Nick gave me an estimate via E-mail -- I liked that -- he was very responsive to my E-mails. I am a little hard of hearing and E-mails are a more sure fire way of communication for me. We setup an appointment even before the estimate arrived. He is booked forward about 2 months. That way we got on his Schedule. He requested 1/2 of the money two weeks in advance to cover his purchase cost of the flooring and had it delivered to my home about 2 days prior to the crew arriving. I was able to pay him via my online banking. They confirmed they were on schedule and arrived as promised. We agreed to move all of our furniture out of the living room, foyer, dining room and hallway before they arrived. We were ready. It saved us $1.50 per sq. ft. but it was a big job -- but I would not have wanted anyone else to handle this personal job. They arrived everyday at about 9 AM and worked until the job was done. Some days early, others they stayed late to stay on schedule. They were done in a week. The floor looks great.. They installed a new shoe molding and we sanded it to match the baseboard and painted it. It looks great against the flooring. They rolled the carpet up for me and put it on my trailer. It was only 2 years old and was like new. We took it to our son for installation in his playroom. They hauled off all of the construction debris each day and swept up and left a tidy job site. The project was A-number one in my book. I am a retired Engineer and I know good workmanship when I see it. This was a quality job! We settled up with a check and the job was done.
