Very courteous and friendly. Quoted price. Fairly competitive from what I have got quoted so far.

Mike responded quickly to our request for a quote and brought photo examples of his work. I requested quotes from several other contractors and Mikes quote included everything we needed done and his was the best price for the work to be done. Mike came by one day and cleaned up the old bricks and was able to salvage enough good bricks to rebuild the mailbox. The next day he put in a good foundation and 1/2 the mailbox height. The old box did not have a foundation and had been leaning badly. Mike allowed sufficient time for the mortar to set up correctly, and cleaned up the joints and cracks at just the right time so the mortar is really nicely done. The next day he finished the remainder of the mailbox, talking his time to create a perfect arch, and too make certain everything was perfect. We chose a much larger USPO approved box. Mike did a really professional job. Mike is very particular about his mortar and has a VERY quality attitude in his work. He leveled each and every course of brick both horizontally and vertically, which resulted in a very high quality end product. His attention to detail is outstanding and the “eyebrow” arch above the curved top of the metal box is perfect. MUCH better than we see in mailboxes in our neighborhood. He cleaned up the area afterward and hauled away all the broken masonry mortar and other trash. Mike used the broken bricks as “filler” inside the new box to provide support for the “metal” mailbox. We could not be more pleased with the result. We have a couple of other projects in mind and will definitely call Mike to do the work.

Mr. Buchanan does the best work on repairing cracks in brick I have ever seen. His work, ethics, and pricing are absolutely outstanding. There is no question, he is the best in his business. If you want the best job in the world, at a reasonable price hire Mike.

Mike works alone so it took him several days to complete the job , but we were very satisfied with the finished product .

Mike Bid for repairs to our chimney. His price was right in line with other quotes, we chose him however due to scheduling needs. We were closing on the house and need the repair done in a timely manner. Mike went above and beyond the bid and even re-pointed some other cracks in the brick fascia. I would give Mike my work again if I ever need Masonry work done. He came, he bricked, and left it clean.

Excellent Brick Repair! This week we replaced all the hose bibs on the house and were left with four large holes in the brick... Worse, the plumbers were not able to salvage any of the original bricks. We called Mike Buchanan based on reviews, and the results were fantastic! Mike has been in the business for over 30 years, and it shows. He is very professional, responsive, and his work is flawless. Other companies were scheduling six weeks out, but Mike was able to fit us into his schedule within one week. We cannot recommend him enough!

I had to have an external faucet replaced on my home, so the plumbers had to break out some brick to make the repair. Of course they aren't responsible for the repair of the brick and that's where Mike came to rescue! I called Mike on a Monday evening and he returned my call promptly. Very polite, professional and easy to talk to. He said he could be out there as soon as Wednesday and to leave him a couple of bricks and he would take care of it. He told me exactly what time he would be there and confirmed everything. On Wednesday he arrived right on schedule and did the work. The brick looks great and he did a fantastic job job cleaning up. If I ever have anymore brick work I would use him in a heartbeat! Mike was a pleasure to work with.

Mike Buchanan was very punctual and polite. A very nice person that was easy to talk to and explain what I needed. Actually, he did not need any coaching as he has years of experience. Mike plans his work and shows up on time to do it. Plus he communicates. You will always know what's going on and what will be done on a given day. To me that shows professionalism. And Mike is definitely a pro. On top of his work, I have come to depend on him to recommend other tradesmen to do work for me. I had my roof installed by a company he recommended, Sharp Top Roofing, and they also did a very professional job. Mike is a good man to know.

Fabulous. He did the work unsupervised (it was outside) and we came home from work and it was gorgeous. We have other projects in our new home and we'll remember him.

Mike chiseled old mortar from our wall, added stone where it was needed, and mixed the masonry to match what was already there. It looks perfect. There are a lot of jack of all trades guys around, but Mike is a professional in his field and it shows in the work he does. I would definitely hire him again.

Mike is a craftsman, not just a "git-er-done" kind of worker, with many years' experience and is justifiably (though humbly) proud of his excellent work. He not only charged extremely reasonable rates, but his work was beyond top-notch. He repaired our exterior brick when we were getting our house ready to sell, and I'm sorry we didn't have him do the work earlier when we could have enjoyed it ourselves! He was easy to reach, returned phone calls quickly, and showed up when he promised he would. We were extremely impressed with Mike.
