A1 Garage Door Service

A1 was professional. Worked hard and garage door is tuned up and I have a nice new opener

The technician, Joseph V., actually arrived early after calling to see if that was alright. He explained what he would have to do and gave us a written estimate. After he was finished, he gave us a discount so the garage door installation came in under the estimate. Joseph V. seemed to be quite experienced, did a great job, explained the controls to us and cleaned up after himself. I wish that I had done this 35 years go right after I finished framing in the 2 car carport to make a 2 car garage, which we actually needed and used as a secure storage area for my in-law's furniture. The tech, Dean, was professional and courteous. Work was completed in a timely manner. The price was higher than I was told on the phone ($460 for the installation of a garage door opener versus ~$265), but I can’t really expect office personnel to be as well-versed as the service professionals. I would recommend the company and the tech.

The technician was polite and knowledgeable. He completed the work in a timely manner. The telephone customer service is okay. The one thing that is an issue is the availability of technicians. About ten minutes after my garage doors were installed and the technician left, the wall button would not operate the doors. I called A-1 to request for someone to come out and check the newly installed button. They did not have anyone available until next week. Fortunately, the remotes operate the doors with no issue. Just a little frustrated that ten minutes after the installation, no one was able to fix the issue.
