This job took many months. This was a major home improvement and we did not receive proper priority. Bathroom cabinets were installed wrong, Kitchen cabinets lights were done wrong. The different personnel send did not have the expertise. Found holes through walls. Plumbing in shower room was not perform correctly. SO MANY BAD THINGS. Find someone else! There was a huge amount of time between completing one section and another. In the mean time my house was without tiles for 45 days. Bathroom incomplete for a long time. The lack of coordination make my family suffer a lot. Maybe I should sue!

We are very pleased with the results. Meticulous is the word that comes to mind to describe James' work. When the job was done, before final payment, he found several things that needed to be corrected whereas we had only seen one problem. He does a walkthrough alone and then with the client after any work or corrections have been done to be sure we are all in agreement about the quality of the work. He provided a wide range of color choices and gave suggestions and recommendations only when requested. He responded to all our phone calls and texts promptly and was professional as well as personable. We are preparing to put our house on the market and he was recommended to us by our real estate agent. He is a handyman but also does some remodeling and is a home inspector as well. We will continue to have him do any necessary work on our home, and we highly recommend him.

Initial quote of $750.00 was to repair the wood (fascia, trim, etc) around 5 weird and quot;eyebrowand quot; things around our roof. We knew two of them were pretty rotten and would be a pain. After the contractor had initially tried to repair the first one, we discussed removing them all together. After discussing with James he removed the first and quot;eyebrowand quot; to show him it could be done. The house looked better immediately. Until the hole was patched. It looked terrible. 4 days in and the work performed was 1) eyebrow removal and 2) repair to one of them. We reached out to James via text and voicemail to discuss our dissatisfaction with the progress, then sent the guy home for the day. After speaking with James, we agreed that they would halt work and that he would work up another quote. He said it would be - and I quote - and quot;way less than the original quote.and quot; The materials were mine, he would email me the quote, and he'd tell the contractor to come pick up his tools from my house. The new quote was $617 and some change. He said he could take the materials off to lower the quote (which we did) and ended up at $524.12. Overall I'm disappointed about the quality of work done and the final price. After $524.12 I have 3 open holes in my house (into my attic) and one patch job that has to be redone.

Because of a plumbing issue, we had to re-tile our bathtub/shower surround. RIS removed the old tile down to the studs prior to another company doing the tile work. They hauled everything away and did a nice job of cleaning up. There was some damage to the drywall that happened during demolition, which we paid separately for them to fix (there was a misunderstanding between us, RIS, and the company that did the tiling as to who should do the repairs. This was not RIS's fault.). They did a good job of repairing the damage. They were very personable and easy to deal with. We will definitely use them again for home improvement/handyman services.

He was a great guy, however he didn't really have the proper equipment or expertise to install the fans. I felt like worked for him because I had to build a scaffolding in my attic for him to do some of the work. I even ended up being the one to program the controllers because he didn't know how. All he really did was get on the roof and install the fans but I hooked them up. I don't feel he did the job I paid for.
