I found Larry to be knowledgeable. He explained a lot of details about energy efficiency. However, when the house was inspected by another company, there was discrepancy between them. He did not mention anything about the poor insulation we had. He took a few pictures but it had little to do with the air quality. His recommendations were inadequate. He advised against the use of attic fans when everyone else promoted them to save energy. The biggest energy saver is more insulation. He never mentioned that. He said to keep the bathroom fans on all the time. However, the other company said to turn them off after 20 minutes. He claims that no one evaluates air quality for free and he charged $79. I found other companies that give free evaluations. He did not have a good attitude. He said he would refund my money but I have not received it yet.

Mr Larry Wallace was very professional. Honest. Great Price!! He did an extremely careful and complete 2-hour evaluation on a severe dust problem in our home. In simple words, so that we could understand, he explained in full detail what the problem was. He gave us a written report and clear instructions on what needs to be done to correct the problem. We are very happy with the results of his tests.

He also detected flaws in another area that were or could be causing costly problems in the future and provided a reputable contractor's name, should I decide to have the work done. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing blown-in insulation.

We contracted with Advanced Energy Solutions to find why our 8 year old home was drafty. Did we need to get new windows? Larry spent quality time checking everything in our home. He found our house was very good built including windows. He went over what he found was the causes of our drafts. Caulking, turning vents in different directions and adding an additional return air was all we needed to do. He explained in detail everything. We would give him an above Excellent reference.

Larry (owner) is a licensed Building-Code Inspector for energy audits. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about energy savings. He worked directly with Encore (electric grid) for rebates and applied them to my bill versus me waiting for the rebate to come. I worked in new homes construction for 15+ years, so I feel I am a good judge when it comes to contractors. I am impressed with Larry in every facet of the process.
