They were also asked to straighten the right side of our fence. Rudy assured me I only needed two posts and panels reset to make my fence straight again, but within a couple months, the rest of my fence posts began leaning and falling. Rudy refused to come back and fix the fence he worked on even though I offered to pay him what I felt was fair for, in order to keep this out of court. He told me to do whatever I want.
Description of Work: Rudy was supposed to install cement hardibacker surrounding our garden tub then install tile. When I came home to check on things hours later the hardibacker was still laying across my front yard. They had attempted to bypass this step and slap some plaster over large holes surrounding my tub and stick the tiles on top. This would have caused the tiles to buckle and leak water into the walls, growing mold etc. I asked the technician who had mysteriously replaced him while I was out why he hadn't installed the cement board as requested and he acted like he was instructed not to do so, and he shrugged and said that I did need the cement board installed. I called the office and like the last reviewer stated, I too had to deal with his very rude wife. I told her to get the cement board installed, and that I would need to see if it had actually been installed before proceeding. They did a poor job installing, and I had to ask them to come back and do a lot more caulking to again prevent water leakage into my walls. I finally told them just to stop the project because I felt they were incompetent.

Payless worked in connection with, and was recommended by Frymire. The job took close to a month to complete. There were days when Payless stated they could not get back over and work, leaving my tenant and her 2 year old with a utility room/bath torn up for quite a while. This is the only downstairs bath. Payless informed me when the job was completed, but I soon found out, via my tenant, that some baseboard trim was missing and what was replaced was extremely poor workmanship. I called Payless and was screamed at by the wife, who claimed I just wanted a FREE job. We all argued back and forth for quite a while, with them claiming that someone else must have removed the baseboard/trim and not Payless. They were the only ones installing tile in my condo bath. When I threatened to call Frymire and send them photos, Payless finally sent someone to properly install baseboard trim. I now am dealing with a water damage issue that will cost me over $1,000.00, due to Payless not tightening the washer connection properly when same was reset after the floor was tiled. There has been a slow leak behind the washing machine for months, and has leaked over into the neighboring condo unit, along with the damage in my unit. I contacted Payless about this and we had to revisit the baseboard argument again. Rudy did agree that I could send him my repair estimate and photos. I have photos of all issues and prior to work done in August, 2011.
Description of Work: Reset pedestal sink and anchor in upstairs bath, replace floor in utility/bathroom, remove & reset washer/dryer.
