We are not the type of people that write a review without feeling the necessity to do it. Because this is of interest to potential new clients, I feel it is imperative to write this review. To begin, the company sent a new and inexperienced technician, we had to tell technician to please call the main office to look at the notes from the previous technician since the issue that they took care of in the past arose again. Our tankless heater is high on our property wall, so we provided a ladder. Technician never climbed the ladder, but suggested that in the future, we should hire them to move the tankless heater to a place that was easier for them to look at (in the past no one had complained about this). It was clear the technician was being lazy and wanting to leave, but he did say we needed a flush and that the office would send a quote afterwards. When we first called Mustang Plumbing, they told us that the service fee would be $225 and that it would be credited if we decided to move forward with, whatever service the technician found that would be needed. Mustang Plumbing quoted 600+ to flush the heater, but when my wife called, they conveniently said that they would only credit us half of the initial service fee – investigation fee. I personally replaced the showerhead and the issue was resolved. My wife spoke to them and they were being rude. When she (Courtney) tried to triangulate the call, they had hung up. I then called them directly and while I was speaking to them, the manager got on the line and basically told me that the only issue here is that we need to pay the service fee and that if we would’ve agreed to do the flush, we would’ve gotten 100% of the initial fee credited. I stopped her and let her know that that was not what her team had told us. Her team had told my wife that only 50% credit. As I’m on the phone, she proceeds to start talking to multiple people around her and I can hear them trying to figure this out and what went wrong. I offered her to pay only what was going to be credited and reminded her that the technician did not do anything and that he concluded we needed a service that wasn’t even needed. I hung up the call and 10 minutes later they charge my card for $225 (the full service fee). As a family that tries to make educated decisions and hire, trustworthy companies, this is not the type of company that should be hired for any service. They are not trustworthy, they are clearly not organized and do not communicate with each other. They employ inexperienced people to service the community.

Preston, from Mustang Plumbing went above and beyond to make sure all of the issues we were having were completed before he left. We had previous technicians out and there were difficult fixes needed. Preston was not phased by any of them and took his time to get everything resolved.

Rick was amazing and came out within 48 hours. He got it fixed up, explained everything to me and was so amazingly kind! I appreciated that he was so informative and as a woman sometimes people dumb it down, but he was not like that at all. I have also called Mustang to just ask a couple questions about our new home and we have always had great customer service from the front. Ashley was the most recent to help me out, but everyone at Mustang has been great to work with. Highly recommend!

Called the number listed and their rep said it would cost $400.00 per hour and I would have to leave my credit card number. I realize there are a lot of people who need pipe repairs after the below freezing temps for 144 hrs but the price seems too excessive!!!

We had to have the floors replaced in our house. That required removing three toilets. The builder contracted with Mustang plumbing to re-seat the toilets after the floors were completed. The plumber, Justin, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Even though we did not have to pay for the service I would hire Mustang plumbing in the future because of Justin. Thank you for your service.

Been trying to reach someone from Mustang Plumbing to get a simple quotation for over 3 weeks now. I've left at least 3 voicemails throughout that time. Why can't they understand that returning customers phone calls is the least they can do to prevent reviews from being posted online? Be professional ya'll. You're operating a business.

I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. They were just really not easy to work with. The communication and everything...we were just really frustrated. I wasn't even home when they actually came out because my husband was. They got the work done. They are not very customer oriented. They put in our water heater and they kind of cut corners on it. We'll never use them. They had done the initial plumbing on the house and put in the water heater so when we were having a problem with it, we weren't a priority. By the time my husband was able to get them to come out, they weren't very nice. I hate to say F because ultimately they did but I would say that their service was less than average so I would probably give them a D. I think we ended up replacing both water heaters and the whole set was like four years old. I don't know how much we ended up paying. I think once they came out, they did okay. The thing started leaking and we were bailing out water and they wouldn't even return my phone call and everything. So my husband finally ended up taking over the whole deal. I don't think they are very professional. Obviously they weren't professional because they didn't respond to me right away.

Great customer service and quality work. Mike was very conscientious about being quiet with our sleeping baby and he found the leak with minimal destruction to ceiling sheetrock.

We converted all four bathrooms to the high-rise toilets. At first, their rep said it would be about $150 to install a toilet, but it turned out they charge by the hour ($147/hr). They sent two guys out and finished all four in just under 2 hours, so the cost was about half what we expected. They cleaned up all the mess and did a good job on installation.

We are very unsatisfied with our experience with Mustang Plumbing, and would not recommend them to any other Angie's List member. Rather than editorialize, below is the sequence of events that summarize our interactions with this provider: 1. Saturday afternoon, we call our home warranty company to submit a claim. The company suggests a service provider that was not Mustang Plumbing. We check Angie's List, see that the original provider has poor reviews and ask for an alternate. The home warranty company offers Mustang Plumbing. We check Angie's List and see that this company had generally positive reviews, so we agree to be serviced by Mustang Plumbing. Home warranty company submits a work order that day to Mustang Plumbing. Because it is a Saturday, we did not expect any contact from the provider that day, but were assured that the provider should contact us first thing on Monday. 2. Monday - no contact from provider. 3. Tuesday afternoon. After nearly a second full business day of not hearing from Mustang Plumbing, I call the office. The woman I speak to tells me that no work order was received from my home warranty company. She does not offer to follow-up with the home warranty company or otherwise make any attempt to resolve the problem. I hang up with her and contact the home warranty company directly. The home warranty company confirms that the work order was sent to Mustang Plumbing on Saturday, re-submits the work order, and while I am on hold, calls Mustang Plumbing directly to resolve any scheduling issues. It was late afternoon by this time, and I am assured that Mustang Plumbing would be in touch with me the next day to schedule my service. 4. Wednesday - no contact from Mustang Plumbing. In the afternoon I call Mustang Plumbing and leave a message for the same scheduler stating that I am confused what the issue is and that I will find another provider if they are not interested in doing the work. I receive a call back a half hour later from a gentleman named Terry. He schedules my appointment for Friday at my request. He did offer a next day appointment. Terry tells me that the technician will be there in the morning, and sets expectations of an arrival before 9:30 a.m., notwithstanding a service window of 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Anyone who has to stay home from work to meet a tradesman at the house knows that 4 hour service windows are suboptimal, but based on the assurance that they will get there early in the morning, I accept the appointment and am told I will receive a call no later than 30 minutes before the service technician will arrive. 5. Friday. I stay home from work but I hear nothing from Mustang Plumbing provider until approximately 11:45 a.m. By this point, I've left my house and am on the way to work so as not to miss a meeting. Terry calls me and states that their technician was delayed and that my appointment would need to be rescheduled until sometime that afternoon. I explain that I am already on my way to work, having waited the entire morning at my house without anyone showing up. My thinking is that Mustang Plumbing knew or should have known before 11:45 a.m. that they would not make the appointment as scheduled and they should have reached out to me immediately out of courtesy and respect for my time. At this point, I have reached my limit with Mustang Plumbing and tell him that I have no interest in re-scheduling the appointment. We have generally had very good experiences with other providers we've gotten from Angie's List (as evidenced by our other reviews which are positive). Mustang Plumbing is the exception.

The plumber cut the a/c condensation line in order to install a wall mounted faucet. After he installed the faucet, he did not reattach the condensation line. The condensation from our air conditioner has been dripping into our wall for at least a month. All this condensation water has effectively destroyed half of our new master bathroom. No manager or owner of Mustang Plumbing has visited the house to see the damage that they caused. No one from Mustang Plumbing has contacted us to tell us that they will do the right thing and pay for all damages plus this massive inconvenience. We have not used our master bathroom for four months while it was being renovated. The construction was 99% done. Now we have to effectively start over.

We were referred to Mustang Plumbing by our home warranty company. Our water heater went out on 3/10/13. We called Mustang Plumbing on Monday, 3/11/13 at approximately 9:15 AM and a service technician arrived at our home at approximately 2:15 PM. The technician evaluated the situation, notified the warranty company, left to go get a new water heater, returned and installed the new one. The technician was finished with the job by 4:30 PM. We now have hot water!!! YEA!!!

My home warranty copay was only $75 so I don't know the actual cost of repairs. Our sink overnight had filled with water and overflowed. We called the home warranty company. The first plumber they called couldn't come out until Monday so they got a hold of Mustang Plumbing who reported they could come same day. They called me after receiving the order from the home warranty company and scheduled a time. They called back to say an earlier time had come available and were right on time. The plumber was very polite and professional. He snaked the line and explained how the previous owners had not ever serviced their A/C and the A/C drain was hooked up to this sink drain which had gotten clogged and backed up. He recommended keeping the A/C serviced. Very quick and polite service.

They're awesome. We're super pleased. They're here when they say that they'll be here. They do their work right the first time.

They did a good job. They had done work for me previously and they are just less than a mile from where I live. I do not know much about plumbing so price wise I have no idea. They were very timely. I called and set up the appointment and they set it for the next day. The guy arrived in a timely manner; he was neat, tidy and friendly. He got the job done. He explained what he did and was on his way. I had no issue with the quality of his work what so ever. I will use them in the future.

I didn't like them. They used to do air conditioning work and I don't feel like they did a very good job with that, but they are not doing it anymore. They completely butchered the job and took three times longer than it was supposed to be taken. They also gave me bad advice. So the money that I spent with them ended up being a waste of money. I had to get a new system anyway. I wouldn't use their services in the future.

Very professional and competent and would recommend them to others.

Overall, it was a good (B-) and for the most part a satisfactory experience. The plumber was courteous and professional.

I was initial pleased with the responsiveness of the company. They arrived between the time that they said they would. They were both professional, but the first plumber reeked of cigarette smoke. He did an excellent job on the first toilet, put a new wax ring on and replaced the inwards that were rusted. Unfortunately, the second toilet leaked all over the floor after flushing over the weekend. We had to call for another plumber to come out. They were able to get a plumber out, even though they were all out on all day jobs. The second plumber pulled the tank, identified the full extent of the problem and repaired it. I was satisfied and felt that I got my monies worth.

The job went well, once we understood the situation (hard-to-find British valve, best to replace with common American model). The plumber came late the first day, and we agreed to postpone the work until the next day to ensure good job quality. He came on time (early, actually) and did the job without problems, despite somewhat weird piping arrangement he found when he opened access the valve. He was able to get at the valve from an adjacent room, so tiling in shower did not have to be torn up.

He did a good job. It was a weekend and he responded in a very timely manner. He was able to do the work on a weekend and at a fair price.

They were knowledgeable, efficient and got the job done quickly. I was satisfied with their service.

We had used this plumber about a year ago and was satisfied. We will NEVER use them again.the prices for parts were outrageous Fill valve and flappers $34.60 Angle stop and supply line $127.10 2 rubber flappers $68.60 All these supplies at Home Depot would be under $30 We called the office and complained and the boss knocked off $100 from the $330 bill. We felt we were ripped off and will let everyone we know about our experience. I will add that the plumber they sent was nice it wasn't his fault at all.."he jsut went by their book of prices".

Excellent service - they were here an hour or less after I called and gave me an estimate and fixed the issue in an hour. Fair price and matched the ballpark estimate they gave me over the phone. We needed this fixed quickly in response to a home inspection during the process of selling our home.

Never got started because of their small mindedness.
