AAA Home Services Inc and Aaron's Chimney & Dryer Vent Cleaning

I chose AAA Home Services after calling several companies in town trying to find out about cleaning my house's dryer vents. A bird had made a nest in one of the vents and our new dryer was complaining and beeping about "Check Vent" over and over. I set up the appointment with Jennifer who was very nice and professional and informative. Other companies I called really lacked in this area. Roland called at my appoinment time apologizing for a flat tire. But he arrived 30 min later, I appreciated the call and explanation. Roland quickly and professionally set up his equipment. The dryer vent was scrubbed out and a huge bird nest was blown out. That's what my dryer was screaming about!! Roland cleaned up the bird nest and he also gave me a great deal on a bird guard for my vent. It was all done quickly and professionally and no mess was left behind. Roland was friendly and intelligent and explained the process completely. I am very satisfied!

Came out, got right to work, fully cleaned entire chimney area. Left no mess. Inspected the roof area and informed of needed potential repairs for the future.

Have lived in a 30yr old house for 5 years and love to use the fireplace when I can. Also my box style chimney had wood rotting and a hole on the side up on the roof. After googling and youtubing I decided to hire a professional service and felt I had an idea of what it would cost and what needed to be done. So.....who to hire? Stab in the dark! Had a bad experience with the Fireplace Dr. just trying to schedule an appointment they could keep. So I joined Angie's List. Picked AAA HomeServices. Made the appointment on Wednesday for the following Monday between 2:30 and 3:00 Showed up at 2pm and called from outside to apologize for being early and asked if I would like them to come back later. Invited Mr Perez in and let him get to work with his son. Quick, efficient, no mess. Fireplace was very dirty and needed some caulking work done on the inside. Owner explained that I could do it myself easy enough or they could do it for X number of dollars. I let them do it. He then wrote up an estimate for totally replacing the chimney on the roof. Estimate fell midpoint in the information I had gotten off of the web. I accepted the bid and scheduled the work to commence asap. Was completed on Wednesday. And replaced with HardiPlank siding that never rots. Just in time for a major rain and cold front on Friday. Although it was not as bad as I thought it would be the chimney was in sorry shape. Just a matter of time before the moisture got into the house and caused some really major damage. The folks that did the actual construction work were very professional, early as well to begin the work and knocked it out in about 8 hours. Mr Perez came out the next day and inspected the work and collected my check. All in all a very good experience with all the workers. Highly recommended!

Roland and his son showed up on time when they said they would. He introduced himself and his son and was very professional and courteous throughout the service. Roland inspected my chimney and reported that I had a leak due to rotten siding and recommended that I have it repaired. My chimney and fireplace was nice and clean and they were in and out in no time, without a trace. The cost was reasonable and I will use his services again in the future.

Excellent from start to finish. Roland Perez and his apprentice Zachariah showed up right on time. They spread out protective cloth over our entryway and carpets and went to work. Roland informed me that our second chimney (which we have used very little) didn't need cleaning, which I was glad to hear. They cleaned the main chimney and fireplace very thoroughly, taking great care to collect all soot and ashes. Roland also went up on the roof and inspected the exterior and spark arrestors of both chimneys. The price was right, and I couldn't have asked for better service. I will definitely use them again.

Mr. Perez came to the door at exactly 9 a.m. He introduced himself, his apprentice and his son. Mr. Perez did an internal visual inspection of our fireplace and gave us an estimate after we asked. His son, Zachary, set up the cleaning equipment along with drop cloths to keep the area clean and began cleaning the inside of the fireplace. Mr. Perez went outside and up on the roof to inspect the chimney, crown and cap. There was an area that needed to be caulked. Roland took a picture and came down to show us. We agreed that it needed to be caulked and it was done for an additional fee. Zachary found a nail and large bolt inside the gas log lighter valve switch and called his father for assistance after he was unable to remove them. Roland was able to extract them. Zachary cleaned up, gathered the equipment and took it out to their trailer while Roland wrote out the bill. Roland came back in and explained each detail of the bill, we paid him and asked for some extra business cards. Mr. Perez, Zachary and their apprentice were all very personable, friendly and respectful. They took a little less than an hour and kept everything neat and tidy.

He picked it up no charge, and brought it back in great condition. He did an excellent job. We would definitely use him in the future and recommend him.

Prompt scheduling with friendly service. Came on time, did a thorough job of cleaning our lines and even cleaned up and blew the lint outside. Highly recommend!!

Roland is a true professional. He returned my call promptly, gave me a price over the phone, and I was able to schedule the cleaning within 2 days. He arrived promptly, introduced himself and explained that the machine was be a little noisy, though it really wasn't.He went about his work rapidly and did a thorough cleaning of my dryer vents. We had not had this done in years. He was very careful to clean up the lint that he had unblocked to the greatest extent possible. I would highly recommend him and we are going to have this done each year.

Company actually called three hours prior to appointment to say another appointment cancelled. They asked to see if they could come earlier since they were already in the area. We agreed. They arrived 30 minutes later. They inspected and cleaned out the chimney and fireplace. We had birds making nests inside the chimney. They cleaned the entire chimney, found a small place within the firebox that needed to be repaired which they took care of. Because of the man's experience, he was familiar with homes in the area and was able to bring the proper chimney cap with him and installed on the spot. He oiled up the flue because of rust due to rain getting down chimney. Advised us on the gas logs and their age, recommending that although they were fine, they were getting to an age that we may want to look at replacing sometime down the road. All in all, they were very kind, providing the foresight for things to be prepared for down the road. That is the type of service that a good friend gives you - more than you asked for. We will not hesitate to contact them again for any needs relating to our fireplace and chimney. We loved them!

Our appointment time was 11:30, so I was impressed when they were ready to work at 11:15. While showing him around, he immediately recognized that our gas pipe, grate, and pan were not appropriate for a wood burning fireplace. They were set up by the previous owners for gas logs. The next fireplace contained the proper equipment (it contained gas logs), but there were too many logs. Many of the logs were broken and placed in the bottom. Also, the lava rock was mixed up with the 'glowing ember' and none of it had sand. All of these things were what made our fire look 'not right.' We had no idea our sellers had left things in such disrepair. The dryer vent, located on the second floor required some investigative work to find. They checked attics, etc. and found it. Cleaned it beautifully. Both fireplaces were swept. He replaced the gas line on the wood burning one. The gas log fireplace was completely cleaned out and reset with the sand, rock, 'burning embers.' They cleaned up meticulously. Amazing company. I highly recommend.

From the first phone call to the completed work, the experience could not have been more satisfactory. Rolando and his wife who operate the business were pleasant and helpful. His son came to work with his dad to finish the work and both worked hard to assure that the project was done professionally. I will most certainly use this company again.

Roland and his son did an amazing job. They were both very professional in their work and friendly in their demeanor. They worked quickly and efficiently and were finished in less than an hour. Roland was honest and told me that because our dryer hose was so short he would only charge us half of the regular vent cleaning rate. He replaced both the hose and clamp as well. They were very tidy and took care not to get the carpet, furniture or kitchen floor dirty. We will definitely be using their services again and will no hesitate to recommend them to others in need of chimney or dryer cleaning services

The owner was professional and friendly. He discounted the jobs since there was more than one and we did all the jobs at one time. We had an extra thing for him we wanted to be done (install of gas logs) which wasn't on the original request but he did it gratiously and made time for us My husband was extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and the time in which it was done!!

Contact this business if you want a more than fair price and for the most honest person to work on your chimney and or dryer vent! They are awesome and we are now committed customers to them from here on!

Originally contacted him when we bought the home to chimney and dryer vent cleaning. I showed us that the chimney was disconnected and gave us an estimate of between $500-700 dollars. We contacted nine other companies (all but one from Angie's List). After three months we contacted AAA Home Services again and asked for a current estimate, which he provided the next day ($675). He showed up on the day and time he said that he would. The job was finished in about three hours and for the agreed amount. We're very pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism and will continue to use and recommend AAA Home Services.

Very excellent service. They told me the fireplace was called a "Hollywood" fireplace from the late 60s early 70s. They went onto the roof to check the condition of the flue and whether it was properly vented. they said everything was fine and proceed to sweep the freestanding flue very carefully with specialized equipment. They were very neat and clean and took care to avoid dirt and dust from coming into the room. The price was actually less than they had quoted me over the phone because it was not as difficult to clean as they thought. They were generous with their knowledge and advise. I would highly recommend this company. My only complaint is simply that they used some kind of deodorizer that seemed part of the blower/vacuum system, probably to keep other worse odors down. It was kind of a sweet smell that took several days to dissipate. It might not bother other people but it would have been good to know about it ahead of time, in case I had planned to entertain or have a dinner party the same day.
