Description of Work: Estimate for foundation repair - showed 50 min late - called twice ahead of time griping about the distance and his doubts we had foundation problems. Saying all concrete has cracks not all of them equal foundation problems. Just very rude, unprofessional & condescending.

Description of Work: The foundation inspection and estimate were both very satisfactory; the representative was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. My only beef is that of all the inspection appointments I made, this was the only one that charged a fee for the inspection. There are so many different ways to repair foundation problems in this area these days, that we felt the need to have several come out to argue their methodology, but we went with someone else.

Description of Work: Nothing. After several attempts to contact provider, chalked up the loss to experience. Ironically, the two other companies I contacted, who did not charge, came out and provided an estimate.

Description of Work: Looking at the description of the details of the service, I was really impressed and ordered this service (Foundation Inspection and Preventive Watering Plan With Credit). The guy shows up on time (actually ahead of time) and he walked around one side of my home and within literally 7 minutes say there is no problem with the foundation and wrapped it up. His other feedback was in response to my questions about how to keep the foundation wet and what does it take to do that. All of this talking is within the total 7 minutes. | |This is a total scam of a 'service' from this company and I can't believe Angie's list is promoting these kinds of companies. The guy literally walked away in 7 minutes telling me the obvious things (water the perimeter of foundation, things will change as house settles, etc.) I learned my lesson, so heads up to others to be aware of companies like this. | |I WOULD NOT recommend this company for any other customers.

Description of Work: I was needing an inspection report for a pending refinance. Monty was very knowledgeable and did not try to sell me something I did not need. I was thoroughly pleased with the explanations he gave me about the problems we do have and if necessary for refinance approval, I will certainly use Granite for our drainage issues. Description of Work: I was told by AC repair men that I had piers needing repair under my house. I did not know who to contact and a contractor said I should join Angies List. I did. I signed on with the first of the3 foundation companies listed for my zip. I returned the call and talked to Julie and explained what I was told was the foundation issue. She gave me the date, the man's name Yancy, and said he would be at my house at 10. At 11, I had not seen anyone so I called and talked to Julie again. She asked me who I was and why had I called that I was not even in their schedule. Then she told me after I told her the same thing about the pier issues that they do not work on these foundations. That was not said to me on Aug. 8 when I first told her. I do not feel that I should have to pay the $49 fee. No person ever set foot at my house. Now Julie had not only heard me explain the exact pier issue and had even told me the man who would be coming to do the inspection. This was like I was in the Twilight Zone yesterday when I called at 11 asking why Yancy had not come yet.

Description of Work: They installed 38 piers in our foundation to re-stabilize it due to poor work by the original contractor.
