Excellent experience. I sent a request through e-mail on Sunday April 11th and Mr. Hart called me the next morning and was able to visit that afternoon and provide his estimate. Of the three companies that I contacted, he was the only one to make a follow-up call, I felt that he cared about his customers and genuinely wants you to be happy and satisfied with the work. Should we have any questions following our first rainstorm I feel confident that they will be addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Joe came out did an estimate and inspection. Set a date, called day before. Joe and his partner showed up on time. They professionally and efficiently did the work. While on roof area found another area also sealed it. Took them about 4 hours. Work was done well for a fair price. We thought animals were gone before entry sealed. Unfortunately they weren't. Not Contractors fault. We started hearing more noise from attic than before. We called 911Wildlife 214 368 5911 (see my report) Robert found evidence of a possum in the attic. He did an inspection gave us ideas for Free on how to get possum out. They worked. My suggestion: If you have Critters in Attic call 911Wildlife first to get rid of them. Then call Joe at Apthorp to close up entry points.

Excellent. He took great care right from the first onsite. We could tell he was very professional and really knew his job. He made good suggestions to us and discussed everything in detail before beginning. He painted the 1x2 backing in his shop to match the gutters and so arrived on the job ready to go. We just kept having rain delays before getting started. It is more difficult to work on a low profile roof with big overhangs (ours droops a bit) but he did a wonderful job. The job took about half a day. The house looks more solid now with the addition of the gutters. They are an attractive visual, and after last night's rainstorm, I can tell you they make a big difference. The front and back porches stay dry, and we are really happy with the results. A great upgrade for the house.

Joseph came to my house as soon as I called and did a very good temporary repair, at no charge, with the understanding that I would pay for the temporary repair if I later rejected the proposal to do the rest of the work. He seemed very professional, so I chose him to do the rest of the work. It was a while before he could get the rest of the work done due to scheduling other work, but we agreed ahead of time that this was OK. It was acceptable because of the quality of the temporary repairs, and also because I was traveling overseas for a few weeks. When I returned, the repairs had been done, I inspected them, and paid. While working on my house, my next door neighbor met him and also asked for his number--he also was impressed.

Went great. Joe was working single-handed that day (Saturday), but that didn't seem to slow him down. He's a pro. He arrived at about 10a and worked continuously until the job was done (about 430p). The process involved pulling down what was left of the old, cruddy plastic gutters, fabricating the new seamless gutters and wedges (the fascia board on my house angles in), and installing them along with four diverters placed at strategic points on the roof. The gutters look good, and thanks to the rain that we have gotten over the past few days, I can attest to the fact that they work just fine.

The experience was positive. They showed up on time. I don t usually have contractors show up when they say they will but they were on time both times. They completed the job when they said they would. They were also neat and clean.

Joseph came to give us an estimate, and his was better than the other three we had received. He was very professional, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He made some really good suggestions that we followed. Because we were painting the exterior of our house at the same time, Joseph had to work around our schedule. He and his crew showed up the morning of the scheduled day and worked for about four hours until completion. We are still amazed at the quality of their work. Not only did they do an incredible technical job, but they also cared about how the new downspouts would affect the looks of the front of the house. They have an artistic eye, and we think the new downspouts actually enhance the house exterior. These guys are real professionals who care about what they do. I only wish they did more than just gutter; we would hire them to complete the rest of the projects in our house.

They did a great job, finished in one day. Did not have to do anything except come home and find brand new gutters on my home.

I received Mr. Hart's name from another contractor. He stopped by and left an estimate along with the color chart. After my home was painted, I picked my color and called him for the installation. We agreed upon a date to install and when I arrived home that evening my gutters were installed and looked absolutely fantastic.
