Ortiz Electrical Contractors

I explained in detail what work I needed completed and he agreed on the job with an estimate. He never showed up, some communication by text, but after 2 days past the date he said he would be completing the work, i gave up. This is so typical of contractors these days and the very reason I used Angies List to try to prevent this. His last review was December of 2017, I will pay closer attention in the future to the last review date.

Excellent workmanship. I already bought the fixtures, and needed to hire someone to install them as the space in the attic was too tight for me to be able to do it. I contacted John Ortiz on a Tuesday. On Wednesday he came out to the house, with two workmen, and they installed both fans in four hours the same day. They removed the old fixtures, had to fish wire to both switch boxes, installed the both bathroom fixtures, installed the new switch, and cleaned up any mess. Total cost - $200. John is a Master Electrician, and the men who installed the fixtures were professional, courteous, and did a great job. I will definitely be using John Ortiz in the future for any projects that are beyond my capability to do.

After searching for an electrician for months, I contacted Mr. Ortiz via Angie's List. Not only did he return my call quickly, he met my husband and I the same day to discuss work that needed to be done and put an estimate together. He and his crew quickly got our work done. They were professional, personable, reliable, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this business to anyone and will keep them in mind for any future work we may need done.

I called and received an immediate response by John Ortiz. He came by my house same day, gave estimate and approximate time it would take to have outlet installed. The next morning, he arrived promptly and in under the time he estimated, i had an outlet installed on the wall i wanted. He was extremely courteous, friendly and professional. During our conversation, i learned that he was able to do quite a bit of other work, such as cement work, clearing, etc. I would recommend Ortiz Electrical Contractors (Ortiz Construction) to anyone! I would like to mention that we had asked 2 other contractors to give estimate to do the same thing. One stated he would be unwilling to do the job due to outlet placement and the other stated he would need to break through brick and/or sheet rock. Due to those two previous responses, we had almost given up on trying to have an outlet installed. Thankfully, we went ahead and gave John Ortiz a shot. We were so glad we did!

If he was available, we would definitely use him for all of our electrical needs. He has another job, but came out after that and worked late. Very personable.he should have charged much more for his work!
