These guys are a bunch of phonies. Their website and emails are BASED on the premise that they buy back ANY computer for cash. They have an entire webpage describing their Buy Back Program, and how it doesn't matter what the age, brand or condition of the computer is. The email they send says it's GUARANTEED. But, when we took two computers by we were told they only buy them if they were made in 2012 or later. With that philosophy I wouldn't let them TOUCH my computer if I needed repairs or any other service.

to them. I asked the service tech for the number of the owner. He said he didn't have it and the only way he communicated with him was when he came to the store.. I asked him to have the owner call me. He never has and it has be over a month. The gentleman at the Apple store in North Star Mall ran a diagnostic check while I was there. He double checked the battery visually and then showed me where someone had striped the screws because they had not used the proper tool. Apparently there is a special tool for Macs. He said it was the the pad itself that was the problem. The cost was $95.00 and it was ready the next day. I am using the computer to write this review and it works perfectly. Therefore, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH AN APPLE COMPUTER, DO NOT TAKE IT TO 210 GEEKS. Martha Hixon
Description of Work: I had purchased a used MacBook Pro from this company and it worked fine for several months. I began having problems with the responsiveness of the cursor. I took the computer back to 210 Geeks. It took them a week to check it. After several phone calls they said they couldn't get the problem to occur for them. I picked uo the computer, returned home and the problem immediately recurred. I took it back to them and told them that after doing my own research that it might be a swollen battery. Once, again, they kept for a week. They claimed they had called me and left a message. When I asked what number they had called, they had the wrong number. They said that it probably was the battery. By this time, I had lost faith in them and decided to take the computer to Apple in North Star Mall. When I picked up the computer from 210 Geeks, they had lost the mouse that I had taken

I contacted the merchant about an item, computer system, that they had listed on their website. After discussing the computer system being available and agreeing on the price, with a gentleman that stated that he was the manager, I informed him that my wife would be on her way to purchase the system for me, since I was at work. I let him know that she would be there within the hour, but she was coming in from a little outside of San Antonio and had to stop and get the money from the bank. When my wife arrived she requested the manager and let him know that she was there to purchase the system that he and I had discussed and verbally agreed that I would be purchasing. He was helping another customer at the counter who stated to my wife that he was told that if he could get there first, by the same manager, that he would sell it to him. The manager then shook his head in agreement with the customer and pointed to the system that the customer was paying for. My wife asked them if they had any compatible systems that had the same type of things offered around the same price and they made no attempt to accommodate her or apologize for the un-professionalism that they displayed.
Description of Work: Did not follow through on the sale of an item after stating price and availability of item; knowing I was on my way from across town to purchase item, they sold it to another customer.

Our manager was out of the office when the sale occurred and did not inform our salesperson that the item was on hold. We now pull items for the showroom and hold them for our customers for one day. Thank you
