Description of Work: Assessed my foundation and cracks in external walls. Took measurements to determine how much change in elevation was in the level of the foundation. Gave me suggestions on things that I could do to help prevent foundation failure. They provided a written evaluation about 3 weeks after the evaluation was complete. Have already implemented two of the suggested fixes that were suggested.

Description of Work: The engineer arrived right on time and after I signed all the legal papers he started his tour around the house. He asked some questions along the way and had me assist in some of the elevation readings around the house. He was very thorough looking in each room and the attic. At the end of the inspection he said it would be a few days to get the report out to me and it would come in my email on a PDF. | |I followed up on the 31st thinking I would have the report by then and it did come on April 2nd. Again the inspector was professional and courteous. I would suggest anyone thinking they need foundation work to invest the $425 in a second opinion.

Description of Work: I was worried about my foundation due to cracks in the foundation, walls, and brick veneer. One of their structural engineers came and inspected everything. My foundation was found to be structurally sound. Saved me at least $40,000 as that was what a foundation repairman said it would probably cost to repair (without even coming out to look at the foundation.)

Description of Work: A-1 Engineering visited my 32 year old home to observe | |for visible signs of structural distress. In their detailed report to me, they discussed the observations for the exterior and the interior. They gave me foundation recommendations with additional recommendations for a |facility maintenance plan. I am now in the process of having a leak detection in the plumbing lines as they recommended.

Description of Work: "I called several times. I left a voice mail twice. Talked with an assistant the third time. The assistant confirmed she had my name and phone number and the engineer would call me back shortly. They never called me back. |At that point I did not move forward with this supplier. Very poor customer service. "
