I'm used Green Carpet Lawns since they were known as Pat's Lawns and it was Pat and a couple of guys with mowers. The company has grown, and are more professional. No more envelope with cash on the doormat. They now bill monthly although you can pre-pay for the season (and get a discount). Prices are competitive to what I see advertised. They communicate well, with when to start the season/ end the season's work. I can count on them coming every week, at pretty much the same time. The lawn looks great (can't help the lack of rain).

They are wonderful at lawn maintenance, but they are horrible at landscaping. I asked them to sod, plant flowers, fertilize and do weed control. They started doing the landscaping on May 5. They were scheduled to cut the lawn but did not show up on that day and were not there for another couple of days. I called and they were having problems with vehicles but had never let me know that they would not be there on the scheduled day. I asked them to plant some flowers and mulch. Mulch was spread from the flower beds all throughout the yard. I called them back to resolve the problem, and they apologized and they did come back and fix everything. I needed to lay some sod in the backyard and level a bump that had been left after some underground electrical work was done. They laid the sod down on the hump and did not clean anything up after doing the work, even though it was agreed that part of the job was to clean up all the debris in the yard. They completed fertilization and weed control, but it did not work. It took my husband and I two days to correct their mistake with the sod and leveling of the ground. They sent me the invoice for $449.78, I paid $200 and they called back very upset with me. I responded that I had been depending on them for lawn service as well as the landscaping, and I did give them another $100. They threatened to take me to court for the rest of the invoice.
