PURE & SIMPLE WATER/WATER CONDITIONING SYSTS INC

The owner came to the house and sold us on the water system quite promptly. When they came to install the system they did not have enough salt with them for the system. They told us to run it with the small amount (1 bag for 5 bag system) they provided. They said they would return the next day with additional salt. They did not return the next day. We called them and got excuses; we were told they would come the next day. The next day, no show and no phone call. We called them and they said they would come the next day. We called again, got more excuses. This continued for five days. Finally, on the fifth day they called and set up the appointment for later that day. We waited until 6 pm, then called them. "They're on their way." Waited an hour, called again, same response. Again, and again and again until 9 pm when they finally showed up. At one pont I kind of yelled at the owner and said, "You told us you would be here by 6:30 at the latest." He disagreed: "I said it could be AS LATE as 6:30." Apparently there is some difference between the meaning of those two phrases. Finally, Two kids (probably between the ages of 18-20 years old) showed up with 2 bags of salt. I told them they WERE coming the next day with the rest of the salt. The kid responds that "we are not." I Called owner and he said they would come the next day. Three days later we finally got the additional two bags of salt. The delays were ridiculous, but if they were just honest about how long it would take them, or that they didn't know but would get back to us with a firm appointment, that would have been nearly acceptable. They showed up to my 81 year old mother's house at 9:30 pm. She isn't used to being up that late, let alone letting strangers into the house at that hour. We did have problems with the system twice, which they did come out and fix, but with the same appointment time difficulties. They were out days later than when they told us they would be.

Carlos was very prompt and courteous in answering all of my questions and explaining the process and never pressured me into anything, he was always just helpful! The crew worked very quickly and efficiently installing the new equipment and removing the old, they cleaned up and explained how it all worked. Carlos even offered to come back out the next day when some air in the line made a small noise if it didn't resolve itself, which in a few hours it did. We have no complaints with the equipment or the customer service and even my skeptical husband is enjoying soft great tasting water.

They came out to check our system & provided a written estimate of parts and labor. The technician was very knowledgeable and gave us dates when we should have the units serviced. They will notify us when service is due, from one year to seven years, depending on the equipment. He showed us how to service the UVL unit on a monthly basis. We were very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge.
