Rubber Duck Refinishing

Rubber Duck Refinishing (RDR) refinished a cultured marble double-sink bathroom countertop that was starting to yellow. RDR did an amazing job, and the result is beautiful! We also asked them to repair a crack in a fiberglass hottub while they were onsite, which they were happy to accommodate and did a great job with. RDR was professional, timely, and friendly. We will definitely hire them again for future refinishing work.

The work was so well done and I was so pleased that I had them return to do my kitchen countertops. They did an excellent job in the kitchen as well!

The job was done well. The tubs look brand new and clean. The finish was smooth to the eyes but my kids mention that some parts in the tub feel rough and pokey when they shower. Overall I am happy with the job, just wish the inside would be completely smooth like the outside. We can definitely get away with not remodelling out bathroom for a few years.

The effect is dazzlingly bright! Like a brand new tub. Andrew was in and out in less than 4 hours. Just as estimated. Absolutely zero issues - I heartily recommend him if your tub needs refinishing.

This was scheduled for a Friday afternoon after 12:30. Andrew called around 2:00pm saying he was on his way and apologized for the delay. Since I had blocked out the whole afternoon it was no problem. He arrived and promptly went to work. The bathtub looks like new and it is 30 years old. He completed the job and cleaned up in a shorter time than I had anticipated. Andrew is very, very personable, pleasant to deal with, and professional. I will be hiring him for a kitchen refinishing project plus another bathroom project. Could not be more pleased.

It was a wonderful experience. He was conscientious and did a wonderful job. He gave me tips on how to clean it. It looks great and he was here when he said he would be. He finished in the time that he said he would finish. He cleaned up after himself pretty well and he was very professional. I would recommend him to people and I would use him again.

Andrew was fantastic! He was very helpful and clearly an expert. In looking at both tubs you'd never know that there were any repairs needed. He arrived on time, communicated in a timely fashion and went above and beyond to help me. I have already given his name to other people and realtors!

Andrew did an excellent job - far better than the original refinishing job. The tub looks like a brand new tub. He also advised us on how to clean the tub without diminishing the shine. He was less expensive than other bidders and provides the same 5 year warranty. At this point in time I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or other family members. If any problems arise later that would change this rating, I will so advise.

Andrew gave us a bid on refinishing two tubs; however, the day he was coming, we asked him also to include the tile surrounds. He was very accommodating, gave us a fair price, said it would just take a little longer, but he would be glad to do it. He arrived when he said he would, worked non-stop until he finished both baths. He was very professional, explained how he would complete the job and went to work. Andrew is a very friendly and responsive contractor and we will recommend him to anyone who needs refinishing work done. Great job!!

I had a couple of changes, and the owner, Scott was very accomodating. He was great to work with and very flexible. He called me before and after the job. He also left everything in the home the same way he found it - he was very clean. I will recommend him to others and will use him in the future.

Andrew showed up as promised and spent about an hour and a half refinishing an old iron-cast bathtub. He did an excellent job, cleaned up afterwards and was clear on follow up instructions. Overall an excellent experience!

We dealt with Andrew. We got this service as an "Angie's List Big Deal", so I'm not sure what the regular price was. Andrew showed up when he said he would, and called me when he was just a few minutes away, as we requested. The whole job took between 3 and 4 hours. The tub he refinished was installed in 1947, white porcelain, and was slightly pitted and dull due to years of bleach and Ajax scrubbing. The bottom was not smooth and was uncomfortable to sit in. The refinish job left the tub bright white and very smooth with a nice shine. We would recommend Rubber Duck Refinishing based on our experience.
