+ -1 moreThis was a subcontracted order, without our advance notice. First mover didn't bother to communicate and on Mother's Day, A Affordable came to our rescue. They were prompt, professional and fast. Took a great deal of care in putting blankets over our furniture. This was a two stop move and the second house entailed all items to be brought up to the second floor. They were just wonderful. Good natured, 2 man job. Can't say enough about them. Highly recommend them.
Description of Work: moved furniture from one story house to 2 stop locations, both on opposite sides of the city

+ -1 moreCost was high brcause the company that we hired to move us into storage did such a terrible job. Affordable movers sorted everything out and gave us a great move to our new house.
Description of Work: Beds put together, washing machined hooked up. Broke rwo window panes om china cabinet. Ordered replacements and delivered them within 1 week.

+ -1 moreOverall it went well and items were handled appropriately. They arrived on-time and ready to work. All items were moved to new home in one day. Price was very reasonable compared to market research. Basically I had 3-days notice to move and they were there to handle the big stuff.
Description of Work: Packing of home, moved several miles away. Also stopped by after unloading house items and loaded up items from a 10x10 storage unit

+ -1 moreA Affordable Movers did a good job moving us. They were quick and efficient. We had a lot of stuff to move and they didn't break a thing. I was impressed that nothing came up missing and nothing was scratched at all. They even situated the furniture exactly how we wanted it and put everything in the right rooms.
