It all went fantastically well, even though practically all of my assumptions were riddled with inaccuracies. This was my first experience with remodeling - so my preparedness and expectations were all over the place. However, these guys were so skilled and so nice that I was not disturbed by the surprises that are intrinsic with such undertakings. Actually I felt all of the proposed resolutions to these problems were discussed and taken seriously - even mine (me being a total troglodyte when it comes to such things). Each and every person involved with this project took the time to explain the process and answered my concerns thoroughly. They were all quite trustworthy, honest, punctual and knowledgeable. And what I appreciated most was/is that they were/are all genuine. It felt like I met some more of my relatives!! From the moment I met with Greg, the President of this Mr. Handyman, to saying good-bye to the last Technician, I felt very comfortable and pleased with my dealings with this group. I will definitely contract them again and have no reservations whatsoever to refer them to others. .....oh and they were very clean, even vacuuming each time after they worked. I now have absolutely no dread in pursuing other projects in my home!

They were really good. They were punctual and their quality of work was good. I will use their service in the future again.

Arrived at the agreed time. Did the work in a professional manner, with pleasing results and clean up afterward. There is one thing to be aware of with this service: They charge by the hour ($88 per hour at the time of my repairs) and have a minimum charge of 2 hours plus a $40 dispatch fee -- total $216, plus cost of materials. Therefore, the repairs you desire should be worth at least this amount to you. In my case the work was completed within the 2 hour period.

They have done several jobs, and have always done excellent work. They are great--always right there when you need them.

It was a very positive experience. I will call them again to do some other things. I thought they were very professional and quick. They did a good job. The quote I originally got was pretty accurate. The office people were really nice.

He returned my call, which I thought was very nice. He provided his number and said that he would be glad to help with any projects in the future.

Tom was punctual and very professional and friendly. He worked steadily through my list of jobs. His work was good and my experience excellent.

Tom arrived a few minutes before 8:00 ready to work. I first showed him the French doors. He knew just what the problem was and showed me where the doors are adjusted.Another door had a good seal, he said. He did not recommend adjusting it, but he did grease the door to make it easier to open. When I showed him the dresser, he realized he needed to move the dresser away from the wall to make the repair. There were many pictures on the dresser. He took them off and replaced them after the repair. Someone else had recaulked the base of the shower, and the caulk was coming up. He took out the old caulk, cleaned the edges well, and replaced the caulk. He even checked the rest of the caulk in the shower while he was there. I had a little bit of time left after he had finished the repairs, so he asked if there was anything else I needed done. I told him about the pavers. I showed him where the replacement pavers were kept, and he replaced the broken ones quickly.

I liked the fact that they came the very next day after I talked to them. However, they were fairly expensive. They did fine though. I have a very particular eye for making sure the shelves are level so he had to keep moving them. But I was glad he was willing to work with me. If I needed someone fast I would use them again.

I submitted a request via the website and somebody called me that morning, scheduling a person to do the work first thing Monday morning. They sent a follow up email with everything we discussed, including price. Tom showed up exactly on time and did the work as agreed. Great job!

Was great. I called on Wednesday and Tom was there right on time Friday morning, a little early in fact. He did a great job and was finished in just over an hour. I wish I'd had a few more things ready for him to do since the first two hours are $216, no matter what is or isn't done, but that's alright. I'm happy with the results.

It didn't - I submitted my first request in November and didn't here back - which was fine because I needed to schedule time off - I re-submitted 1st week of December for the 27th - Greg called at 7:45 am to say that he needed to re-schedule - he had a sick technician and that was it - no sympathy whatsoever for me.

Mr. Handyman of NW Austin does an excellent job. One thing that is nice is that they offered me a $25 coupon on my next call. The man that came was very professional and courteous. He even asked if there were more things he could do for us since he was there.

Great, very professional staff. Well thought out plans prior to starting. Generally very good at estimating project cost and duration. Quality of work is high.
