He was on time, very cordial and performed the service very well. He gave us some solid advice on chimney use. Would definitely use him again.

They arrived 15 minutes early. Very professional. Didn't get my carpet dirty. The owner looked at my home inspection and explained it to me and then fixed the problem (it was an additional charge).

Mr. Perez and his son arrived on time for our appointment and were very conscientious to cover and protect the area around the fireplace. They quickly set up their equipment and began the work. I did not have time to clean out the fireplace prior to their arrival, but they told me it was no problem to clean the old ashes. Our chimney had not been cleaned in a while, so it was very dirty. They did a wonderful job making sure it was clean. While his son was working on the inside with the sweeping equipment, Mr. Perez went up on the roof to check the chimney on the outside. He made a couple of recommendations on some needed corner board replacements, but indicated that everything looked good functionally. They worked quickly and methodically. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again the next time.

Mr. Perez and an assistant arrived early, laid a floor cloth in front of the fireplace, and went right to work. They vacuumed my chimney and the fireplace floor, checked out my gas logs, and inspected the chimney cap. I opted to have a bag of vermiculite and a bag of amber glow added for $55.00, included in the total cost which reflects my Angie's member discount. Exterior inspection of my fireplace indicated shifting on footing of the chimney stack. Mr. Perez recommended having a structural contractor give a more extensive inspection in the future to determine any needed repairs. At the present time, he deemed the fireplace safe to operate, but suggested I keep an eye on the outside masonry for additional cracking. He advised me of the new regulation requiring a damper stop with the installion of new gas logs to prevent lighting a fire with the damper closed. He noted this as a safety feature especially recommended with children and seniors. The additional cost would have been $29 if installed today. I declined at this time. The job was completed to my satisfaction in less than one hour.

Since I got their information off of Angie's list, I qualified for a small discount, which was nice. Both gentlemen were very professional and I will definitely be using this service again, and would recommend them to my friends.

AAA inspected my chimney, which I have never used in the 7 years I've lived in the house. I want to use my fireplace this winter, so I had AAA Home Services inspect the chimney. They told me that it looked fine and that it did not need to be cleaned, which I originally thought I would have to have done. They gave me lots of tips on proper use of the fireplace. I was very pleased with the company's honesty and service.

We had known for over 25yrs that the chimney in my in-laws home was damaged to the extent that building a fire would have been extremely dangerous. Apparently according to the original owner, former renters had started a fire using gasoline. That cracked and damaged the interior chimney tiles due to extreme heat. When it came time to sale the home, the prospective buyers asked for the chimney to be made safe for burning wood as a condition on their buying the home. After Mr Roland Perez of AAA Home Svcs cleaned and did a complete and thorough inspection, he gave us an estimate for repair. The first buyers withdrew their offer and we subsequently asked Mr Perez to hold the repair until we had a new buyer. This was in the very beginning of Sept ,2010. Forward to November 2010, we called Mr Perez to come back and do the repair for us. He came out and rechecked everything to make sure of the projected materials, etc that he would need. We explained that the house would be closing the next week and would he be able to finish the work based on his schedule. Since his schedule was booked, he offered to do the work on Saturday and Sunday. We mentioned up front that we understood if his bid would have to be adjusted since 2+ months had passed since the original estimate. We were pleased with his new estimate and we asked him to take on the job. Roland went beyond what he would be expected to do. Since by then we had moved my wife's parents to the Houston area and no longer occupied the house. Roland worked all weekend to complete the job and certified the fireplace and chimney. We paid by phone with no problems. We believe Mr Roland Perez to be a honest, forthright, honorable, and a man with high integrity. He could have refused the job, but instead gave up his weekend to finish a job for our 87yr old parents. WE would highly recommend his company AAA Home Services to anyone. He deserves to be rated at the top of Angie's List. WE couldn't have asked more out of Mr.Roland Perez and AAA Home Services.

Called for an appointment and was very pleased that I was able to get an appointment right away since it is the peak season for chimney service. Roland and his son were prompt and so nice and courteous. They covered everything so soot would not get all over my belongings and Roland explained to me how to get the best use out of my fireplace. They were true professionals and I won't use anyone else!

Roland responded promptly to my call requesting a bid. Because he had very good reports on Angie's List, I decided to hire him. He and his son were a little late for their appointment, but he called to let me know this ahead of time. They were very efficient and completed their job within the hour. They left everything sparkling clean. They then answered my questions so that I would properly use the fireplace by not combining wood and fire logs; and by not building too big of a fire. They recommended the fireplace be cleaned every 2-3 years.

My whole experience with them was very positive from start to finish. There are no Don'ts, but DO CALL THEM, they are true professonals.

The chimney cap over our chimney had come loose and the sealing mortar material had cracked and pulled away allowing rainwater to leak into the chimney and birds to nest in the resulting space. We called AAA Home services and Roland Perez and his son responded promptly, came out to assess the problem, and measure to determine the needed materials. He quoted a price, gave us an estimate of the time needed to fabricate the new cap, explained how he would attach the new cap, and collected a deposit toward the total cost. He called when the new cap was ready for installation and we agreed on a time which allowed both his scheduled vacation and our family commitments to be completed. He and his son arrived on time, worked steadily, and finished the job in no time, including cleaning up the job site completely. We paid the remainder of the fee and are totally pleased with the work. The price was also a pleasant surprise considering another company's estimate we had received which was more than twice what Roland charged.

Found Roland on Angie's list - called him in the evening and he answered the call. Was very professional and efficient. I described the problem, he told me exactly what was needed for an estimate. I sent over a picture of the chimney cover that was damaged, and the measurements and serial number he requested from our chimney, and he had an estimate to us the next morning for the repair. We ended up being able to use the original cap (saved us money), and Roland came out on the following day (earlier than we expected!) and reinstalled the cap and resealed everything properly. He got it done in a very reasonable time, and was very friendly and professional throughout. He even gave us some tips on maintenance of the fireplace which we appreciated very much. We would definitely call Roland again for chimney repair or sweep, and even referred him to one of our neighbors a few days later when they called us to ask for a ladder to fix their chimney cap that had also blown off in the same storm. We gave our neighbors Roland's info, and saw him out at their house the next day getting it fixed for them. Talk about fast and professional service! And his prices were very reasonable in our opinion for what he did.

They came out promptly. They immediately started working. It was really, really clogged badly. They did excellent work and my dryer works so much better; it's like a new dryer. They really took the time and effort to clean it out. They left us with some tools to maintain it after they cleaned it.

I really liked him. He was so good and he was so nice. He was so professional. He just cleaned everything up. He covered things, he cleaned it up. He was just very nice and very personable. It cost less than what it was supposed to. He gave one estimate and it was less than that. He had said it was going to be 110 and it ended up being less than a 100 and he did more than what any other chimney sweep has ever done. I was shocked watching him. I had one company that was supposedly a professional coming out with a big truck and the hose going from the truck into here and them draping everything. Then I found out their hoses had a leak and I had ash all over my house. He came out and I expected more draping, but all he did was put it down in front of the fireplace and on my rug. He worked and there was no ash flying out of there. He had a steel hand brush that reamed up the chimney but the way he was doing it, the vacuum was sucking it all up before it could get out. He didn't need the draping that the others did. He didn't replace anything. He said everything was fine. The quality of work was excellent. His responsiveness was excellent. I couldn't have asked for anything better. He came earlier, but he called and asked ahead of time. It wasn't a surprise that he came earlier. He was a very personable man. He was very good. We talked over the different things. He gave me some advice and we talked about my dryer vent. I am going to get some stuff and then he is going to come back and take care of that. I would use him big time in the future. I would also recommend him to people. In fact, I already have.

I live in a very old house and the cap had to be specially made. I had actually called them for an inspection and to have a cap put on He was very responsive and he did a good job. It cost more than I had planned on, but he presented me with options and I decided to go with the plan he gave me. This is the first time I've had a fireplace and I have no idea on the price. It comes with a lifetime warranty. He kept me informed and he had to order the stuff because it is an old house. He was extremely punctual, which I very much prize. When he did his inspection, he actually showed me a video of what the inside of my chimney looked like. He is a licensed chimney sweep.

His name was Rolando and I liked him. I got ill and I had to reschedule; then the rain came and he had to reschedule. We worked really well together. Then he said that he would be here between 4-4:30 and he didn't get here until 5:30. I didn't mind having him in my home. He certainly knew what he was doing. Our dryer vent goes out to the roof and all that debris went up on the roof and I thought he was going to go vacuum it, but he kind of swept it. I still have dryer debris all over my yard after three or four weeks. I think he is a hard-working man trying to support his family and he was pleasant. He knew what he was doing, but he left me a mess. I thought it was unprofessional at the very end. I thought the price was quite fair for the time that he was here. A lot of his work was excellent, but in the long run I wasn't pleased. He was responsive.

Roland arrived on time and I discussed some of the problems I had been having with my fireplace. Mainly smoke not going up the chimney flue. He said that the replacement grate I purchased was a better wood grate, but not exactly the right shape for the fireplace. He gave me some tips on how to use the new grate for future use. He then cleaned out the chimney and was finished. I was completely satisfied with the service and his experience with fireplaces.

I called Roland Perez (owner of AAA Home Services) to schedule an appointment. He showed up right on time and quickly got to work. He was very careful to keep things as clean as possible while he was inside the house. He did a good job on both the Chimney Sweep and the Dryer Vent Cleaning; although the dryer vent cleaning left quite a bit of lint on the outside tree branches and on the ground. I would hire AAA Home Services again.

Mr Perez did a great job and left everything clean. I have used this service several times in the last twenty years and will continue to use Mr. Perez.

It went very well. They moved my furniture and were extremely careful about making sure that no soot or debris got on the furniture or the carpeting. Everything was replaced and checked for cleaniness afterwards.

I had originally called another "chimney sweeping" specialist and was told that it would be almost a month before they could get to me. Mr. Perez was apologetic that it would be a week before he could schedule my appointment. He scheduled a specific time to do the work, rather than giving me a 3-4 hour window, and was very prompt. He had an associate with him. Both were very professional, careful to move and/or cover furniture so that it wouldn't get soiled, and careful about letting pets in or out when they had to go outside. I was very pleased with the service and will definitely have AAA back again.

I made an appointment with Roland Perez to inspect our fireplace/chimney, as there were some notations on the "Buyers' Inspection Report" (when we purchased the house a few months ago) that the fireplace may need sealing in some areas. Just prior to our appointed time, Mr. Perez called to let me know he was running ahead of schedule, and asked permission to come a little early. He was prompt, professional, and polite. Mr. Perez read our "Buyers' Inspection Report" and did a visual exam of the area noted on the report. He gave an honest opinion that the fireplace/chimney was in very good, clean condition, and that no work was needed. He adjusted the gas logs and flame, educated me on proper use of the fireplace, and made recommendations for future maintenance and cleaning. Mr. Perez is a former fire-fighter, and he has over 20 years experience with fireplace/chimney maintenance and cleaning. I will definitely call on Mr. Perez in future years for our fireplace inspections & cleanings, and I would highly recommend him to others.
