Concrete And Asphalt Repair

I hired a man going around town in a white pickup to resurface my driveway, porch and sidewalks. He called himself Jerry Green but asked that I make the check out to Joey Stone. I should not have done so. I did not have to pay him till the work was done and he guaranteed his work for three years. The guarantee was just words. I paid him half the money after he finished and told him I would pay the rest after it dried and I could see what it was going to look like. He got angry. He came back the next day and fixed what he knew I was not going to like. However he did not fix it all. On most of the driveway he put the mixture on so thin that you can see the old concrete through the new layer, also. it brushes and washes away. He told me he would come back to finish the job and never did. Also the material he used said to power wash the concrete before applying and he did not want to. He did go get a power washer after I insisted. He made out like he had been doing this for years but you could tell he knew nothing. And he never did provide a reference even though I asked for one several times. He had many excuses for not providing one His response to letting me see an older application was that he was in Lubbock then. Please learn from my expensive mistake and do not hire someone who comes door to door. I thought I could control the situation by being there but I was wrong when it came to the guarantee. The product he used was a name brand but he did not follow directions. If you have already used this man please seal your driveway.
