That 1 Painter - Austin

Paid $11k and was told it would be done professionally and in a timely manner. This was not the case. Was charged and paid the $11k and I now am back at square one. The work was not done/installed properly, the 3 year "warranty" is non existent, everybody is have spoke to says, call this number for corporate. I didn't realize there were 7 different phone numbers for the corporate office that all go straight to the same voicemail box. No phone calls have been returned in over a week. So, to the "owner" that got my $11k and to That1Painter, you're welcome for the free money.

Horribly ran business that refuses to pay for services rendered.

If I could give no stars, I would. It has taken me a year to write this review because it has taken that long to calm down from the experience this horrible company put us through. We hired them to paint the interior of our house as they were recommended by our realtor. They came in and quoted us and told us the job would take 4 days. We scheduled them and then scheduled out the other contractors that would come in after for carpet and counters. 4 days turned into 4 weeks and a complete nightmare. We had paint on the floor (still have paint speckles on the floor over a year later), the driveway, the screen of our our brand new TV, the sinks, the bathtub, and my husbands new truck. They did not take off light or electrical outlet covers. They did not bring their own tools and my husband would find his either scattered around the house or just gone altogether. They didn't use primer (even though they charged us for it) and the old paint color was showing through the white in multiple places. The paint was dripping and running and multiple places were not painted at all. It took weeks and refusal to pay before the "foreman" would finally come out and look at the mess his crew had made. Meanwhile, we are having to push back the other contractors because 4 weeks later, the painting is still not done. Our realtor is pushing us to get on the market because the feds were about to raise the interest rate and we wanted to beat that. We had the realtor come look at what this company had done to our home and he immediately took them off his list of recommended vendors. They finally sent out another crew to repaint the walls so the old color wasn't showing through, still did not use primer. A year later, that old color is coming through again. Paint drips are still are over the place. The walls look like crap. The foreman was supposed to come back out and inspect the redo, a year later that still has never happened. Yes, we are still in the house. Thanks to using this company, in the time it took them to "finish" the market dropped and we were unable to sell. I would not let them near a bird house with a paint brush. Beware of this company. They don't fix their mistakes. Truly a horrible company to deal with. When you are renovating or moving, the last thing you need to deal with is That 1 Painter.

Efficient and knowledgable!

It went smoothly and we're happy with both the interior and exterior work. That 1 Painter has done rooms in our house, rooms in a large (800 sq. foot, 2 bed, 1 bath) addition, and the exterior of the house. Communication has always been good, and That 1 Painter worked well with the other contractors we hired.

We've had Steven come out and paint several times and we've always been happy with the work.

Steven and his team did a great job. I've had compliments from other contractors on the quality of the work. The price was reasonable and the work was done as promised. They cleaned up all the trash and waste and returned the furniture to the original position. They reviewed the quality of the work and tended to any issues before they completed the work. I was impressed with the attention to detail and quality of the work. I will hire them again.

The whole experience went very well. They moved furniture and replaced. repainted anything that I asked them to and worked around my two great danes. I would highly recommend them.
