next project and can recommend them with confidence.

Jesse had four men working on the project. They were very professional and did an excellent job including clean up. This company did exactly what they said they would do. I could not be more pleased. I am keeping their card and will use them again.

The work was excellent - Jimmy did an unbelievable amount of painting in the eight hours he was there. He did the walls and the trim in several rooms and a bathroom. Could not have been happier. He cleaned up completely after he was done.

Jimmy was great!! Very professional, arrived right on the dot, got to work and finished in a day! Quality of the work was EXCELLENT (and I've very picky ;-)
