AAA Home Services Inc and Aaron's Chimney & Dryer Vent Cleaning

I had a phone call the day before confirming the time and on the day of service, I received a call stating they were 30 minutes behind time---that really impressed me, as often 30 minutes to several hours late, is nothing. I definitely will use them again for this and other services they provide.

The gentlemen arrived on time, set up their equipment, and efficiently cleaned the fireplace/chimney in under an hour. My furniture and carpet were protected the entire time and everything was put back to place as soon as they were done. Afterward, I was provided a summary of their findings including how long certain issues could go before being repaired and an approximate price for the repairs for future reference. They were friendly, courteous, respectful of my home/belongings, and did an overall fantastic job. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

They were very good; the owner and his son came out and were prepared for whatever the job required. They laid out carpet protectors so no dust got on my floor and they used a shop vac to clean it out perfectly. The only thing was that the price was supposed to be $99 and then they were going to give me a military discount but they told me after they were done that the fireplace base did not have any sand in it and that the insulation was really old and needed to be replaced. They told me it would cost $100 to put new material in so I told them to go ahead and come back and do it the next day. They checked it after doing it and everything was fine. They had good attitudes and were very friendly and clean. I will use them again in the future.

Roland was early and reasonably priced. He explained where the problem came from. He did a very clean job and no mess was left behind. I will definitely use him again.

Mr. Perez and his son arrived on time. They were very friendly, courteous and professional. They took alot of care to cover things and cleaned up completely when they were finished. Mr. Perez answered any questions I might have and provided me with very useful safety information. I will absolutely use them again.

We used AAA Home Services to sweep our chimney. While the son was in the inside doing the chimney sweep, the father and owner (Mr Roland Perez ) was on the roof inspecting the chimney. Mr Perez told us what work needed to be done on the chimney and backed it up with pictures from his camera. What impressed me was that Mr Perez did not make it seem as if it was something his company had to repair. He told my husband that it was something he (my husband) could do. From looking at all the "stuff" that came out of our chimney, I believe the chimney sweep was a success also. Even though Mr Perez told us about products he sales, he did not present a hard sale. It was more like, " this is what I sale that would be useful to you." When we decided not to buy, we did not get the impression that he was disappointed or upset about our decision. I would definitely use AAA Home Services again and I will tell my friends and neighbors about them as well.

I was pleased enough with them that I would use them again. They were less expensive than another company that I have used.

Excellent service. The owner of the company was there on site. And, while it was not a cheap price for the work done, I felt it was a very fair price for the amount of work and effort required (getting up in the chimney and on the roof). The fellow actually doing all the dirty work was wearing a respirator mask. I feel better when workmen are taking the necessary precautions to be safe. This company does that.

Roland and his son were nice and funny. They took care to place mats and cover items. The work was done quickly and correctly. I expected to have a mess to cleanup when they were finished but then didn't even create a mess.

This was accomplished by two gentlemen who arrived on time, set up their equipment, and completed the cleaning in a professional manner. They took great care to lay down protective padding near the fireplace to the dust, ash, and soot removal was done without messing up the rest of the living area. They employ a very large, commercial size vacuum so be prepared for some noise. They also replaced my gas log pipe (which I needed since it was the original) quickly.They also conducted a chimney inspection. All in all, this company gave me good value service and I would recommend them.

Roland was right on time both days. The jobs were performed quickly and there was no debris left behind. He was very professional and courteous.

I could not be happier with the work Roland and his son did. I was concerned this was going to be a difficult project and Roland did a very professional job in a short amount of time. The price was exactly what was quoted and very reasonable. Roland came to our initial consultation, quoted me a price in writing, and was there a week later at our scheduled time to do the job. Top notch service.

Roland and Zachary arrived and immediately went to work after a brief introduction and humorous banter. Zachary came in first, disconnected the dryer power cord, moved the dryer away from the back of the wall, and removed the vent hose. He plugged in his power blower/vacuum into the vent pipe and started to blow out process. Roland came in and inspected the dryer, demonstrated how to use the dryer filter cleaning tool and explained the entire vent cleaning process. Zachary climbed up to the roof and performed some work up there. Roland completed the inside work, removed the blower, vacuumed the area clean, attached the new replacement vent hose from dryer to vent, plugged the unit back in and ran a short test. Overall the job was well done in, quick succession, and very professional.

When I talked to him about the problem he already knew what was going on. It turned out that the dryer was overheating because of the exhaust vent. He was able to come back and put a special cap on it to keep the birds out. He was very punctual and very quick. He did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. I have used him only once. I would highly recommend him.

Mr. Perez did an outstanding job cleaning the chimney that hadn't been cleaned in years. We agreed on a chimney cap repair since the old was was glued to the top and cemented in. Upon closer inspection a couple of days later, the ceramic chimney flue was cracked and so we opted for a stainless steel flue liner and chimney cap. Overall, Mr. Perez was very professional and flexible as we worked through each issue (cleaning, cap, flue liner). He was courteous, maintained communication and performed quality work at a fair price.

AAA Home Service did a great job! They were easy to deal with in scheduling the appointment. I had difficulty finding a company who would remove the remote control fireplace starter. I was so pleased when AAA Home Service told me "no problem, we can do it". And, they delivered on that promise. They showed up on time and made quick work of cleaning the chimney and dryer vents. They removed the remote starter with no problem. They were very courteous, cleaned up after themselves and were very helpful in making sure I knew how to use the new fireplace setup and how to maintain my dryer vents. I highly recommend their service!

Our experience with AAA Homes Services was a very good one. Mr. Perez arrived as scheduled and went right to work. He cleaned the dryer's vent, which was in much need of cleaning. Then he checked out the stove's vent hood. It turned out the vent's hose was not properly connected so Mr. Perez fixed it. Mr. Perez' depth of experience is very evident and we feel very fortunate to have found him on Angie's List.

Our clothes dryer was not working properly and according to the clothes dryer repairmen, our dryer duct was clogged with lint and needed to be cleaned out, failure to do so could result in a fire. We contacted AAA on Thursday and setup an appointment for the next day. They promptly arrived and cleaned the dryer duct. We also had them clean our chimney as we were not sure if the prior home owner had kept up with a regular chimney cleaning schedule. We were happy with the level of service and professionalism we received and will use them again in the future.

They were prompt and courteous. I will use them again and I will recommend them to other people. I paid a little more but it was worth because I trust him.

He went behind a bush that had thorns, it was a nasty bush and the thorns were two inches long. He crawled back behind that to replace the vent cover that comes out of the wall. He fixed it so it would stay on. He's a great and very, very nice man. His willingness to get the job done stands out. It's like nothing is too difficult and he not over bearing. It's his company and he wants his company to have a good reputation. In certain cases with companies, you get an employee to do work for you who doesn't care how good the work is because it's not their company. He's just a very, very nice guy. From the time you call him and set up the appointment his time is fast depending on your schedule.

Owner Roland Perez called to let me know traffic was bad and he would be a little late. The work was performed without a bit of dust or dirt to be seen. Roland provided very personable and professional service. We have several fireplaces in our home. One of our chimneys was not dirty so we were only charged an inspection fee. Two had cracks in the firebrick and they were repaired on the spot. I highly recommend this company and will use them again without hesitation.
