Complete Overhead Door

It went great. It started with a call to Gus for service and they were at my home in less than 2 hours. Cord was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and very efficient. He took his time and adjusted everything and the door works better than when it was new. I would highly recommend them!

Went great. Removed old door. Installed new door 7X16. Adjusted travel. Had me operate open and close to demonstrate operation. Took old door away.

Purchased big deal package that was used to replace old screw drive garaged opener with new belt driven opener. Installed keypad. Also paid incremental cost to replace rollers on both garage doors and re-align 2nd garage door that had a tracking issue. Technician also lubricated second garage door opener and gave some maintenance advice. Technician was thorough and answered my questions. Did the work fairly quickly and have had no issues since it was installed 8 months ago.

These guys don't pay any attention to details. First, the salesman David showed up for 3 minutes, gave me a verbal quote and promised to get the job done next day. Couple of hours later another guy Andrew showed up wanting to provide another price quote. Andrew promised to e-mail me the price quote, but never did. Next morning a young fellow JB showed up with the wrong door. My existing door was white, he brought the almond one. Just like other guys, JB didn't have any doubts in his mind. He didn't bother to check the existing door or measure the opening, nothing. Just took the existing door down and started to mount the new one. While he was installing new door, I couldn't help, but notice that he mounted the winding rod the way that its center was 3-5 inches below the ends. Rails were not leveled either. I had to argue with JB to make him level those things. Finally after JB mounted new garage door, he noticed that it doesn't fit and gets stuck before reaching the floor. His suggestion was to "bust a piece of garage floor with the hammer and move rails away from the opening to allow new door to close." Of course I resisted any "busting" of my garage floor. "Complete Overhead Door" sent more experienced guy Andrew, who suggested the same thing. I had no choice, but to take control over the process in my own hands. I checked the old door that JB removed, and discovered that it came from a different manufacturer than the new one. Roller brackets on the new door were thicker than the old ones, which prevented the door from closing. I asked Andrew to take roller brackets from my old door and install them on the new one. After some arguing and resistance he agreed. Sure enough, door closed properly after that. I sure am glad that I took a day off from my office and was able to control what "Complete Overhead Door" guys did in my garage. I can only imagine what kind of mess this whole project would end up in, if I weren't there. I spent almost 5 hours dealing with these guys to get my garage door replaced. And next morning my wife had to watch JB replacing the almond door panel with the white one, that I ordered. These people claim to be garage door professionals, yet they lack very important things: professional evaluation, planning and execution of the project to prevent any potential problems.

David explained the service that was needed. And when he finish he explained what work I would need in the future. It was NOT a sales pitch. I would use them again and ask for Dave.

Andrew was prompt, professional, and gave a thorough explanation of the work needing to be done on my garage door and why. Would use again!

Cord and Jake did an excellent job removing our old 16' wooden garage, installing new tracks, springs, our new steel garage door and hooking it up to our existing door opener. They completed the task in less than 2 hours. We were very pleased with their workmanship and are very happy with our new door

Installation generally went OK except one door remains slightly out of square with the opening leaving a gap the door and the floor in one corner . However they didn't install between seals around the garage doors leaving a big gap between the doors and the frames. They came back and installed the seals as I requested after I told them that was a part of the door installation as has been the case with other doors I've had installed in the past. No competent garage door company could expect a customer to accept a garage door with a gap between the door and the frame that would allow rain, insects and no telling what else to get in around the door. Then I get the bill for the services and they added $170 to the bill without telling me up front that they were going to charge extra for installing the garage door frame seals. Then when I refused to pay the unauthorized up charge, Scott said they wouldn't honor the garage door warranty unless I paid and hung up on me. I guess I'll have to go to court to get warranty work done should there be a defect in workmanship or materials. I would be very cautious in dealing with this company.

I could not have called a better company (Complete Overhead Door) or a better technician (Cord). The gentleman that I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and positive. The company worked with me to ensure an arrival time that would fit with my schedule. Cord, explained the two options that could be done in order to make the repair. He was very honest and upfront regarding the cost and was very knowledgeable about the repairs. Cord was very patient, positive, and had a sense of humor. He took the time to make sure that the repair was done correctly and even had to start the process of the repair a second time. Complete Overhead Door is very lucky to have Cord representing the company. I wouldn't think twice about recommending this company and Cord to my friends.

Again, we were very satisfied with their work. Cord has been the person that has come to our house for all the work so far. He is fantastic. Courteous, knowledgeable, and he does high quality work. We will continue to use this company and will always request Cord to do the work.

It went well. Our technician was "Cord." He was professional and did not waste time. And when he was finished the new door opener was installed and almost impossible to hear.

This is a relatively new house to me and so I am still still finding out how old things are and whether they are in good condition. It has been 3 years since it was serviced so decided to go ahead with tuneup. Andrew was very good and reassuring that my garage door system was in good shape and was able to tell me when it was originally purchased. Would use him and the company again in a heartbeat.

I thought it would be an all day job, nope. Cord was in and out in about 2 hours from time of arrival, removing old 16' garage door. and putting up the new one, total new install including rails and door spring. Cord is quality work, no time wasted, very polite and professional.

Of the three bids that we received, their bid was the most affordable. I called a few hours later to schedule the repair and they returned the same afternoon to complete the work. The garage door has been this quiet in ages.

Results were very good. The technician, Cord, was friendly and competent and arrived within the two hour window we were given. He performed a safety check, tuned everything up and lubricated, fixed the problem with the door being loose, adjusted the spring and rebalanced the door, and replaced the failing rollers with a new set. Everything was explained before it was done.

I called to have the company come out. I scheduled a service appointment and nobody showed up. I gave them a little slack and called a few hours after they were due and rescheduled for the next day. A few hours before the new appointment time I called to confirm. They said I was on the books and would see me in a few hours. About an hour into the appointment window I got a call and they asked if they could reschedule for another day. I told them I would just find someone else to do the work that can make appointments.

Cord took great care of us and got it to working in no time. Even got my remote opener to work again.
