A & H Lawn Service

They did exactly what they said they would do. Were timely, efficient and at a very reasonable price. Since then, we have used them continuously for bi-weekly lawn service, again at a reasonable price. Great service and very professional. We can always count on them.

I contacted A&H, they were quick to respond and come out the following day to look at everything and provide us a quote. Alex came by, my husband showed her what he wanted done and she told him she would contact him later in the day with a quote. Once we received the quote and accepted we scheduled a day for them to come. Work was performed while we were at work and once arriving home we were very pleased with the results. We would definitely use this company again.

A & H did all they promised and for the price they quoted. I think the most important thing that came out of this is they have established Trust with me. I can't always be there to check up on things and it is great to know I have someone who has my back when it comes to my lawn. I know Alexis and her crew are knowledgable and will bring to my attention any problems and will discuss with me different courses of action and will execute, diligently, the one I choose. I will absolutely recommend A & H. They have superior expertise AND customer service. I noticed some commentors noted a lack of communication, or delay in call backs. I experienced NONE of this. I actually think I got "instant" service because one contact info was established I was able to text with Alexis and that is pretty instantanious.

Quick to respond to email, came the next day to offer estimate, was very professional, and had the job finished with her crew in roughly an hour. She also offered tips to keep the weeds down with Bermuda grass, and when that starts growing, I'll be calling for regular service.

For the past few Springs I have had a lawn service come out and do a Spring clean up of the yard. I have never used the same service twice because I have never felt that the job was that great. Next year I will be calling A&H again! Alejandra gave me a prompt estimate. I had 2 others come out and give estimates as well but didn't feel comfortable with them. The estimate seemed high to me but I guess you get what you pay for! The work was done earlier than I expected which is a bonus. They did a very good job of raking up the leaves, even in the rockscape bit of the yard (a huge pain!). The lawn was mowed and trimmed. They left everything neat and tidy; not something that was done in the past by others. Thank you A&H!

Called and made an appt. for 3/8/13 at 10:30. I received a call the same day the appt. was made at 9:00 p.m. saying they needed to cancel the appt. because they do not service my area and apologized. WHAT. Does this company know what they are doing?

Left a message on Sunday, got a call on Monday, the owner showed up an hour later to give me an estimate. I agreed and her crew was there an hour later. They mowed, raked and edged my front yard. Bagged my leaves and grass clippings and left them exactly where I asked them to. It was an awesome experience as usual.

I wasn't home when they were schedulded. I was actually sleeping & didn't hear the bell or phone. Th work was done & I left a check for them that the pcked up the next day. Very professional even though I messed up.

It was great fast prompt professional service and I will continue to use their service.

We called A&H for yard service after researching them on Angie's list. Alexandra came out to our property to review the job and offer an estimate. She asked questions about what we wanted done, and offered suggestions for items we could have them do, or could do ourselves to save money. We were impressed, and we scheduled for their soonest, which was about one week out. She called on the morning of service to adjust their arrival time, which was not a problem. Alexandra supervised a crew of three who made short work of the overgrowth. In about 1.5 hours they had the place looking great. Our neighbors have asked us for this company's phone number. I hope to keep up on the yard mowing, but we expect to use this company several times a year to do a good clean-up. Or we may see if they can put us on their regular rotation.

I never got a call back, from the previous remarks, it looks like that sometimes happens with this firm.

This company is very professional, with great follow-through. Furthermore, on each occasion an estimate is provided before the services are agreed upon, and the prices have always been reasonable. The estimator has been very honest, and has never suggested that work be done unless it is appropriate to the situation. The actual services performed are excellent, especially when considering the reasonableness of the pricing. I will continue to use this company for my lawn and yard maintenance needs.

I left a mesage with A&H Lawn Service on August 13, 2012. Alex contacted me about an hour and a half later and set up a date and time (August 14, 2012 at 11:00am) to come look at my yard give me an estimate. She also explained that it might take at least two oweeks before she could get to the job. I was fine with that. She arrived at 11::00am (8/14/12) the agreed upon time. We discussed what I wanted them to do. Sh provided me with an estimate which considering the condiditon of my yard was MORE than reasonable. She called me on Thursday August 16, 2012 to inform me they would be out August 23, 2012 at 8:30am. This was a week earlier than her first date. I was sooooo happy. They arrived Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 8:30am. It took about 2 to 3 hours. Alex called me outside to see if I was pleased with the work. I was very pleased. Everything looks very good. They did an excellent job. Alex was freindly but very professional. I would definitiely use A & H Services again. D. Ellison

*Update: I used A&H several times for lawn maintenance and tree removal at two residences without issue. However, after the crew left the gate open and lost my 12 year-old greyhound, my relationship with them was strained (RIP Chingy). They did a little more work for me and have now stopped showing up all together.

Alejandra called me in the morning to give me a time estimate just like she said she would. She and her crew were right on time and went right to work. The topsoil is of excellent quality and they applied it just as I requested AND more! I had asked for just the front yard due to $$, but since they had leftover soil, they applied it to the sides of my house as well!!! Alejandra was very professional from the first contact to the completion of the job. I definitely recommend A&H and will use them again.

They do good work. They're dependable, professional, considerate, and respectful.

Returned call the same day on a Sunday. The owner was out the next day for an estimate. The crew was out the same week and performed more work that I requested at a reasonable price. I continue to use this company for my lawn service.

The initial visit was satisfactory. Assumed through multiple conversations and a proposal with the vendor that we were hiring for general maintenance including mowing, edging, clean up and trimming. We wasted a month after finding that they have no interest in maintenance outside of basic mowing and edging. Overall the experience was disappointing because the vendor ended up having a business strategy of spending minimal time with a narrow focus.

Their reliability and promptness on arrival is what stands out to me. I found them on Angie's List and will use them again in the future.

Alex was very prompt in following up with a visit to view the area and to measure for an accurate amount of products needed. She was very professional to deal with, and provided a very good bid for the work. Her crew showed up to do the work as scheduled and worked through each day to complete the job. We were very specific as to how we wanted the job done, and they delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others, nor would I hesitate to use them again.

They are great. I found my new lawn service. I would absolutely use them again.

I needed edging and weeding done of the yard - and the back brick patio. The description says no travel charges and the owner told me she charges from one job to another, which is a travel charge. The description of the vendor said that the vendor definitely services the area, which it does not. She seemed very abrupt and she said that she doesnt have jobs in the area and it would be cheaper for me to get someone locally. She asked me if it was for ongoing maintenance, and I said that would depend on the quality of the job. I would decide after the test run. She said all of that goes into compiling the price, which leads me to believe that this provide ups the price depending on the service and whether or not it has discount applied Just from the conversation - would not use vendor.

Showed up on time, followed all of my instructions (which I gave by email), and did an outstanding job. No reason not to recommend them to other customers.
