My experience with On Call Plumbing was excellent. Ed went above and beyond to make sure that our plumbing was fixed and our water was back on the same day he came out. We had 3 breaks in our pipes requiring finding the leaks, removing brick from the exterior walls to repair 2 of the breaks, and mortaring all of the bricks back into place. This took 7 hours going until after dark. We greatly appreciated that Ed was determined to complete the entire job that day. He also made sure to put pipe insulation (which the builders did not) on the pipes and added extra insulation inside the exterior wall. The price for all of this work was also much cheaper than expected. Fantastic service.

I am very pleased with the entire project. The quote I was given was less than expected & was also the final cost. The workmen were on time, let me know what they were doing each day & what I needed to do (keep electricity on for them), & cleaned everything up at the end. They also took the removed cast iron pipes away & did very little disruption to my lawn. The work was completed on time & thankfully the weather cooperated. I would highly recommend this company. Also, the inspector was laughing as he left & I took that as a good sign as well.

You can definitely tell which contractors truly want to help people, and which ones just want their money. Joe was very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, informative, and honest. I think many contractors would have taken this opportunity to diagnose thousands of dollars in "needed repairs", but Joe found that I did not have a leak after all. I will definitely hire On Call Plumbing for the next job I need done.

My husband and I bought a house and needed a hydrostatic test on the sewer in order to have a foundation warranty transferred. After having two other plumbers out to our house and getting confusing and conflicting information, as well as shady estimates that left out costs, we finally found On Call Plumbing through a friend's recommendation. Joe came out and was able to ascertain that we did indeed have a leak. He took the time to explain to me how he was able to come to that conclusion and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the process for locating the leak and gave me an upfront, fair, set price (not hourly as the other two plumbers had). I will be recommending them and using them for any future plumbing needs. They are clearly a company with values and integrity.

Went good. Just seemed to be a little over priced.

The people who came out were professional, especially Joe Vickery who did all the testing. Prompt, courteous, willing to discuss the problems in detail. We had the leak test ($175) done before the foundation work and found we had a leak. Also had the gas line test ($450?) done on the first visit to save on the hassle of multiple appointments. This was all at my own expense, as sometimes you can find a leak that is causing the foundation problems, and sometimes your insurance will pay for part of the repairs if caused by the leak. After careful consideration of the facts, and discussion with the owner of On-Call and my foundation repair company, I decided to not to try and use insurance, as I was convinced the chances of getting anything were slim, and would also take a long time to work out, and I wanted this done ASAP. We went ahead with the foundation repair, and afterward, had the plumbers came out to do another test at the foundation companies expense- it was built into the contract. Now the leak was worse. Had to have the plumbers come do an isolation test at our expense - about $500.00- and took most of the day. Found the problem was not where I suspected on an exterior wall where the foundation had sunk quite a bit, but rather was in the interior of the house at the washer drain. Looking back, I now realize this could have contributed to the foundation problem, making the center of the house heave up , or at least not settle with the rest of the house due to drought. Still, I can imagine an independant engineer hired from the insurance company would not likely have ruled in my favor. I'm not hung up on it. Moving forward, we had them come do the repairs ($2450 as I recall), which required jackhammering the foundation in the interior of the home where the utility closet is, and digging to get to the broken coupling about 3' down. It was a fairly large hole! I watched them make the repair, and fill the hole, and replace the concrete. they did an excellent job. Next was another static leak test on the sewer line (included) and all was A-OK. I'm torn on rating the pricing. this was expensive and this is not a discount plumber. their prices are in line with others I spoke with. However, the job as done right, no guesswork, no re-work, no additional charges over what was quoted and excellent communication! That said, it was a lot of money, and nobody wants to be out a lot of money. but I'll go ahead and give an "A" on price based on the overall job and how well it went with them, with zero hassle.

The technician was very polite and friendly. He explained everything he was going to do in detail to check the integrity of the main water lines in the house as well as the sewer drains. At the conclusion of his work, he provided a detailed report that showed no leaks that i can put with the rest of my house records associated with the foundation repairs. I would definitely recommend On Call Plumbing.

Fantastic experience at a time when we were not expecting to have something else to fix once foundation repair was made. The plumber came out and spent about 3 hours for a comprehensive inspection to identify if there was an issue. The scheduling was smooth and once the repair work was made it took exactly how long was estimated, just over a day. I wish though I would have included hauling away the extra “soil” as there was a fair amount of excess dirt that I had to spread around the property. Great service from start to finish.

They were prompt and explained things well. I checked with another plumber. The price was competitive, especially since it required two trips. Both plumbers were knowledgeable and great to deal with. They saved the pipe that was removed for me so I could see the damage and tree roots. At some point, we probably would have had to deal with this down the road on an emergency basis.

On-Call gave us great service on a range of services. Their plumber, Joe, was honest and explained things clearly. I felt like the cost was fair and that the level of service from the plumber and the office was great. We've already recommended On-Call to a family member in need of a plumbing inspection.

We are completely satisfied with the results. The Forman on this project, Jose, communicated with us about each phase of their work and he and his crew completed the job in five days, beginning on a Monday and finishing up by Friday afternoon. We praise them for a task well done and would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone requiring their services.

I didn't know what was needed until the plumber had assessed the situation. He worked and worked to dislodge the drain blockage , then he recommended installation of a cleanout just outside the house. When our house was built almost 60 years ago, building codes didn't require installation of cleanouts, but they are absolutely necessary. For a total cost of about $700, including a $100 "Sunday surcharge," we are completely satisfied with the work that was done. We were afraid the news could have been so much worse.

Joe was very courteous and professional!! I will be using On Call Plumbing in the future.

They showed me a camera where I had breaks in some of the sewer lines and they stayed late on christmas eve to make sure it was done before I had family over.

I contacted On Call Plumbing for an estimate to perform the leak test for my entire house to make sure that the foundation lifting did not create plumbing or sewer breaks. The owner, Barrett Sherman arrived early, but called before coming to make sure it was convenient for me and of course it was great that he could be here earlier. Very courteous, professional and was very thorough in explaining the details of the test that would be done and what was involved. At no time did I ever feel that honesty was an issue when it came to the test performed . The cost for the testing was very competitive based on my quotes received from 3 other plumbing companies. After completing the work in a timely manner, his diagnosis was good in that there were no leaks detected. I have heard about plumbing companies who deceive consumers into thinking that they have a leak (even when there are no leaks) just to get to do the very costly repair work. Barrett Sherman and On Call Plumbing is not one of those companies. Very honest owner and operator and I would highly recommend them for your plumbing service needs as a satisfied consumer. The specialist sent out was named James and he was a very nice young man. He repaired our leak in the sink, the O ring needed be replaced in the pull out shower detachment and he did a great job. He gave me a heads up on what was wrong with our garbage disposal and I really appreciated that information. We are very happy with the service and I would really recommend using them over anyone else.

The experience was very pleasant, and I won't hesitate to call them again.

We had to have major foundation repair because our house had differences in elevation of over 4 inches. The repair involved installing 87 peers and raising the house in some places over six inches. On-Call did the plumbing leak inspection before the foundation repairs were started and after the repairs were completed. All of the people I dealt with at On-Call were professional and courteous. Richard did the pre foundation repair plumbing leak test. I have had this test done before by other companies investigating my foundation so I knew what to expect. Richard did it more quickly than the other people that had been out and determined that everything was not leaking. After the foundation was repaired we knew there would be broken pipes because of how much they had to move the foundation. Joe did the initial leak test and determined there were some bad leaks. He quickly located the major leaks and gave me on estimate of repair cost. I was concerned about how much it was going to be, although I realized the sub foundation leaks are difficult to repair, so I checked with other plumbing companies to make sure their estimate was reasonable. On-Calls estimates were within the range of other companies I checked with. Just to be more comfortable Joe gave me the name of the owner of On-Call. I called Barrett (the owner) to talk about my concerns. He was very nice to me and assured me they would stick to they would do what they could to fix our plumbing and they would do it as quickly as possible. I told them we weren't in a hurry because we were staying in an apartment and had it for another couple of weeks. Even though I gave them plenty of time they still came out on Saturday and Sunday to try to get the repairs done. Jose repaired the major leaks Joe found (which were 10 feet under the foundation from a hole the foundation repair people left) by Monday. Jose was very professional and a hard worker. He did very quality work. Joe came back out to verify that the plumbing was good after Jose finished the repairs. To everyone's dismay, they found that there were two slower leaks further upstream in the plumbing. They could not have predicted the leaks because the original leaks were so large and the video camera could not go where the newly discovered leaks were located. Jose came back out and had to jackhammer through our foundation (the holes had all been sealed by the foundation company by now) in 3 spots and had to dig another 10 feet under each hole to locate the new leaks. He then proceeded to repair those leaks. Barrett stuck to his original estimate and did not charge for all the extra effort. It took them almost 4 extra days full time to find and repair the other leaks. After those repairs, did another leak test and everything checked out. The city of Frisco inspected all five repair location before the foundation was sealed and gave them the green light. Jose did an excellent job repairing the holes in our foundation as well. They gave me a 7 year warranty on all the repairs. Also, Michelle, their receptionist if very friendly and calls back to keep you updated. Their trucks are very professional custom trucks as well. I could not be happier with On-Call. All will use them in the future for plumbing issues. Barrett is an honest man trying to run a good business that helps people when they need it.

On Call Plumbing Company was a very professional experience. From talking to the office personal so I could schedule an appt. for the dirty brown/rose colered water that I was getting in my tubs.She told me that the rose colered water that I was experencing was the first sign of a leaking waterheater or waterheater that is about to go out . I then went to my attic to find that one of my waterheaters were leaking and that the pan that the waterheater was sitting in was about to overflow. The office personal told me how to shut down my waterheaters while she immeditaly dispatched a plumber to my house. The plumber arrived within an hour and started draining my waterheater. I had them replace both of them since there were both 9 years old and in my attic. While replacing my heaters the plumber (richard) found that the drain lines to the waterheater pans were run incorrectly from the oringal installation. Richard re ran both of my waterpan lines with no extra charge. Once they were done they picked up all of their tarps and drop clothes that they had put down to protect my floors . When he brought the bill in he first educated me on what he did and where and how to operate the waterheater and shutoff valves. He also told me how to do preventive maintience on them .My house was left as clean as when they got there. This was a very professional and painless experience.

I would have appreciated it if they would have warned me for some potential expenses. I believe that they misled me intentionally. If I had known that it was going to spend this much money, I wouldn't have done this. They gave me a quote of 1900 initially, but it ended up being 9900 to take care of the leak.

They did not seal them correctly and did not install correctly. They had to come back out three separate times and they still were not working correctly, because they kept backing up. So then we brought them out the fourth time which was on a Sunday, therefore, they said that they had to charge me fifty dollars. I told them I shouldn't have to pay them, but I did because if I wouldn't have, they would have just come out and said what was wrong and wouldn't have done any work. So after paying him, he said that he fixed the problem. Well, once again, it was not fixed so we had to take our services elsewhere.

They are pricey but are well worth it and do a great job. We have needed them in an emergency and they are always there for us. Great service. (He doesn't always use the helpers, only if needed.)
