Description of Work: Complete remodel of our Master Bath. Very smoothly. Only small issue was there subcontractor for cabinets was a little slow in getting our cabinets provided. The cabinets were very nice.

Description of Work: Hamilton Interiors was very prompt about getting us a bid and working with us on viewing granite countertops. The installation of the countertops by a third party went well and Hamilton did a good job of installing new garbage disposal and stainless steel sink. However the lighter color granite installed has shown spots of oil and water marks. Even after having the third party inspect them and re-seal certain spots we continue to have many dark spots. We were pleased with Hamilton but not his recommendation of granite provider and its sealing techniques.

Description of Work: Called Craig Hamilton and left 2 messages a few days apart asking him to come give me a bid on kitchen remodel. No response to either call. Will have to look elsewhere for reliable contractor.

Description of Work: Hamilton Interior Finishes did a complete remodel of my guest bath including replacing tub with a walk in shower, new flooring, counter with granite top and linen closet. Craig was quite knowledgeable and had good ideas. This was a big help to me since I was new to the whole process of remodeling. They were great at keeping me informed daily as to what they were doing and would be doing next. I work long hours and could not be home most of the time but Craig and Vincent were very trust worthy, always prompt and worked around my schedule when I did meet with them. They did a good job of keeping the dust/mess minimal and they cleaned up every day before leaving so that I had very little inconvenience, if any, when I did arrive home from work. |During the remodel a few other issues popped up and Craig went above and beyond in helping me with these. Description of Work: Spoke with Craig Hamilton directly and briefly described the desired painting project. He wasn't the friendliest person over the phone and said he was "booked solid up until mid to late June" and wanted to know if I was in a hurry to get the job done. I explained that there was no rush, but that I would like to have an estimate. He didn't have anything to write my information down on and asked me to call him again and leave my information on his voice mali, which I did. He said he would call me back in the evening. Never heard back from him. I wouldn't give his company a second thought.

Description of Work: Craig Hamilton has done work for me several times over many years. He is the best! I really don't want anyone else working on my house! Craig's expertise, in my opinion, is his ability to problem solve. There have been more than a few times that he has been able to "diagnose" or fix a problem that has stumped other contractors/handymen. His prices are very fair and he often throws in extra things without charging. On this last visit, he fixed a large crack in our ceiling, did sheetrock repair in many areas, painted our ceilings and walls throughout most of the house, and fixed a couple of wobbly stair rails. His painters were excellent and professional....they spent most of their time prepping the walls and caulking before painting. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were easy to have in the house and were totally trustworthy. I am VERY happy with the work that Craig did.

Description of Work: I was looking for someone to replace the tile in my tub surround and left a voice mail message for Hamilton Interior Finishes on Sept 1, 2011 at 7:29pm. I wasn't expecting a call back until the next business afternoon, at the earliest; and would have been happy if I'd heard from them within 2-3 business days. But I never received a call. The other bids I got were a tad high, so I again called Hamilton on Oct 12, 2011 at 12:32pm and left another voice mail message. And, again, I never heard back from them. Presumably, they do good work based on the other reviews; but, alas, I'll never know.

Description of Work: I called Craig to hire him. I wanted radiant barrier sprayed on under side of roof and added insulation to reduce electric bills. Craig called me back within 48 hours with competitive bid and recommended materials. I accepted set up a Tuesday appointment to coincide with my schedule. Craig showed up at 7.30am and completed the entire job by 4.00 pm. Cleaned up after the job, had polite hardworking employees and you would not believe the difference in the inside temperature in just hours after the job, I would not hesitate in using Craig again for other home improvement work around the home.

Description of Work: Installed hardiplank lap siding on the exterior of our house in about a 200 sq. ft. area where the previous owners had removed brick for some remodeling efforts.
