It turned out to be a relatively small repair. The fan exhaust hose had come loose from the fan assembly up in the attic of the house. Roland taped it back together and that was that. He spent some time explaining to me what all was involved both before and after. The charge for the work was reasonable and fair.

Prompt scheduling of Level 1 inspection. Would hire again for further chimney inspection.

Roland installed a new stainless steel chase cover. He initially proposed a galvanized steel cover that would have been much cheaper, but I insisted on a cover made from a single sheet of stainless steel. The chimney is four feet by six feet, so this was not an easy job. Roland ordered and installed the chase cover exactly as planned. I would certainly use his company again.

Our chimney was hit by lightning a few weeks earlier. I called AAA Home Services to get a quote on repair. When they answered they immediately acted annoyed that I was calling. After explaining the work I was needed, all she said was ok, that will be $89. I asked, just to come out you want to charge me $89? She said yes, still acting annoyed that she was even talking to me. I then told her, I'm not interested in paying someone just to come out to look at a job that will be several thousands of dollars to fix. The representative then hung up on me. The whole interaction was extremely unprofessional; esp when I was trying to give them business that I already knew would cost several thousands of dollars.

This is the second time we have had AAA come to take care of the Chimney. He is terrific and provided us all the services we needed as well as pictures and documentation to give the buyers. We will definitely call them again if we find a house with a wood burning fireplace!

They were very professional, arrived on time, performed the work requested quickly and accurately. Roland was on time, very professional and super efficient. He quickly got the work done and kept the house and work area so clean - I was amazed. In addition to the cleaning, he identified a few areas that needed to be sealed and did the work on the same trip. I would hire him again in a second.

He didn't do a very good job. He did not fix it and he did not tell me who I could call to go about fixing it. He made a mess on the carpet with ash. The carpet was black. Two people came out. He didn't put the mat down close enough to the brick and he got ash all over. I had to replace the carpet. I did call the owner and left a message. I called three times and never heard back. They were not interested in helping me. I would never use them again.

Just fine, I couldn't stay at the house had to get to work. He just started getting his stuff out and when I returned. The firebox was repaired and no mess or signs of ash or creosote anywhere.

it went very well. the initial inspection and estimate went very well. The estimator told me that someone would call me to set up the actual install. He did set the expectation that it may be scheduled out a couple weeks. The only thing is that they did not call me for a couple weeks and I had to call them instead. Once he realized the delay in getting us scheduled they expedited the process and we were very happy with their installers. good job over all!

The gentleman was very professional. His was very careful not to bring dust into our living area and passed on tips on how we could make improvements to the fireplace to make it safer.

Technician was on time as scheduled. Even sent me a link so I could follow his travels with the Waze app which I thought was original and great. First thing he did after the introductions was to lay down protective covers in the area where he was going to work. That let me know right away that I was dealing with a professional. During the service, he took time to explain the process, every step of the way and let me ask questions. He was very courteous and professional. During the inspection, he noticed items that needed to be replaced. i never felt pressured or got the sense of an up sell. In fact, he took time to explain the issue, show me the problem said the part could be replaced later if necessary. Again, never a large pressure for making a sale. Overall, this was my first time using this company and I was extremely pleased. I will definitely use their services again.
