AAA Home Services Inc and Aaron's Chimney & Dryer Vent Cleaning

I bought my house December 2012, and got the chimney cleaned/inspected by a 'BIG DEAL' Angie's List...(separately from the home inspection)...they said my chimney was 'good to go'...Then as the rain from Memorial Day 2013 happened, I had WATER RUNNING DOWN MY WALLS around my chimney. Since I thought I had the chimney inspected, I went to roofers...After having 3 roofers up, fixing everything, and on my THIRD MONTH...I figured it 'JUST might be my chimney'... I'm an auditor...an accountant basically...I don't do chimney's, OR roofs...But when I bought a ladder and crawled up around my chimney...I'm thinking 'HOW THE H*** did someone think this CHIMNEY was OK??? I called Roland, and he did a VERY thorough job...and, I realize that my chimney leak may not be fixed, I know Roland will be out in a minute... I do have to say, that for the first time, although it was a 'light rain'...I didn't have water running down my walls... THANK YOU ROLAND!!!

It went very well. They showed up on time, did excellent work. Provided guidance on the fireplace and the correct type of gas logs to use.

We moved in recently and...this is so gross...had roaches in our dryer. We were not sure if they were coming in from outside but a vent cleaning seemed like a good place to start. He came out quickly and was very friendly. He cleaned the vent and also gave me some pointers on sealing up some gaps on the outside of the house that might be letting bugs in. We will definitely be calling again when we are ready to clean our chimney.

The technician was there at 9:00 AM on the dot - so bonus points for punctuality. Very courteous and professional. Dryer vent cleaning only took about 20 minutes. The technician took time to explain what he did and answer questions about other services the company offers. I will definitely be using AAA Home Services again.

This was the second time that I've used AAA Home Services, the first time was about two years ago. Both of my experiences with them have been stellar. They arrived promptly, did the job quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional and I thought they gave me an excellent price for the services performed. I plan on using them again in the future.

We had purchased a foreclosed home and converted it into a rental unit. Shortly after we rented it the tenant called and said the dryer didn't seem to be venting properly. The house had been vacant for several months prior to our purchase so it turned out a bird had made a nest in the vent. AAA came out promptly and fixed the problem. Tenant says they haven't had any more problems with the vent since it was cleaned out.

I called Roland and then sent him pictures of my chimney and old, bent chimney cap and he knew exactly what I needed and gave me a estimate over the phone. He made an appointment for Friday but called to see if he could come on Thursday because he was in the area. He replaced the chimney cap and charged me exactly what he quoted which was much less than other companies had quoted. I was concerned about cracks around the chimney flue that might need to be repaired but he checked and told me no caulking was required. He could have charged me more by doing work that wasn't needed but he didn't. A very honest man.

Called AAA Home Services on Wednesday, made an appointment for the very next day. Roland arrived on time, presented himself in a very friendly yet professional manner. Went straight to work. Worked in the laundry area, and went on the roof to clean the vent. Completed the work in approximatley 30 minutes. Gave a discount for the Angies list member. Prompt, efficient service, at a good price. Couldn't ask for anything more..

I called up Roland on Tuesday to have him come out and clean my chimney and he was here on Wednesday. Right on time, had all the tools he needed and did a great job of addressing all of my concerns and questions. He suggested several repairs, which we knew that we had to do, and made a few simple suggestions on how to get our fireplace to draft better and alleviate the smoke smell. We will definitely use him again!

I was very satisfied with AAA Home Services. They arrived on time, explained what needed to be done to the chimney ( cleaning and patch work). They cleaned the dryer vent and did all work in about an hour. They were very clean, professional and friendly. The owner was excited because he use to service this home for years through previous owners. I did not know this when I chose his company. It was comforting that he has been here before and was familiar with our chimney. We will be needing pest control and I am thinking of calling them back for this service.

I worked primarily with John Ortiz, who was very professional and obviously dedicated to doing the job right for a fair price. To address the raccoon issue, John set two traps, one inside and one outside. These traps were routinely checked until John was sure there was no raccoon in the attic before sealing access. John humanely releases the raccoons to a wildlife rescue preserve. All work was completed as expediently as possible, and John kept me very well informed throughout the process. The quality of wood replacement work was also excellent. I highly recommend AAA Home Services, Inc. Pest Control.

I had noticed my dryer filter was not collecting much lint, and that what it did collect, was kind of to the side of the filter. Checked Angies list for dryer vent company, and chose AAA Home Services. Gave them a call...The lady who answered was very personable, gave me a quote, and made me an appointment for the next day. The crew called an hour or so before the stated appointment to see if they could come out early, which was great. They did a supurb job, were friendly, worked quickly and efficiently. When the vent was cleaned out, they cleaned up any stray pieces of lint that had blown into the yard. The price they charged me was extremely fair, and was exactly what was quoted. This is a very good company...I will definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with Roland, I called him for the chimney sweep and to clean out the dryer vent. He arrived on time, upon arrival inspected the fire place and said, "It does not need to be cleaned" Very honest and informative, he advised me on how much wood to use and suggested I wait till next year to clean it. He proceeded to clean out the dryer vent, instructed me on proper cleaning and offered additional product. Very professional would highly recommend.

I contacted AAA Home Services concerning a problem with the gas logs in our fireplace. Roland and two gentlemen were punctual and professional when they arrived at my home. As they started to service my fireplace they determined that there was actually a gas leak from the line into the fireplace that could not be fixed with a routine cleaning and service. The leak would have to be attended to by a licensed plumber. They asked if I wanted to continue with the service, I declined. They were very considerate, cleaned up what they had started and even recommended a few plumbers who might be able to assist, all at no charge to me. I will definitely contact them in the future for service.

Prompt, professional service. The technician was very knowledgeable of fireplaces. Recommendations were made for proper placement of gas logs. Verification that the fireplace and chimney were clean and safe was provided. Reasonable prices.

I had used AAA Home Services for a Dryer Vent Clean about a month ago and was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of service. My dryer has never worked better! They had made a pitch about their pest services and I went ahead and scheduled a walk through with John. John came by and he and I discussed the areas where i had noticed an increase of bugs. Mainly, after any rain, the fire ants would build dozens of mounds on my lawn and some on the edges of the house, eventually somehow finding their way inside my kitchen. I was fed up with it. We had lived in this house for around 2 years and had started to notice the slow increase in number of critters in corners and under beds and furniture. John mentioned several plans and treatment options. He said they would fit any schedule, monthly, bi monthly, quaterly. I chose quaterly. And he also had the option of using "Green" pesticide, eco friendly. I have an old cat that's been around for years and did not want her to have any averse reactions to chemicals. John came by on a Saturday promptly at the appointed time. He spent about 45 minutes outside spraying. He then came inside and noted that he had cleared out some wasp and black widow nests. Inside he spent about another 30 minutes doing my downstairs and upstairs. Then he also treated the attic space. All in all a great experience and I took about a week to write this review because I wanted to see the results. And yes, there is a noticeable difference in the amount of insects in the corners and the usual places. No more pesky constant spiderwebs in those hard to reach nook and crannies. Even the outside is more in check. Just hanging out in the patio, there are less pesky bugs and flies than before. John Ortiz was professional and friendly and did his job well and the results speak for themselves. I gladly recommended him to all my friends.

Roland had to repair my chimney flue because it was cracked and old. Overall he did a great job and went above and beyond what we expected and ended up finding and repairing some issues that we didn't even know we had. I would recommend him to anyone needing work done on their chimney.
