A-1 Solar Screen

A 1 Solar Screens was called for an estimate for solar screens for our new house in the hill country. We got an immediate call back and company owner personally made house call the following day. Estimate was provided and payment plan offered by owner selected and approved that same day. Owner had a positive attitude, was very professional, courteous and punctual. He provided a variety of frame styles and screen colors and was very helpful in assisting with selections. Owner calculated 14 days to prepare/order* custom made screens and any other material. Within 10 days from initial visit, owner & son were on premises and installed ALL window screens in one day!! The frames are of good quality, fit to perfect measure and are attached very securely. The screen (we choose level #90) provides shading, privacy and look great (from inside & out)! (SUGGESTION: I recommend a lower (#70 or #80) shading level as the higher the level the less natural light will filter into the house.) In the 8 months we have had the screens, we have experienced rain, constant winds (hill country) and extreme heat. The frames/screens have held up wonderfully to the wind & rain and still look new. The cost of service is more or less that of other estimates provided to us which may sound expensive; however, I cannot begin to express the long term savings (heating/cooling) A 1 solar screens have made. I highly recommend A 1 solar screens!! *One screen (glass back door) had to be ordered. All other screens made by & at A 1.
