Robin Construction

He was supposed to start Monday 15 Jul at first it was only supposed to take 3 days to complete. On Sunday 14 Jul he picked up a deposit for 1300.00 as he said that no contractor would use their own money to start a job and he needed it to get started. Monday him and one guy came out and set the posts. He said he would be back the next day first thing in the morning to get started. When I got home from work that evening nothing had been done. I contacted David to ask why hadn't they gotten started with the fence. His reply was that he needed another 750.00 to get the material as it cost more than what he had estimated. I ask him what happen to the 1300 he said he had to go to a check cashing place to cash the check because they would have put a hold on it at his bank. Wednesday came and he brought 85 pickets and put up and that was it not the pickets we had agree upon and left a note on my door that Home depot would be delivering the rest of the pickets the next day. The day came he didn't even show up his one worker was there according to my neighbor and he eventually left with nothing being. I called David and he said that they would be delivering the pickets Friday morning and they would complete the fence. Friday morning cam at 9:30 no Home Depot nor David. I called and left a message for David and him and the one guy pulled up with a few more pickets. I asked him what happen to Home Depot and he said that they had gotten the day wrong so he went and picked up the pickets. At this time he said he would need till Monday and he was going to pulled 3 more of his men from another job to complete my fence and get it stained. They put up about 45 more pickets and left without a word. When I called he said that I had agreed to give him to Monday. I said yes to finishing my fence but not to do 45 mins of work and quit on Friday. Monday came and that's when I had enough of David and crappy work and files a small claim at Rockwall County Courthouse. My neighbor called me about pm to tell me that they had broken her sprinkler system. She went out and told them about it but when I got home it was my sprinkler systems that they had broken and threw up against the house. David never showed up on Monday and his workers had left by the time I got home to the worst fence any respectful contractor would put his name on. The fence had holes in the pickets, the gate was wopsided with a very cheap latch that did not latch. They only put one screw in each of the picket which turn out to be deck screws. The space between the pickets range from 1/4 in up to 2 in the gap from the ground ranged from 1/4 in to almost 9 inches from the ground. He used my neighbors post to attached the fence without their permission. Nails was sticking out of the wood and the screws went through the pickets. We went to court on 10 Oct 2012 and the judge award me my claim and told David that the fence was a very crappy job after looking at the pictures of the fence and he should stick to roofing. I have contacted David a couple of time since the court date to get my money that the judge awarded me. He replied one time that he would get it to me ASAP and did not reply to any of my other emails. So I'm taking him back to court to put a judgement on him for the amount he owe. I have pictures of the work throughout and the finish crappy work that I had to pay another contractor to fix.
