+ -1 morePrompt and responsive to all requests. Tried very hard to accommodate all needs. Agree with previous review that the contractor should be on the job site more frequently to make sure his subcontractors are doing the work which was agreed upon in the contract. Was my first experience with contractors/remodeling and overall am pleased with my home. Looks very nice. Managing multiple subcontractors is a challenging job, but in the end the job was done to my satisfaction.
Description of Work: Remodeled older home by removing wallpaper throughout home, painting all rooms, installing new drywall, new electric, new plumbing, new garage door, new insulation, and resurfaced wooden floors.

Description of Work: I needed a doggie door installed into the side of my house. Stinson contracting responded promptly to give me a quote and then completed the job above my expectations. The serviceman also took his time and extra effort to shop for a different doggie door to fill my order. Highly recommend for any contracting, landscaping, and irrigation service needed.

+ 2 moreAll in all, I would hire Victor again. No construction job is going to be perfectly managed or executed, but Victor did a good job and I feel the quality of the work matched what the money I paid to have it done.
Description of Work: Victor Stinson Contracting performed an exterior painting of my house, along with two full bathroom remodels and construction of an outdoor kitchen. All things considered, he did a pretty decent job. Strengths - Victor's responsiveness is superior when it comes to handling issues/problems. 99% of the time, I could always count on him to pick up the phone and deal with whatever concerns I had or something that might be wrong. He also works well with written contracts and his communication skills are superior. Weaknesses - Victor relies too heavily on the judgment of his subcontractors at times, and when he's not around, they sometimes attempt to take shortcuts. He needs to be on the job sites more. A few minor problems with his subs happened, no big deal. But, they could have easily been prevented with proper supervision. He needs to be out at the job site more, checking and re-checking the quality of the subs work.

+ -1 moreThey were very close to the lowest bid. When I gave them information about the lowest bid, they matched it. I worked with them before, so I knew that they were very good. One thing I liked is that a lot of the people were giving estimates and not even listening to the things that we were saying, they were just making decisions. While this company was asking questions. I mentioned keeping the price down, so he gave me options for how to keep the price down. He also worked with the neighborhood architectural committee to get the plans approved.
Description of Work: They put in our irrigation system in our front yard.
