A Best Tree Service

BING, BANG BOOM! Mike's crew showed up, did the job and was done in record time! Can't ask for more than that! Will definately call Mike when ready to take down rest of tree and stump!

Jesus resonded promptly with an estimate which I thought was quite resonable. Two days later, a crew of three arrived at my residence and removed the tree-bushes and chipped the branches, etc. Then the stump was ground to below ground surface. They completed the job is under 3 hours. Very satisfactory.

The canopy of my tree had begun to cover part of my neighbor's roof and needed trimming. I was afraid trimming too much would ruin the shape of the tree. Jesus did a great job "lifting" and trimming. Tree looks fine. Very polite and soft spoken. I asked him to call me at work once he got to my property so I could meet him. He did so and by the time I got home, they were finished and cleaning up. I would recommend him to anyone needing the services he provides.

I called and asked for them to come over for an estimate. They arrived same day after I got off work! We talked about what needs to be done and I was provided an estimate. It was much less than I thought it would be. 'A Best Tree Service' honored the discount on Angieslist as well. After arriving home the next day everything was done. The trees and bushes were trimmed, they even removed some stumps, swept the driveway and back deck, etc. I am deeply satisfied with their work and will use them again. I placed an A for all the categories simply because they deserve an A in each category.

A Best Service accomplished this large task, all in one day. Needless to say: hard-working, knowledgeable, expert tree service. We will definitely use their service again, and would recommend to others.

Jesus and his crew did a great job. He originally scheduled a time to come out for an estimate on the evening of the day we first contacted him. It had gotten dark before he could make it out to our house so he rescheduled us for the next morning. Jesus and his crew arrived exactly on time on the day we had scheduled. They got to work immediately. They trimmed three medium to large trees on our property so the branches wouldn't be hanging down too low on our property or on our neighbor's property. We also had them even out some shrubbery that I had trimmed unevenly. He also removed two small stumps from some old bushes we had previously cut down. One of the slabs on our front yard sidewalk was raised up a little and we thought there was possibly a tree root that was pushing it up. Jesus told us he didn't normally do slab work, but that he and his crew would see what they could do. When they pried up the concrete slab, they found that there was no tree root growing there. They went ahead and leveled the ground underneath until the slab laid flat again. This was very tedious work and it took several tries and heavy lifting to finally get the slab to lay flat again. Jesus did not charge us any extra for this slab work. He just said any tip we wanted to give him would be fair. He only charged us $475 originally for all of the work he and his crew did. Since they did such a great job on the extra work (the concrete slab), I gave them an extra $50 for their work. It seemed that he didn't expect that much extra, but I thought it was well worth it. Our trees and yard look great. He did exactly what we wanted and never complained about the extra work. They arrived on time and did a speedy, professional job. I would certainly hire them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

EXCELLENT. Jesus came the day before and gave us an estimate. The next day he arrived on time ready to get the job done. He was very fast and knew how to get the job done.

Everything went smoothly. Rain altered the scheduled start but that was absolutely no problem and we were thankful for the rain. There were no surprises at all. I asked Jesus to save the oak limbs that would be good for the fireplace and he not only saved them but cut them to proper size and stacked them on our wood pile. Jesus Vivanco is very professional and a very sincere person.

Jesus, the owner, came out in the morning to give me an estimate. After we agreed on a fair price, he and a helper came out at 1:30 p.m. the same day (appointment was set for 1:00) to do the work. Jesus was very polite and he and his assistant did the work in about an hour and fifteen minutes. They did leave and then come back to bring a blower for the leaves in the rain gutter, since this was added after they had started on the job. They cleaned up all the leaves and branches and everything now looks great. I would certainly use them again.

Quick to schedule service, showed up on time, did a good job on our 3 large trees, cleaned up all of the limbs, plus some extras we had accumulated from broken branches.

They showed up when they were supposed to and hauled away the tree. They were reasonably priced.

He was extremely professional and he gave us a good price. He was prompt and the owner oversaw the people that did the work.

They trimmed the trees and they were excellent. They have a great service. They are always punctual and on time.

This was my second time using this company. As usual they did an excellent job and had a very fair price. I was greatly disappointed in the punctuality. I was given an 8:00 AM time on Thursday and had made arrangements with my job to alter my schedule. Jesus showed up and said his equipment was left at the previous job and they would reschedule for 2:00 that afternoon. They were a no show! No phone call either. Very unprofessional. I left several voicemails and text and never received a call back from 2:30 to 9:00 that night. At 8 the next morning he showed up to do the job. His excuse was he had a meeting. My response, you call your customer when you cannot make it. If there is a problem with the dependabiility of his crew, Jesus needs to address this as I had to take back fo references I made to others due to this recent transaction. At least pick up the phone and call your customer. This was just an example of bad business. Unfortunately I had to give what should have been an A rating a C this time.

Jesus and his crew were great to work with on this project. Jesus responded quickly to my request for an estimate which was very reasonable. We scheduled the work for Friday afternoon around 12:00pm. Jesus and his crew were late on Friday afternoon because their morning job lasted longer than they expected. After his co-workers saw the work that was needed they asked if they could reschedule for Monday morning. I didn't have anything planned so I agreed. They showed up Monday morning and worked hard until they completed the job. They did an excellent job of shaping the canopy over my yard. They cleaned up well and hauled everything away at completion. I would use Jesus again to trim my trees.

Jesus was a pleasure to deal with. He responded promptly to my inquiry and gave me a fair price. He and his crew were quick and efficient. He also corrected a miscommunication in a quick and professional manner. Will not hesitate to use again and expect to in the spring. Only thing I would change is to have them clean up the grindings from the stumps.

Individual arrived on time to give me an estimate and said he'd be here the next Thursday morning between 8 & 8:30 am. The price seemed reasonable, so I made the appointment. At 9am on Thursday I called to find out where he was. he said he had me down for between 11 & 11:30 (communication error? I don't think so), but said he could be here about 11 am. At 11:45 he still hadn't arived, so I called, cancelled for that day since I had another appointment and asked if could come the next day. YHe said he could be here at 10 am the next morning. I warned that "third strike" and he was out. Ae arrived at 10:20. Once he got started, the entire job took him only 15 minutes. He took the tree down, grinded the stump, hauled it away and left the area clean and tidy.

A huge tree limb had fallen from a dead tree in the back yard of one of my listings. It fell on the cyclone fence and into the neighbors yard. The sellers had moved out of state, so they asked me to take care of the details and get the best price for them. Jesus, answered his phone on my first call, he went and looked at the tree the next morning due to it was located in La Vernia. He went out, called me with a price. A couple of other tree service companies called me with their estimates and projected time frame for the job. Best Tree service said they could do it that day. The others had to schedule the job for later in the week. Best Tree Service Beat some estimates by as much as half price! The limb fell off of a dead tree. Best Tree Service cut up the limb, took down the tree, cleaned up the area and hauled it all off.

Jesus and his crew did a fabulous job!! They lifted tree canopies and limbs on two acres of land....chipped into mulch as asked and removed shrubs and railroad ties. They were on time both days, always very polite and consistently did a check in to make sure the work was being performed to my liking. He was very honest about how much could be trimmed to not harm the tree and offered suggestions when needed. Would highly recommend their service to others and will definetely utilize them again!

Called him late afternoon; he said he could come that evening and give an estimate. He came when he said he would, gave the estimate, and came the following morning to trim the trees. (His estimate was less than I have paid others in years past.) He and one other man did the trimming and an excellent clean-up. He pointed out that one limb was reaching over a neighbor's roof--something that I had not noticed--and raised all limbs high enough that I will not have to have another trim for several years, he said. I especially appreciated the quick availability, also. He asked me to look at the work to be sure that I was satisfied. He is the one I will call when the trees next need trimming. He no longer accepts credit cards; cash or checks only.

Gave bid and showed up when he promised, did the work timely and very well. Would recommend to anyone.

Jesus and his crew do excellent work. I have had him in the past and will most certainly hire him again. Someone passed by my house a couple of years ago and wanted to know who my tree company is. He asked for the phone number and no doubt called A BEST TREE SERVICE.

The entire experience was very good from start to finish. They were prompt,courteous, and were very concerned that everything was exactly as we expected it to be before they left. The job was completed in one day and we couldn't believe how quickly it was all done! I highly recomend this company and would use their services again! Their price was very good and they even did a few extras that were not even discussed before the day of the work; they just asked while they were working if they spotted something that needed attention and did not add to the final bill. I think this company is what many others should strive to be!

Overall the job was done well,very well. He showed up at the time he had indicated. I did not see him perform his job, but i came home for lunch and he had already finished. I am very pleased,and i will be using his services again. Thank you Angie's List for your services.
