AAA Jesse's House Painting & Remodeling

Large two story home with gutters/down spouts all around. Owner gave me a quote to take down all gutters and haul away, repair rotted wood, power wash and paint the stucco exterior. Crew showed up on time. Project took 3.5 days to complete as was promised. Very pleased with the end result. Would definitely hire again.

Everything turned out great. Chose Jesse from four estimates. He stood out 1st due to his Angie’s List reviews and because HE did the estimate, and HE would be on site and use long term employees. Liked his estimate because it was clear, straight forward in the scope of work to the done and materials to be used - as opposed to bids I thought to be overly detailed.

Wonderful. Jesse is very talented and kind and rolls up his sleeves and works just as hard as everyone else on his crew.

Jesse and I made a appointment May 24 2019 to meet at my home outside of San Antonio.The appt was made for 2:00 pm Tuesday 28, as of three no show or no call by him. I called and he answered and decided he did not want to meet. No call, no show equals F in my book!!

The whole project was completed as well as one could expect. Jesse and his brother Leo were very easy to work with, always explaining the work they were doing, and were always there on site. They and the work crew were very professional and courteous. They began the work very quickly and completed the entire job in less than a week. The quality of the painting and woodwork was very high, and I was entirely pleased with the results. The cost of the project seemed reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done and the quality of the work.

Went great. Crew showed up on time every day. No loud music, cussing, etc. Very nice and professional individuals. Would highly recommend.

Jesse's crew was very professional, friendly, efficient, and punctual. House looks a lot better, and I believe I got more than my money's worth. Payment upon completion, no money down required. They cleaned up well every day. I found a few flakes of old paint on the ground but no big deal. Definitely will hire Jesse again when need arises.

I was very pleased with the final outcome of my home project. Jesse and his crew were on time, respectable, quality work and great communication from start to finish. Also, Jesse is very knowledgeable and provided great ideas to make the project run smoothly. I would definitely hire again.

Not Good Jesse Perez, Owner of Jesse’s Remodeling presented himself as knowledgeable, experienced of performing each job with quality and speed to my husband and myself. Instead Mr. Perez did un-finished & defective sub standard work on my house. Mr. Perez misrepresented his “remodeling” business in totality. Mr. Perez as the owner and contractor of his business performed shoddy and sloppy work, dragged the project, sent inexperienced and lack of common sense workers. The only worthy sub-contractor in this project was the electrician. As to this day, while I’m writing this review, Mr Perez has failed to send the warranty papers on the newly installed A/C unit & windows. We payed Jesse’s Remodeling $90,000.00 as agreed upon. We reside in WA state and are owners of this house in San Antonio. Three trips to San Antonio to check on the house and each time there was the promise that next time we come down the project will be closer to completion, that “he - Mr. Perez is short on personnel , and has too many projects, and is doing the best he can.” When we had had enough with excuses, and approached Mr. Perez, his reply was that my house is too old, nothing can be done to it, and when we told him, that he should not have taken this project, Mr. Perez became verbally abusive, demeaning to women and people in general. We decided to stop working with Jesse’s Remodeling. To this day, I am still trying to get my warranties on windows and A/C heat pump unit. I am focused now on getting a new contractor to correct the mess that Jesse left. - pictures reflect how my house is now, exactly the way he left it. He sliced the door and when I complained he added a 2 x 4, which I call a head concussion, that was his fix. This is not a right contractor for anyone who wants good work

Jesse quickly returned call, was able to stop by same day to give an estimate, the job was done by next day quickly and very professionally. I would highly recommend him and his crew.

I called Jesse after getting a quote to replace wood panels and paint the house from someone that had no reviews or online history to verify their work. Jesse came out to the house in less then 24 hours, gave me a quote 2 hours after that and had workers over the next day to begin working on the project. I was nervous about the other quotes I received as they wanted half down before work began. Jesse stated that the bill is due after all work is completed which was a relief. Overall the whole crew was great, worked Monday to Saturday on my home and addressed all the questions I had. I also learned a lot about the whole process and that although using a sprayer to paint the house maybe cheaper and faster brush painting is the way to go as it will last many years longer then a house that has been sprayed. The house looks brand new again and I cant complain. If you have a house with wood siding Jesse's team will make it look new again. FYI: The photo attached is after the first coat of paint, 2 more came after that one.

Magnificent job. I have had Jesse paint my whole house in the past so I know how wonderful his work is. He always arrives on time, is prepared to do the job with extra men, is professional in every way, has suggestions to do the job the best and always saves me money. I have wanted to resurface my garage floor since we built in 1985. I decided on the epoxy with the colored flakes (which I purchased because of the color). He was here the whole time, wanting me to supervise the amount of flakes on the floor after they sanded, filled cracks, painted and started throwing the flakes. I am thrilled with the results and have enclosed the before and after pictures.

As expected since Jesse and his crew had painted the exterior last summer. Attention to detail and professional are commendable.

Jesse had a talented team and was on site supervising. Work was accomplished quickly, when it was promised, and was excellent. There were no issues. I will hire his company again in the near future for interior painting and remodeling, and have already strongly recommended him to a neighbor.

We are in the process of selling our house and needed the entire interior of our house painted and installation of a kitchen back splash. We also needed the work to start ASAP. I called Jesse and he was very responsive and came out the same day to give me a quote. He understood our situation and was very practical (meaning that he didn't try to sell us on more than what we really needed). His crew showed up in a few days and got the work done efficiently and quickly. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again if we weren't moving out of state. In addition, his price was very reasonable and his work comes with a guarantee.

I would give Jesse and his crew an A+++ if I could. From the time I received an estimate until the work was completed, I was impressed with the professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail which was exhibited. Jesse noted when conducting the estimate that the protective screening behind the gable vents needed replacing as it was very old and brittle. He replaced it with a commercial product which will keep critters from seeking shelter in the attic. The prep work prior to painting was carefully executed which is vital to the paint job lasting. They power washed the house and the pergola, cleaned the roof, replaced some boards that had wood rot, and sanded many areas before hand brushing on the two coats of quality paint. Decorative iron work and some stucco were painted as well as exterior doors. Once they finished the work, the areas around the house were policed by Jesse to be certain that the work was completed to my satisfaction and that the yard was left clean. The end result is beautiful and will last for many years.

Superb job. I had 4 estimates, all from Angies List highly rated painters. I wanted to compare painters who were all A/A+ rated. Jesse came in with the best price by a pretty fair margin in comparison but he was very detailed in what he would do so there was no question as to what the job would entail. The work was outstanding and I looked very hard for problems when going over the work at the end of the day. Took about 3 days. My home has some very high exterior walls. He did the garage door, gutters (took the time to fix and straighten out some of them), wood trim and even stripped and varnished the wood front door. No mess anywhere and this was with 6 guys working at once. Totally professional in every sense of the word. I even worked out a side job to finish my wood pergola in the back that was over the spa because I did not want to finish doing the detailed 2x2 slates. I can't even believe that at one time I thought I could do this myself...lol. Cannot say enough about the quality (hand painted) and some of the areas around and on top of my roof he had to get to. See the pics. Having your entire home painted is never cheap but you want it done right and this job will last for many, many years. If you want a long-term quality job the elastomeric coating is essential and is critical for stucco so don't get bamboozled into a low price latex paint job only.

Jesse and his crew did a great job. They were always on time, completed all items as they agreed two, plus a few items at no extra charge. They started on time and completed the job early. Jesse worked with his crew each day, which helps a great deal.
