+ -1 moreThe overall experience was GREAT!!! After our home is finished being built we will be calling back to have them move us again. We have already referred friends. There were 2 workers and they move all furniture from a 3 bedroom home into a indoor storage facility on the second floor in 2 hrs 45min. I was very happy with the service and none of our belongings were damaged. I am a teacher and they even placed my school supplies at the front of the storage unit so I would be able to get to them when school started.
Description of Work: We moved from a house into a storage facility while our new home is being built. The storage facility was only about 5 miles away but they covered all furniture and handled it as if we were moving to another state. The price quoted was within $10 dollars of the total cost at the end of the move.

+ -1 moreI am looking forward to using Mike again, since he has no minimum time to be used, just what's needed. He is very professional and pleasant to be around.
Description of Work: I had used Smooth Move (Mike) before, thanks to Angie's List. Both of the times, I called on short notice. Mike was very accommodating, adjusted his price to the smallness of my job, and came promptly to move my refrigerator and other heavy pieces into my storage container. The job took longer than expected, due to him having to remove the refrigerator door and other complications we hadn't expected. Mike adjusted his price up to cover the extra hour.

+ -1 moreI wish to go back to him. He had to move 8 pieces of furniture which included a bed, mattress etc. He did a nice job. He was friendly, respectful, and resourceful. He had a good attitude. He is available at the last minute. He shows up five minutes before the scheduled time. He charges what he said. He was not pushy at all. He had a baseline charge of $125 but since it was a small job and a single person he charged me $90.
Description of Work: I used AA Smooth Move. There was just this one individual. I spoke to him on Friday, and he came on Sunday. He is the owner of the company, and he did everything alone. I will use him again.

+ -1 moreMike was recommended by a couple of real estate agents in town who had used him for their move. He ws corteous on the phone and answered all of my questions. He was always available by phone, or he would return my calls quickly. Mike showed up on time with one other person to help move. He worked extremely quickly, carefully, and efficiently. Everything went fine. He did need to make two trips to complete the move because not all of our stuff fit in the truck for one trip. So, it took a little longer than I had anticipated because of that. However, he did not charge us for travel time. If you're looking for a careful, quick, economical move, this is the guy to use!
Description of Work: In-town move from the Stone Oak area to the Oak Park/Northwood neighborhood.
