Mr. Handyman of NW Austin

Description of Work: We had previously had some wood rot repaired on our chimney and upstairs window sills, but the weather was too cold to paint. Used an Angie's List Big Deal and had Mr. Handyman come out to do the painting. They showed up on the wrong day the first time, but rescheduled. They came on time and did a great job on the painting. He gave suggestions on a couple of other things we were looking at doing as well.

Description of Work: replace Ceiling fan in a very high ceiling (~16ft or so).

Description of Work: Installed a new exterior door and installed rain gutters on back of house. Good work, fair pricing, timely completion.

Description of Work: Need fence and deck replaced. Mr Handyman was the only company of five I contacted that required payment ($50) to make an on-site estimate. Bid for fence was competitive but deck quote quite high. Proposal for fence specified using 1/3 less Quikrete per post than specified by other fence companies. Proposal for deck specified non-radiused boards whereas other companies specified radiused boards which is important since pressure treated wood will "cup", exposing sharp edges of the decking if boards are not radiused. Mr handyman was adamant about not using more Quikrete and indicated that radiused boards would be "special order", inferring higher cost. Mr Handyman was not awarded the jobs so I lost my $50 which would have otherwise been credited to the price of the work.

Description of Work: In-house furniture miving and wall art hanging. I have used their services many tomes over tge last year and highly recomnend them.

Description of Work: Technician Marty showed up on time, worked quickly, completed everything. He was fantastic. He completed many small tasks and got them all done efficiently. I will definitely use Mr. Handyman again and I will request Marty.

Description of Work: We purchased an Angie's list coupon for two hours of work so that we could try them out for some bigger items we had planned. Don was punctual and professional. He hung some custom blinds on a very large window, installed shower heads and rewired a problem switch. Overall, he exceeded our expectations. He now plan on using them for some bigger jobs where we have asked for an estimate. I would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I had a number of things around the house that needed to be installed or repaired - hanging a ceiling fan, replacing out door lights, fixing a fence gate. John took care of it all and even fixed my front door.
